How you used ICTs to be part of a social movement, change, or illustrate aspects of digital citizenship?

As digital natives, we encounter different topics and discussions online. With the use of ICTs, we are able to be part of various social movements. Filipinos are one of the active users of internet around the world. So active that even the smallest piece of information tends to be a big deal when conversation and exchange of ideas occur. I am one of those who have different social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, where I find different topics where I learn from and even share my own ideas too.

Opinions are great way of opening conversation within the online community. Various topics and issues are often debatable almost everywhere in social media. There is nothing wrong to share your thoughts with others, just make sure that you are not stepping on others' ideas and feelings. It is nice to exchange thoughts with other people, you get to share what you know, you get to share your thoughts and feelings, and you get to learn from others as well.

ICTs should make our life better by conversing within the online community harmoniously. The keyword is, we just need to respect each other. We have to be accountable of what we share and post online. We should be aware of the dos and don'ts of the online world.

How you use ICT today and how you will use it tomorrow?

You would probably agree with me when I say that ICT plays a vital role in our lives, that it would be difficult to face each day if ICT didn’t exist. As for me, I use ICT almost all throughout the day. I connect with different people by using my gadgets through Internet Connection. But there are some point when I ask myself, do I really use ICT well?

Nowadays, people tend to be blinded of the things they see from their gadgets' screens. Like me, there are moments when I easily get carried away by what I read, watch, and hear over the internet, that sometimes I don’t even dare to ask if it is true, I just easily accept these ideas. I know that as a digital native, I must be aware of the proper use of the internet particularly the social media, where almost all of us interact. What you post online easily spreads out. With just one click, millions even billions of people would be able to see what one posts about. So, before I click on something, I should always remind myself that I should be accountable of the things I post.

It is a sad truth that fake news easily spread over the online community. If this is the way we use ICT now, what will happen tomorrow? How about the following years? It is important that we should know the proper etiquette of how we use ICT for us to have a better life, not a bitter one.

One of the best moments I’ve encountered in the year 2017, was when my special someone and I had a bond in a Carnival or what-so-called PERYA 🙈. It was an enjoyful and an unforgettable experience for me because of she was there 😍. We enjoyed having different rides and tried some activities in that place. That time was so unexpected. I, together with my friends, had our first ever adventure at Canding, San Clemente Tarlac. And that experience became one of my highlights in year 2017. That moment was so memorable. I enjoyed it so much- that I have tried to cliff dive in over 10ft-deep river 💪 and have lesser videos for my vlog haha. So here is my second vlog!
