Weird/Dumb UF Comments from Across the Years

Feeling spicy and nostalgic for some of the bullshit I've had to put up with both in the old UF era and the new so I figured I'd compile some of the most insane and pathetic comments I've gotten on the fic (and on other fics about UF because people are really that dumb) and share them with you because some of these you really can't make up. These people speak for themselves in the way they act about a goddamn fanfiction of all things, so have a whole bunch of them (some with context, some without) for your enjoyment. Mind you these are primarily from across FF.net, AO3, tumblr asks, and DeviantArt, most of them are anon comments because Cowardice, and all of them are 100% fucking real things I've gotten in the past and had to look at with my own eyes so now you do too. So with that said, Let's go:

I do definitely disagree with the "Steven should have shattered White Diamond" argument, but I also disagree with "Oh the diamonds are Just A Metaphor, you're not supposed to take them as literal dictators". Like yes they are a metaphor for a conservative family, but you should very much also read them as dictators, because they are. It's not an accident that Steven spared the life of a dictator. The show is taking a principled stance against punitive justice.

It's presenting you with the worst person imaginable, one who has done harm on scales personal to galactic, and saying "killing this person is still something we should not want to do." If we can remove White from power while sparing her life, if we can put her to use undoing what she has done, that would be preferable to killing her, no matter her crimes.

And a lot of people just didn't want to hear that.

So yeah, here we have the first of our new Universe Falls chapter promos! I gotta say, this format is honestly pretty enjoyable for chapter hype building. Its just fun to do something that's only barely related to a chapter, but still features characters and elements from it idk this is cute.

Magic and Mystery Meet Again... in Universe Falls

WE ARE SO BACK BABES! SO EXCITED THAT NEW UF'S COVER IS DONE! Honestly it was so much fun to work on this, to get my head back into thise world with these characters. Now that this is done, I feel like I'm finally ready to push on with the fic and get it off the ground for ya'll.

For those of you not in the know... Universe Falls is a crossover between Gravity Falls and Steven Universe, where the events of both shows happen concurrently. Originally posted back in 2015, new UF is a ground-up rewrite/reboot/revival, condensed down quite a bit with a heavier emphasis on original content and improved writing. It'll be coming soon to an A03 near you! (I'll add the link to this post once it's up).

So keep an eye out, everyone. Universe Falls is about to begin again... :3

i just had the funniest experience in vr chat, i joined a random server and the one i joined had Japanese people so i waddled around in my goofy club penguin avatar that i have saved, after a while a guy walks up to me and clones my avatar so were both penguins then another guy shows up and clone my avatar

now keep in mind there only speaking Japanese i don’t know what they are saying, then another guy joins in, so i got a group of three penguin friends

we just waddle around and goof about, the one of them tries to talk to me, but not only do i not have a mic i also don’t speak Japanese, they figure out i don’t speak Japanese and start listing various places, they get the part of being European right, and after listing a lot of places they ask if im from the UK and when i nod they all just start cheering. after hanging out for a while one of them gets real close to me and whispers…
