I used to scoff at conservatives using phrases like "oppression olympics" but that shit is actually true. Liberalism is obsessed with competing for oppression and constantly leveraging one's supposed marginalized status against each other in order to silence valid criticism or discourse. It really is a "vulnerability fetish" as Catherine Liu said. Like social justice and intersectionality are important but it has gotten to a level of absurdity where you can't interact with anyone on a real level without fear of offending them. Or if you don't fear offending them, then you end up alienating them.

We really need an "anti-liberal left".
