The weirdest interactions are complements like I’m in class and there’s this girl who hangs out with like “popular” people like football players and whatever, and my bio teacher always has us yell out answers to stuff and when ever I get something right the girl will say like good job Renly or like ya Renly girl or she’ll make a buzzing noise because I’m a bee keeper (fun fact about me😂) and I just like don’t ever know if she’s doing it to make fun of me or if she’s being nice and genuinely complementing me. Because lots of people in my grade do that kind of thing where they find some one nerdy or below them and say like “ want to be my boyfriend? Ok great we are dating” and it is just a big joke to them , they use complements like “ oh I love your shirt” as a way of making fun of people because apparently it’s obvious that the persons shirt is not cool or whatever. And it’s so aggravating because I am already a anxious person and when people give complements to me I always second geuss them even more as like a way to make fun of me or something, but also she could be just being nice to me.
