Is it just me or everytime Daisy mentions Adam it borders sexual

-Adam’s just so massive

-It’s scary when you have a 6′4″ big man coming at you with a hard thing that can cause damage 

-I did something physically that I never thought I’d be able to do and I really felt like I could take down Adam.

My Take Away from TROS Novels (JJ and Disney-LF Can Suck It)

1.Rey felt her soul tear apart and was in despair because she lost her dyad. But Ben managed to communicate with her and she completely 180s knowing Ben is there with her - as if she’s a woman on a mission.

So I never really believed Ben Solo is dead. 

The Force welcomed him, after giving his all to Rey but he did not become a ghost. I think the Force offered him a chance at redemption and brought him to the Vergence scatter to recuperate. 

Rey, as a dyad is tapped on to Ben’s thoughts. It is canon that they see each other’s pasts and know each other fully well. 

So she must sense where he is - and makes it her mission to find him. 

Add her Jedi Temple Guard saber to it and I’m really sure she went to find ben in the scatter and managed to get him out. 

No one is ever really gone, after all. 

And if JJ or Rae comes out a few days later to say no Ben is dead dead then I will continue to ignore it because I reject fucking stupid suggestions ala Nick Fury. 

2..Rey does not mourn Kylo Ren - because Ben was never just Kylo. 

Rey knows the extent of Ben’s abuse under Snoke and his neglect under his parents. It was why she was quick to fight Luke about how he treated Ben. She knows exactly what happened to him - and she’s always called him Ben after all that - because that was who he is. 

Kylo Ren was a mask he adopted to survive his abuser. Kylo Ren was all the parts of himself that was ill-fitting. 

Adam Driver described it the best - he was unpolished and unrefined, and often doing things he thought was right - Kylo Ren wasn’t necessarily evil yes, but he was all the parts that hurt Ben. 

And Rey will never mourn losing the parts of him that hurt him, the parts of him that suffered and was abused and tortured. 

Rey will not mourn Kylo Ren because she won’t mourn Ben’s suffering. She’s glad to have Ben rid of him, rid of the mask, rid of the pain. 

It’s not because she thought Kylo was evil and this new Ben was pure - it’s the simple fact that Kylo was painful. And now he is gone and Ben is just Ben. Smiling at her, and being with her. 

3.They can communicate through the Dyad

Long live the fanfictions with Force!Ben who is in Rey’s head in perpetuity.

I keep thinking about how proud Nat and Steve would be of their other halves, Yelena and Bucky (respectively).

Nat would see Yelena still struggling with her grief of losing her sister, and not having been able to say goodbye, but still moving forward and wanting to do more, be more. Nat would be so proud of Alexei, too, for being there when Yelena needs. Nat never really got to have Alexei as her father, she always knew it wasnt real. But she made herself into something else, someone who didnt need a father. But Yelena had a family and then it all turned out to be a lie. Yelena was always more emotional of the two girls. Nat probably wished and dreamed of finding her sister all the time, but made excuses.

Yelena sought out Alexei, hoping he'd be something. And he was. And that was good. Alexei is old enough to have silly wisdom, but real wisdom all the same. Alexei wanted to be Yelena's father, knowing how awfully he failed. And he saw the light restored in Yelena, at least a little fire. And he fanned that flame. And he was a dad. And Yelena saved the day. She saved Bob! She saved the world. Because she used her understanding of his situation because she was in the same place, being lifted out by Alexei and Ava and even John and Bucky.

Nat's little sister saved the day. And is a full-blown Avenger!!

Steve would see Bucky and his career as a congressman and his heart would swell. He'd see how hard Bucky fought and tried and tried again. Bucky has never given up, and always tried to look out for others, even if he didnt fully understand Bob, he trusted Yelena and the other Thunderbolts and he worked with them, a part of a team. Bucky knows teams. Hes better in a team than on his own. Steve would try to help Bucky and Sam figure out their argument. But he'd also encourage them both to figure their shit out together.

But now Bucky is a whole Avenger. From rich Brooklynn boy, to enlisted soldier, to POW, to member of the Howling Commandos and Captain America's right hand, to the Winter Soldier, to Captain America's right hand again, to Congressman, to Avenger. !!! Steve would be so proud.

Steve and Nat, from wherever they are, are looking down on their favorite people and beaming. And wishing their success and safety. And watching over them. And theyre so proud.
