Done with this. Finished on my way home from the beach. Title: How May I Offend You Today? By: @whoasusannahblog Susannah B. Lewis It was cute. A lot more religious references than I expected, but every story was relatable in some way. Mrs. Lewis is very sassy and funny that's for sure. She has a lot of great advice when it comes to raising kids and life in general. I believe in God, but I'm not as religious as I was in my younger years as far as leaning on scripture and such. I believe you can talk to God and not have to be fully devoted to going to church or quoting scriptures. Don't get me wrong though...I am NOT putting people down that rely on those things. I am a firm believer of "you do you and I'll do me" when it comes to one's Faith. I will never stop being fascinated by growing things. Some bulbs I thought might be dead...came back! (First pick) Been getting blooms here and there in Khloe's wildflower mix, even though they got pounded in the rain. And we are finally getting some buds for possible veggies on the tomato plants and the eggplant. I hope they stay warm today cause it's a little chilly this morning. Finally finished book 3! Sooo good. Can't wait to get into and finish books 4 and 5. These have been a much needed escape from real life whether it was for a brief 15 minutes or a couple/few hours. 11/10 would recommend to anyone who loves Sci-fi/Fantasy mixed together. At least that's how I categorize it in my head from what I have read so far. After finishing book 3 of this series I had to share with everyone! Full of dynamic characters some that you love and others that you love to hate. I can't get enough of this world that Martin Parece has created. I am wanting to know why more people aren't reading this series. Felt really motivated this weekend. Got a few things done that I have been planning to do.....FINALLY! Here's just one that I got actual progress picks of. Even though I forgot to get a before pick of Khloe's bed. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Whatever, all that matters is I got it done. I had been eyeing pallets at work for the perfect one that would help me accomplish this project and finally got one that was a little too long but was easy to cut down to size. . . . . If any one wants to buy me a miter saw and a work bench work Christmas it will be on my Wish List...lmao. Needless to say...my arms, legs, and back are all sore from the manual/non-electric sawing I was doing. But Khloe loves that her mattress is lower now so my hard sweaty work paid off. I am glad my dad taught me the skills needed to get this project done. I have seen someone else post on his page now so I wanted to get on and share some memories of my own. I will always remember this whole trip like it was yesterday. The road trip there, the inside jokes that will last a life time, the food (fried cheese curds), earning my nickname Packerella, and being with friends that became my Packers family! These people have become a staple in my life and we lost one of those family members last week. I still feel like it just can't be. The tears come in waves as I look back at memories from games and other events we all attended together as the Packers Gang or otherwise. As I go through those memories, I start to realize that I will never see his kind face and experience his always jovial personality at any Packer gatherings or other hang outs. But back to these photos, Phil wearing Nick's Helmet, then him in front of the Curly Lambeau statue, getting ready before the game with me practicing my Aaron Rodgers photo bomb skills, and then some of the Packers Family together. Phil along with all the other guys that year made my first ever trip to Lambeau so special. Everytime after that for the past 8ish years, Phil was always the brightest light in the room at any hang out. Always welcoming to new potential friends. Always made you feel like everything you said was important and worth hearing. Now he's up in the Big Cheesehead Mansion in the sky with his buddy Bart Starr. Miss him so much already.
