This person drove into the parking lot going the wrong way and thus was having a hard time getting into the slanted parking spot. I watched them back in and out of the spot over and over again trying to get between the lines. This was the end result. Perfect. No notes.

There were potato chips in the crow water when I came home from shopping. Still have no idea where they’re getting this stuff. As I was going in and out with groceries the crows were scrambling to snatch the chips up… as if they were afraid I’d steal their soggy snacks…

Yeah! So I wasn't previously familiar with PopMart, but they just opened on at my local mall. They have really nice high quality figures but the majority (or all of them?) are sold blind box. This is the full set:

I really wanted that Scrooge McDuck. Sweet baby Jaymz had a crush on this old man duck for some reason haha... Must've been the spectacles and spats. But anyway... Out of the set there were like 5 figures (other than Scrooge) that I wouldn't have minded pulling and I was super fortunate to not only avoid getting duplicates but also not some of the uglier ones I didn't want, haha. But I fear the odds are stacked against me now so I found a reasonably priced Scrooge on Mercari. Now we wait...

Still no Scrooge McDuck… 💀 at this point I think I’ll have to resort to trying to find one on eBay because 1. They raised the price of these figures and 2. It’s a miracle I haven’t gotten duplicates. The odds are highly against me now…

Nermal crossed the rainbow bridge. We are beyond gutted and heartbroken. We will miss him so much. Good journey my fat sausage, I hope you are with Sweet Spots & Raikou now and I can see you all again someday. I love you. 💕

Nermal is scheduled for home euthanasia tomorrow at noon. I am extremely sad and am planning to take the weekend off from work to grieve. I will be back to commissions next week, thank you all so much for your patience and support. 💕

Nermal is home. His labs & ultrasound were notably worse today so we’re just going to keep him comfortable until his quality of life declines. Not sure how long we’ll have with him but I’ll give him all the kisses & snuggles. Right now he’s just napping in the catio, I’m sure he missed the sun.

I visited with Nerms and talked to the doctor. Unfortunately it was not good news. He has a large something obstructing his kidney tube but they don’t know what exactly. Mineral? Tumor? Not good treatment options and he’s not a good candidate for surgery. So our only last ditch effort option is to have them give him some sort of relaxer and hope maybe he can pass whatever’s in his tubes. If he shows no improvement in labs and ultrasound tomorrow he comes home for hospice (however long he remains comfortable) before euthanasia.

I wish I had better news to report but unfortunately that’s where we’re at.
