Recycling in Denmark

In 1978, Denmark introduced laws to recycling, It was the first country in Europe with factories, in Denmark receive a lot of garbage from other countries.

The government are responsible for recycle and separate the rubbish, the local authorities have track transport to private companies.

People most separate glass, paper, plastic, cardboard, metal and food in different bags, there eleven types of bags, the home in Denmark are responsible for recycling.

Each type of material, have a price, this system is the ABC, because it depends on the material.

Type A: glass, cans = 1.00 DKK

Type B: plastic = 1.50 DKK

Type C: paper, cardboard = 1.00 DKK

People can pay the public transport with recycling bottles, its good to the environment, about twenty per cent use it system.

Differences in public transport in Bogotá and Medellín

The effectiveness of transport is different, because Bogotá is a big city, there live seven million people and there are fewer people in Medellin

Cleanliness is better in Medellín, the city takes care of the Metro using a program that teaches culture and behaviour to people, called "the metro culture", but Bogotá is worse because people damage public transport, they have the worst behaviour.

The effectiveness during peak hours is similar in Bogotá as in Medellín, there are many people who use transportation.

The price is different, the taxi and the metro in Medellín are more expensive than in Bogotá, but the service is better.

Accessibility is similar, Medellín has a metro, Cablemetro, Metro Bus and tram and Bogotá has Transmilenio, Sitp, Transmicable and cycle route.

I choices England, because it is a grand country, the culture and music are the better in the word. London is an important city is called the business city, the Royal family Britain live here is popular in the people the city has an underground, park, castles, and big ben.

The professional life is well, the architecture is great, London was built in 1st century, the river Tamesis was one the most important seaport in Europe. The important building is Shark, walkie-talkie, The Gherkin, Westminster Abbey and tower bridge.

The most architect’s famous studied in universities of England, like Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid and Peter Cook, them estudied in the Architectural Association School of Architecture.

Have you changed for good or bad?

From 2007 to 2009 I was attending high school, my classmates had me much respect, I was the oldest of the class and was a leader for them, In 2009 was the personero school, I was always well in arts classes and drawing, I don’t like chemistry and physics, I always got bad note, I liked the holidays with my colleagues we lived in a town then every day in the afternoon we were doing activities, I was in my first concerts of Rock Park in Jamiroquia and Soda Stereo, we went to San Andrés, swam in the sea, rise jet sky, drove a golf cart, I met amazing places, we drunk a lot of liquor and every day we were at parties, finally in 2009 I graduated, in 2010 between studying architectural design in the foundation San Jose, I had the opportunity to work and study in my first semester, I worked with my father one year, finish studying in 2 years and ended technologist, I studied a diploma in design processes, a teacher recommended me for a job with an architect I worked on Migration Colombia, in 2013 I began my studies in architecture at the Catholic University of Colombia, I worked in Escobar Construction Architecture, Company designs interiors for offices, I worked as a draftsman and I climbed charge up to designer and resident, the first semester in college was very difficult, work and study was heavy, I was willing to give up work , After the first semester the routine was improving, in mid-2014 I quit my job and started working in Inggea an architectural firm for a year, we design a tourist center in Barranquilla, the term contract and was out of work for three months, I was penniless and could not work, at college I was well, I had a difficult emotional crisis but could solve the problem, in 2015 all improved, already had a job in a company of engineers and currently work here, I studied a diploma in graphic design and midyear resume college, I met many people who have taught me so much, I'm currently in eighth semester, this year was very productive I had more time to do what I like, also make the English course in college and I am very happy because I improved the language, I have changed for good, he was always pouting and stressed out by people, I take it easy and think things through before saying them to not affect people, college and work have made me a better person, the study is essential to meet others.

My future plans

•       I’m going to keep working in Juligon foundation, a company that helps people, I am improving my experience make a building for the community.

•       Next year I’m going to work with UdeB, Is one of the best architectural firms in Colombia, I am very happy because it was very difficult to enter.

•       I’m going to finish class in 2018 to graduate, I want to be the best student of architecture, Every day work hard but learn new thing.

•       I’m going to study a master in the university college London, Is very cheap but it has the better professor.

•       I’m going to do my company, I want make investigation and helps the people, The money is not important for me.

•       I’m going to create a place to ride bicycle to La Calera, Motivate the people and practice this sport.

•       I’m going to work in BIG in Denmark, for me architecture company is the better, Its project are famous in the word.

•       I’m going to be an architect, I will go to Europe, know all important building also and learn other cultures.

I am studying architecture in the University Catholic of Colombia, i am in eighth semester, I am making the design of a contest.

I am working in Geofundaciones,it is a company of engineer that construct pilots and foundation for building and bridge.

I was working in Juligon foundation,a company that helps people, I am improving my experience make a building for the community.

I rise bicycle all the weekends during two a three hours, but in vacation I go the work in bicycle, I like because is very amusing.

I will finish class to graduate, I want be the best student of architecture every day work hard but learn thing new

Description of my house

I live in La Calera, my neighbors are nice and friendly, where I live houses are familiar with green areas, most of us have pets, in the neighborhood there is a toll, a gas station and a supermarket, the neighborhood name is Los Patios it is a very frequented by cyclists coming from Bogota, there sell fruits, juices and breakfast, my house has 3 floors, the first floor there is a kitchen, a bathroom, living room, dining room and stairs, the second floor there a hall, room and bathroom of my parents, and in the loft is the room of my brother and mine, in the house there is also a parking lot, green area and two terraces.

Under the Tuscan sun

Frances is a writer, she live in San Francisco, she learns that her husband has been cheating, she divorces and suffers a severe depression, she moves alone to a department, her best friend gives him a trip to Italy in the Tuscan village, the france’s department is cold and its neighbors are depressed, she makes the decision to go to Italy, On the tour she decides to live in the village and buy a house to an old woman, the france’s houses is old and need to remodel the place, she hires local workers to remodel your home.

When I was at school teachers motivated us to go to college, they taught me to be very clear that profession wants to study

-Which aspects did you like about it?

The architecture is my passion since my 15 years was very clear, it is a profession that requires much effort, commitment, creativity, time and love.

-Why did you decide to study this major in the university?

I decided to study at the Catholic University, because it is cheap and good, plus I do my primary in high school and what they are demanding and strict.

 -In your experience, the thing you learner in this major were similar to what you expected?

Yes, it was a good experience both personal and academic, faculty is good but must improve many things, the university has supported me but should be more open to students

My routines

I usually get up at 7:00 am, I shower and get dressed, always breakfast watching the news, my breakfast is usually eggs, chocolate and bread, I go to work Monday to Friday, I'm always late for city traffic but my boss scolds me sometimes, always get to do college work in the office, I never have time in my house, I always lunch at 12:30 pm with my colleagues, and occasionally go out to eat ice cream, I rarely leave the office late because I have to get there early to college, in college sometimes eat pizza, at 9:45 pm classes are over, I've never left at 10:00 pm. I got home at 11:00 pm, I see a little TV and go to sleep.

The gadgets in my life

I have a laptop with my laptop i can work architectural projects , I buy in February is new and very powerful , it has the latest technology to support design programs such as autocad, revit , suite adobe and others. but I can not take it with me every day because it is very heavy and can cause damage . I can not use to play because I do not like

In the office I can use my smarphone to chat with my friends about jokes and gossip , but we can not play loud music and take photographs . My smartphone is an iphone 4s it has a broken screen but I can not fix it because I have no money

In my room I have a TV 42 “ and an Xbox 360 , I like playing on Saturdays and Sundays , I invite my friends to play and we lasted hours playing with my xbox I can listen to music and watch movies , I can not watch cable TV and internet content , I live on a farm and the signal is bad . with the TV and the xbox i can laugh is very entertaining

My favorite food 

my favorite food is ajiaco, my mom prepares it as a chicken soup containing different types of potatoes and can be served with cream, corn cobs and capers, usually accompanied with a plate of rice and avocado, and my second favorite dish is the lasagna, I usually prepare at home, when I cook rice without salt it is always, but it's delicious, I like little eat hamburger, sandwiches and pizza. In the morning eat chocolate, eggs and bread, my mom makes lunch in the mornings, usually cooked, rice, vegetables and meat. And at night I drink coffee with biscuits, weekends go out to eat at different restaurants to try new flavors, my parents like to go to Crepes & Waffles, Wok, Paneroli, sometimes we go to town for lunch

GEOFUNDACIONES S.A.S is a Colombian engineering company the French company SOLETANCHE BACHY, his work is the construction of foundations and piles for buildings, structures, seaports and bridges.

In my group are 6 people, they are responsible for the technical department, they perform and supervise the calculations of foundations and soils for construction of buildings

In the company working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a lunch break, executive positions do not have a fixed schedule, and people working in the works its hours are Monday to Saturday.

Wages in the company are well paid, for general cargo received from 1-3 millions, for department directors 6-9 million and managers 16 millions, and the person who receives monthly earns 40 million
