Mountain Dew History from thomas schmid on Vimeo.
Winter '09 BUCK headed up to the Pepsi headquarters to pitch Mountain Dew a spot for it's marketing during the spring. Our concept was to show how Mountain Dew had evolved throughout the years as a walk through time. The style was developped by myself and the legendary Josh Cochran, and produced using a mix of roto, cel animation, and 3d.

Milka Goodness '60 SSDC from Sam Southward on Vimeo.
Creating Milka's alpine wonderland was an exercise of pure escapism for me. From the early concepts through to the fully realised world, we wanted to achieve a detailed and tactile feel that would exude charm. Immersing viewers in this heartwarming miniature world and leaving them with a truly memorable moment.

'OBRED / RITE' from Poppy Jackson on Vimeo.

40-minute performance
Film by Lesley Ewen
Friday 3 June at 5 pm
A one time only event
Poppy Jackson is a renowned actionist artist, investigating themes around the performativity of the body through working with the female body itself as site. Celebrating the body through a rite of passing and transformation, her new piece presents an embodied ritual in action, in conjunction with the local architecture.
Developed from her work Site, which was part of the SPILL Showcase 2015, Rite spans poles of power and vulnerability. In activating public space, it critiques current societal attitudes towards the female body, drawing inspiration from the ancient figure of the Sheela-na-Gig who was previously installed above many church doorways.
'Thank you to Alistair Jackson for being such a wonderful dad, always so supportive and proud. Rest in peace.'

Rehousing Technosphere from Wang & Söderström on Vimeo.
This speculative animated film takes place on Earth in a distant future. It offers glimpses into how life forms adapt to a new planetary ecology. New species exploit a degrading layer of the planet’s crust by digging, foraging, and designing new homes. What is toxic for one species is a perfect habitat for another. Among the remnants of the Anthropocene, life moves.

KLIMAX from Bea Höller on Vimeo.
Klimax explores the topic of female masturbation in order to redefine the already negatively connoted image of the female sex and thus strives to create new aesthetic associations of femininity. Our main protagonist, Barbie, undergoes a process of transformation.
Like Alice in Wonderland, she is immersed in a magical world, a place of allure and delight.
It is a fantastic place that leads her to change little by little to free herself from her stiffness and oppression. Klimax is meant to show how unique and beautiful every woman's body is.
