after months of waiting, and i got the call today that the DoL had to close the case. my case worker tried his hardest, but of course the parent company refused to respond to attempts to reach out and when he managed to get into contact with my previous boss, the employer provided the wrong documents that had been requested and cut contact with my case worker immediately after. he tried very hard to continue reaching out to them but without proper documents, his hands are very unfortunately tied.

this is really upsetting because this means i am never going to see a single penny for the work i put into that job for the 3 weeks that i worked there, doing 9 hour shifts for 6 out of 7 days a week as someone who is physically disabled. that job destroyed my body and i still haven’t fully recovered from it. the bare minimum of what i’m owed is $800 and i was going to use that money to pay off my debt to my school, pay off a little bit on my credit card (that i had to max out when all this happened so we could survive in december), and hopefully have some left over to pay for necessities.

i have a job currently but i get less than the average part time hours for very little pay and on top of that the work is hard on my body. i’m desperately trying to find something else, especially after being sexually harassed while working last night so 🙃 we’re going to have maybe $10 between us if that after bills and rent come out and NOTHING left to buy food with for the next two weeks.

idk what else to say, but i’m going to start a GFM here soon to hopefully survive for a couple weeks and recover some of this. i don’t really expect to meet the goal but anything helps honestly.

for now i’m going to leave my p4yp4l link because we need grocery money NOW and i would really appreciate it if people could reblog this because despite messaging tumblr’s (nonexistent) staff 5 times now i am STILL shadowbanned. i really really hate begging but we don’t have a choice rn.

this time nico is wearing the actual school uniform instead of jiji's and i took him out of his aviator jacket. he's still breaking school rules though with his unkempt clothes, jewelry, and painted nails. gave him a bunch of trinkets too bc why not. jason by contrast is as straight laced as ever but learns to let loose after becoming friends with nico as they fight off ghosts and aliens. like okarun his hair is untamable after getting possessed, and he also becomes a lot more jacked later on. top left corner: jason skinny w close cropped hair at start of au vs the end jason with broader shoulders, more muscle mass, and messy hair

do you hc frank as neurodivergent too? can you explain it (i saw your hcs about clothes and there was frank too, so i got curious)

Absolutely! Mostly it's just all demigods are ADHD/dyslexic, and it's bizarre for Frank to somehow be the sole exception to that - especially with the mildly racist undertones making him the only neurotypical demigod has, given racist Asian stereotypes. (We can discuss how the series implies ADHD/dyslexia are not exactly inherent demigod traits, but are just inherited from their parents because ADHD/dyslexia is genetic, and so extremely common in demigods from their godly parents - but we know Frank's mortal family are demigods too, so logistically they are also likely to have ADHD/dyslexia and that actually makes Frank more likely than the average demigod to be ADHD/dyslexic. Regardless it's an almost guaranteed demigod trait. But I digress.)

Also, Frank canonically is coded as having dyspraxia. Which, alongside just inherently making him neurodivergent (so that already nullifies his claim in-text about being neurotypical), dyspraxia has extremely strong co-morbidity with ADHD and dyslexia. It'd actually be kind of odd for Frank to have dyspraxia and not be adhd/dyslexic.

Basically all signs point to "There is no reason why Frank wouldn't also have adhd/dyslexia" / "Frank is literally already canonically neurodivergent so him claiming that he's not is already incorrect." so generally i go the route of Frank is just undiagnosed.
