Hiya everyone! Wow it’s been a while since I’ve made a serious post ummmmm please ignore that! Here’s my formal apology (/silly) and explanation for my absence, as well as a potential plan for the future!

So I started this account because of a revelation that tumblr would be the best place to find Life Series fan content. And I was correct! However, uh, I unfortunately have not been hyperfixating on the Life Series, or Joel Smallishbeans at all recently- About 6 months was how long my Joel hyperfixation lasted, and now it’s pretty much in hibernation again. I’ve mostly been hyperfixated on Wallows, as well as my own ocs. I still love Joel, but I haven’t really been watching him recently. It feels strange, but it is how my hyperfixations go.

I did also plan for this account to post whatever I was hyperfixated on, and now that the primary hyperfixation has shifted from Joel to a new one, being Wallows ofc, I want to move forward posting more Wallows and oc content. Mainly oc art, cus unfortunately (from what I’ve seen) Wallows doesn’t really have much art content in the fan base. Obviously, I am cringe and I am free so that won’t stop me, but art may be few and far between. All my old posts will stay up, but I also plan to revamp my account a bit, maybe organize things into past/present hyperfixation content. Not totally sure yet, but we’ll see. I definitely don’t want to quit, coming to tumblr has been great, I just wanna let people know that my content is shifting to a different fandom.

Who knows if I’ll come back to Joel sometime soon? One thing I want to do is work on a new chapter for all of my fics so at least I can also mention the shift on there.

I apologize for disappearing, and I hope to be back to posting soon. Art motivation has been slowly coming back as well, so that’s a good sign! Thank you for sticking with me, and I appreciate you if you stay for the non Life Series/Joel content. Thanks for reading this, I tried to keep it short but god knows I’m a yapper.

LAST BOOK: I put down Fortune's Bazaar: The Making of Hong Kong by Vaudine England last autumn when work got busy, and haven't picked it back up yet. I am trying to get back into it this week.

LAST SHOW: I am catching a particularly trashy drama with my mum on TV. It's just...spectacularly badly written we watch it just to tear it to shreds.

So I was brainstorming Jimmy design ideas and then saw people saying he should be a pink flower elf and so I (as anyone would do) thought of making him a pink hippie. Oh and a fish. Cus cod boy and why not

He looks much better irl, but y’know. Also best body of 2025 drawn let’s go. Also also first time drawing an accurate cod tail for this guy (he’s an Atlantic cod cus that’s the first thing I could find a ref for)

Also he may not be accurate to real hippie fashion but I drew this at school so no reference on that so.

Gang does anyone have any tips for watching povs of smps/series that aren’t your blorbo? I need to watch more Misadventures but like Joel’s on it so I’m struggling to watch the others cus I can’t just keep rewatching Joel’s dies

So far I’ve been able to watch Lizzie, Jimmy, Martyn, Scott, Sausage, and obviously Joel but like I need to consume more content but I couldn’t even get through watching fWhip’s ToT (for context: that’s unusual because I have gone through periods of time where all I wanted to watch was either Joel or fWhip and I’d watch fWhip’s hardcore series on repeat if Joel hadn’t posted anything new but I can’t even finish that one video-)

I love when listening to songs gets you to look up their meanings. It really makes you like the song even more.

For example, I was listening to Wallows (as one does) and I decide to look up lyrics and meanings. All of ‘em are pretty close to what I interpret them as, EXCEPT for Guitar Romantic Search Adventure and Pictures of Girls. AND OH MY GOSH I am so happy I did this I now have a newfound love for Pictures of Girls that I never thought would happen

So anyways yeah if you like a song or an artist go hyper analyze the lyrics or learn the meaning behind it. It’s awesome! :3
