As of now, Florida and Kansas have passed bills that align with KOSA.

So many people have held back on speaking out against KOSA or signing petitions because "it probably won't pass." But we have proof that it very well can and will.

So what can we do right now?

The same thing we've been doing: bring awareness and protest.

Luffy's Impact

I was thinking about it and I think i realized why the Gum Gum fruit chose Luffy, why Luffy is the inheritor of Joy Boy's will. He doesn't bring smiles to people's faces because he's Joy Boy, but that he's Joy Boy because he brings smiles to people's faces. Think about it, think about his crew.

A pirate hunter whose best friend died after they promised to each other that one of them would become the best swordsman in the world, a sniper whose father left him as a child while he had to watch his mother waste away from disease.

A thief whose island was taken over by the same person who killed her mother and then forced her to work for him. A Chef who was abused and abandoned by his birth family only to almost starve to death with his real father.

A reindeer who was ostracized by his pack for being different, and then almost killed by humans for the same reason. A woman who has been hunted for her entire life since she was a child all for the fact that the government wants to cover up the truth of what happened 800 years ago.

A cyborg who loved building ships but then had his foster father killed for a crime committed by those in power using his own creations. A skeleton who has been living on a ghost ship for 50 years with nothing more than the memories of his dead friends and a dream to one day reunite with a whale.

A fishman who fought against racism and slavery all his life only to see the one man he looked up to die because he couldn't accept a human's blood and the beloved Queen who wished for coexistence killed by his own kind for no reason other than to continue the cycle of hatred.

All of these people have many different reasons to loathe the world and its unfairness, to let their bitterness and hatred consume them, but Luffy find them, he gathers them together, and he gives them all a reason to smile, to laugh, to be happy. Rather than let their resentment stew he makes them want to be better people, and that is precisely why Luffy is Joy Boy, not anybody else.

Drunk Homura

Considering how long she was in the time loop it wouldn't surprise me if Homura tried out different things just for the hell of it, like alcohol. Imagine if one timeline Homura just decided to try drinking and then she suddenly shows up to the group super drunk because she had a hard time judging her tolerance and just picked up Kyubey by the scruff and shook him while ranting about how big a piece of shit he is. Just imagining Homura going into a drunken rampage makes me laugh.

One Piece Theory

Not long ago, while reading the latest chapters of One Piece, somebody pointed out that the reason Kizaru seemed so weak was because Haki is based on willpower and Kizaru was doubting himself. That really got me thinking about the power structure in One Piece. I always figured that the Admirals would be weaker than the Yonko for many reasons, but this observation really added credibility to my theory. There's a reason why Roger was stronger than anybody else, and it was haki. Kaido said it himself, haki is everything, and haki is based on willpower. Roger, more than anyone else in the world at the time, had the strongest willpower and so had the strongest haki. That's also why no marine will ever match up to the yonko, and why I believe it is almost impossible for a marine to have conqueror's haki, because they bend to other people's will. They allow the Celestial Dragons and the Five Elders to control them, thus giving up their own will for someone else's, weakening their own and, by extension, their haki. That's why pirates, who live more freely than any other, are far more likely to have conqueror's haki.

Imagine cutting humanitarian aid to any country around the world without batting an eyelash. People at their most vulnerable -who are being massively ethnically cleansed and displaced -who are being permanently disabled because of destructive bombings and with whom will probably have little to no resources to help them manage these disabilities their entire lives, who have been and are at the brink of starvation and death... this is what these western/European countries are doing instead of the bare minimum which is a ceasefire.

Albeit it's not a surprise to me (or most of us) since settler-colonial and imperial countries like the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK have notorious histories of genocides against Indigenous people and have been (and currently are) perpetrators of imperial violence.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency provides basic assistance for people -and to deny that life-saving help to Palestinian people (because we know what this is about) is aligning with IOF terrorism -and it undeniably makes these governments all equally complicit.

My MP's office is closed on weekends but I'll be calling and emailing her, and then emailing genocidal apologist Trudeau. Call and/or email your representatives. This is beyond heinous. I truly don't think these governments could sink any lower -be any more evil, and then they do and it's beyond disgraceful.
