Remember when Rhysand told Cassian to get Nesta out of the city before he kills her? That was so sexy of him

And personally for me I can understand why Rhys treated her somewhat poorly, he really tried to respect her in my opinion, but after circumstance after circumstance his leash on that slipped. He had already been upset with her and said that her letting Feyre hunt on her own so young. So maybe it’s just me, but I can understand why Rhys was the way he was towards Nesta.
There is no problem with Nesta telling her sister the truth about her pregnancy, what IS WRONG is the way in which she did it and the reason behind why she did it.
She didn’t do it because she felt like Feyre should know. She didn’t do it because telling her sister was the right thing to do. In fact she originally agreed to the idea of lying to her sister and promised not to say anything.
She did it to lash out and hurt Amren, Feyre, and the rest of the inner circle because she was hurting
Her reason behind what she did was cruel.
Now I like nesta enough, I love her growth. I think she punishes herself too hard, I think Rhysand (who I adore) treats her poorly most of the time, and I think she’s got a great story, but I’ll never buy into the Nesta did the right thing while the inner circle didn’t.
Nesta did the right thing for the wrong reasons. That doesn’t make her a hero. She promised to lie to her sister and broke it when it suited her.
That also doesn’t make the inner circle doing the wrong thing for the right reason okay either.
In this everyone is wrong. Doesn’t make anyone irredeemable or better or worse then the others.

I decided to draw Hudson and Jaxon Vega from the Crave series, or at least how I pictured them. :)

since y'all keep forgetting, a reminder that Rhysand fought on the human side to ensure their freedom from slavery in the war, he sacrificed his body to protect his people, he kept sacrificing his body if it meant he could help other courts and amarantha's victims, he created a safety net in the house of wind library for women SA survivors, he ordered the illyrian army to start training women, he put himself in the front lines of any battles to relieve some of the burden of attack from the rest of the soldiers, he was the only highlord that cared about the human realm and grouped the other highlords together to save humans from hybern.
is he the epitome of activism for women's rights, equality and etc? no but he sure as hell is way better than half the characters because he's at least trying and DOING something.

I can’t 🤣🤣🤣
Sometimes I forget about the age difference between Rhys and Feyre and that they probably have conversations like:
Rhysand: That’s not a real word.
Feyre: It is. It means very good.
Rhysand: Say it again.
Feyre: Dope.
Rhysand:…
Rhysand: I swear that you young people are inventing new words every day…

GEEZ my heart 😭😭
No one made a move to help him, and she struck him once more with her power. The red marble splintered where he hit it, spiderwebbing toward me. With wave after wave she hit him. Rhys groaned.
“Stop,” I breathed, blood filling my mouth as I strained a hand to reach her feet. “Please.”
Rhys’s arms buckled as he fought to rise, and blood dripped from his nose, splattering on the marble. His eyes met mine.
The bond between us went taut. I flashed between my body and his, seeing myself through his eyes, bleeding and broken and sobbing.
I’m just. Going to curl into a ball and cry myself to sleep okay? “No one made a move to help him” is just so…painful yet justified on their parts. Rhys has carved out this place for himself, this no-man’s land. And it’s what I talked about before with the question of how far he went and whether it was ever too far. And he walks an incredibly thin line here to truly fall in a neutral zone whereby no-one will help him…but they won’t help Amarantha either. But he’s alienated himself and I wonder about that over the last 50 years. With no allies but no real enemies either. Just emptiness. It’s not difficult to see how Feyre and Rhys bond so closely in ACOMAF with the similar experiences that they’ve had.
And I also love that the follow-up to this, to Feyre realising that no-one was helping Rhys…is to reach out and help him herself. Amarantha has shattered her bones at this point, tortured her far beyond anything she’s ever endured…and she lies on the floor, bloody and battered and exhausted and she asks her to stop…She asks her to stop hurting Rhys.
There’s some really painful parallels going on here? Rhys slaved for Amarantha for fifty years and didn’t dream of killing her for himself. He didn’t pick up that dagger for himself. He was content to let Tamlin have that final kill; he’d already told Feyre that. He picked it up for Feyre. He picked it up for his mate. Amarantha hurting Feyre was what pushed him into action. And that’s just. So important for their dynamic. Rhys saves Feyre in ACOMAF. But as I’ve said before, she’s already saved him in ACOTAR.
And I love that it’s at this moment that Feyre becomes fully aware of that bond and how closely it binds her to Rhys. She still thinks it’s the bargain, the tattoo, but she feels it in this moment. As they reach for each other. As these two neutral people, the ones that weren’t worth either helping or harming beyond what was happening, these two battered, broken souls made to feel worthless by the world, who won’t lift a finger to defend themselves, reach for each other, help each other and take that first step together down a very long road to healing.

Fenrys: We should really stop buying plastic skeletons for Halloween, it's bad for the environment .
Aelin: You're right, we should go for all natural, locally sourced skeletons.
Rowan: Just to be sure, are you suggesting grave-robbing or murder?
Aelin: I am not picky.

No one talks about how in ACOSF whenever Feyre was dying, Azriel AND Cassian, BOTH WITH SEVEN SIPHONS, where having a hard time holding Rhysand back. 14 SIPHONS!!! His love for Feyre amazes me…

I wish people would just enjoy what sjm publishes. The community has become toxic and is knit-picking every little thing she does. When ACOSF came out, I was just excited she put out another book but a lot of people were being cruel because of a bunch of random irrelevant things. Can’t we just be happy with more content? 😭 I hate posts that comment crap like “if she was a better writer,” she came up with the whole ACOTAR series, the ToG series, and the CC series!!! I’d say that’s pretty freaking good!! (Plus she created freaking Rhysand and Rowan, and a character like Aelin) ANYWAYS I just wish there was a little more appreciation and a little less knit-picking but maybe that’s just me 🤷‍♀️
