Almost all akashi angst fics have to give him a terminal illness?? JUST LET MY SON BE SAD WITHOUT HAVING HIS MOM'S ILLNESS TO MESS HIM UP PLEASE(although if knb had continued I swear fujimaki would have brought out the "akashi inherited his mother's illness" card because he can't give akashi a break)

I remember going through the akashi fics on fanfiction.net(yes FANFICTION.NET ao3 had failed me so bad) and I found a fic in which the summary said that bokushi(I swear I do not want to type this out) organised gang r*pes to cover up his own..and this was labeled as a DID CHARACTER STUDY I WAS AND STILL AM SO MAD ABOUT IT.

But that aside because I do not want to talk about it, akashi deserves to have more fics where he's happy and healthy and healing with his friends.

Now that I think about it he looks so much younger in the headspace than outside it.

This could either represent the fact that bokushi is younger(the little brother) but considering the fact that both of them look similar it's probably not the case.

It could also mean that the akashi we see outside the headspace is everyone else's perception of him. He appears older, more menacing outside the headspace because that's what he tries to be. But in the headspace we're shown what he actually looks like.
