Escape
Medea informed me of her father’s intentions to not relinquish the golden fleece like he promised to do once I accomplished his impossible tasks. I wasn't even surprised to be honest... but she also suggested that i just take what was mine and leave. Well i knew it wouldn’t be that easy because the fleece is guarded by a dragon, but what other choice did i have apart from giving up my only chance to rightfully reclaim my throne?
Medea thankfully provided me with a sleeping draught for the dragon... bless her, i certainly wouldn’t have made it this far without her, i’m so grateful to the gods for gifting me her.
Anyway the dragon eventually fell into a deep slumber thanks to the magic potion and Orpheus’ lyre playing, and i grabbed the fleece right from under him. We all fled as fast as possible, and made it to the Adriatic sea. Everything was such a blur and i don't quite remember what happened... someone (or maybe a few someones?) may have died, and there was a struggle to get away. All i know is that I have promised to marry the beautiful Medea soon.

Today is the Day
Well today a lot of stuff went down… Medea’s ointment worked, and prevented me from being burnt by the bulls fire breath, which meant all I had to do was reign them in and make them plough the fields, which wasn’t easy but I eventually managed it! The next challenge was fighting the dragon-teeth-men, and my lovely Medea had told me that throwing rocks at them would make them turn on each other. It actually worked!! Well mostly, there were a few I still had to cut through with my sword but that was much easier than facing them all by myself. Medea’s father was infuriated though, and figured that someone had helped me.. I don’t blame him it’s not every day that a person can be engulfed in flames and come out unscathed… anyway I have to go because there’s a lot going down right now, I’ll update a bit later today if I’m not dead.

Going to be honest, still not looking forward to facing this beast.

Betrayal?
So Aeëtes told me I must take fire breathing bulls, make them plough the fields, plant dragon’s teeth, and then defeat the soldiers that spring from the planted teeth. Sounds easy yeah? I was dreading even attempting to reign in the bulls… but Medea came through for me! She gave me some ointment and some advice, and I’m a bit more confident now. I’ll check in tomorrow and let you all know how I went!

Aea
Finally! We arrived at our destination! And a beautiful woman by the name of Medea greeted me upon us disembarking.. what a sight to behold. We went to meet Aeëtes with Medea at my side, and we were all entertained as guests of honour. Time was getting on, and so I asked for the Golden Fleece and told Aeëtes of my plight. He agreed but on the condition I complete several tasks for him, including facing fire breathing bulls. I don’t really know what to do at this point because he explicitly said I must do these things myself…
Also what is with kings and asking me to complete tasks for them?

By chance we stumbled upon four men who turned out to be Phrixus’ sons. We asked them to join us in the quest for the golden fleece and they gladly agreed. We later found out that Phrixus had abandoned them in fear that they would try to take his kingdom away from him Its actually my kingdom though, but hey the enemy of my enemy is my friend right?

Bronze Birds
As we sailed to Colchis we came across some Stymphalian birds whose feathers were made of pointed bronze. They began to viscously attack us, and we knew from past experience how dangerous their feathers truly were. Luckily Amphidamas recalled how Heracles had driven them away previously. We began to make loud noises by beating our swords against our shield, and the birds began to leave immediately.

Clashing Rocks
Our next big challenge were huge rocks that floated on the water and pulled together and clashed in regular intervals, luckily Phineus had warned us about these and we released a dove to see if it could pass the rocks without being crushed. The dove managed to survive and we set sail intending to surpass the rocks as the dove had done.
Our timing must have been off, but thanks to the goddess Athena who lended a hand in a time of need, holding one of the clashing rocks in her hand and pushing us through with the other we managed to pass the rocks.

The Angry Blind Man
Our next stop was Thrace. We came across a blind man called Phineus, he told us the story of how he was a seer which Zeus was displeased with and as a result stole his sight and sent harpies to steal his food. He begged for our help to chase the harpies away in return he offered advice for the journey ahead.
We managed to kill a few of the harpies and chase the others away and gave assurances that they would never bother Phineus again. Phineus was very grateful and delivered on his promise and gave us strange advice about rocks.

Glaucus the sea god appeared as reassured us that we would still succeed without Heracles, and we should continue on our path as he had to complete his Twelve labours as this was his destiny.
We returned to the Argo at bit uneasy.

A Sad Day
I almost don’t want to report this, but I suppose I must;
Heracles managed to break his oar as we sailed along the Mysian coast, we stopped for him to cut a new oar and his squire went off to fetch some water. We had no idea that his squire was more than just a squire for Heracles, the squire managed to be pulled into the water by a water Nymph and couldn’t be found no matter how hard we looked. Heracles of course was distraught and disappeared soon after.
All the Argonauts and I are concerned because he is a crucial member of the team. He is yet to be seen…
