Can y'all recommend me some nice Fizzmodeus fics cause I pretty much went through a lot of the 'major' fics on AO3 and I'm trying to look for more but it's hard cause even if I filter through tags I feel that I keep finding stuff unrelated and other sites are even worse with tagging lmao that or they just don't have enough fics. Didn't try Tumblr but again if you have recommendations, gimme. Any site really, I just want some nice juicy Fizzmodeus. Fluff, drama, everything in between, I love them. I'm currently caught up with Messy on AO3 it's fkin amazing (recommend) but while I'm waiting for updates I wanna fill my Fizzmodeus needs.

Waiting for "remember when Helluva was about murder" peoples to realize that starting off with a simple premise that deepens as the show progress is just how a series is written lmao

It's especially common for cartoons. Shows like Spooky Month, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, ROTTMNT, and Gumball all followed the same format. Have none of you ever heard someone say "the plot is thickening"?

A show is written differently than a movie. A show is longer, giving the writers the opportunity to take their time with it, have the audience get to know the characters and get attached to them, maybe write a beach day episode, then they can reserve the super intense stuff for later. That's why it often feels like the plot is so simple by the beginning of a series but so complex by the end. And sure, the creators will probably make it clear that a bigger idea is planned, but they won't start off with it. They'll let the audience breath first. They have the time to deepen the story later.

Helluva's uploading schedule may make it seem like the show has progressed more than it actually has.
