After several people showed an interest through the Official Hijack Discord we are doing Hijack Week Summer 2025! Although a bit later in the summer than usual, due to the spur of the moment decision.

Day 1 (Aug. 3): Childhood friends

Day 2 (Aug. 4): Role reversal AU (Hiccup as a spirit and/or Jack as a viking)

Day 3 (Aug. 5): Dragon Warlord Hiccup and Prince Jack (Jack is sent as tribute/arranged marriage/peace treaty arrangement)

Day 4 (Aug. 6): "Please don't leave me"

Day 5 (Aug. 7): Myths/Folklore

Day 6 (Aug. 8): Love letters

Day 7 (Aug. 9) Cursed immortality (One lives forever, one doesn't but is reincarnated)

Runner up: Wings

As usual we are accepting a wide range of submissions, including fanfics, art, animated music videos, music playlist, digital photo manipulations. Basically anything you can create based on our two lovable dorks. On the day listed for each prompt upload your submission through your tumblr page and make one of your first tags "hijack week" and we will reblog it onto the hijack week page! If you do not have a tumblr you can send a link to your submission to us and we will make a post about it for you. For those unfamiliar the "Runner Up" option is one extra prompt for anyone who might not be able to find inspiration in the main 7 prompts, or if you just like it more than the others. a continuation to this one, where jack falls in love with hic and becomes a mortal

i’ll continue my rambling in here so the post wont be too long but jacks sleeve and the little fabric wall piece read lyrics of for the dancing and the dreaming

here jack is fully a mortal, his hair and eyes back to their original colour. he lost his powers, but he doesn’t care. for the first time in three hundred years he is living. and hiccup knows every once in a while, jack’ll breathe out some snowflakes while he snores so he has that :’)

jacks and toothless’s (and hiccups) favourite thing is flying, and they could do it all day every day. those moments are first ones where jack starts falling for hiccup (hic’s already way gone for the pretty winter spirit)

Hii hijack community!! Been wanting to open up a blog to introduce a project I and others are working on. An OTNWAS visual novel! This is just a fun little collaborate project we’ve been slowly working on in our free time, but we wanted to be able to share our progress with you!

When will it be released?

It depends! Since this is a fan project, it isn't our main priority. We all have very busy lives, but we try to dedicate time to the VN when we're able to. Hopefully we can keep a consistent schedule, but we don't make any guarantees.

Will it be an actual game or just released on tumblr as a webcomic?

Kae is developing the visual novel using the Renpy engine, which will mean you can download and play it! We intend for it to be a completely interactable experience, and we want to bring it to life as best we can :)
