Day #170/365: A conversation I had today with a leader reminded me again how people like Julia make us better. I was so blessed by the reminder that I picked up my pen and started writing. Hope to get it to you soon. Stay tuned!

Day #167/365: We dealt with a few waves of “school year’s end” emotion over the weekend. It’s pretty amazing how Julia feels a loss of connection – even if temporary. The good news is we picked up a pretty happy kid from summer camp today, so all is well.

Day #165/365: I don’t shoot weddings – I officiate them. But when I have the groom and his boys waiting for things to get started, I will definitely pull out my camera. Congratulations, William and Kaitlyn! #PastorWithACamera

Day #163/365: We would be remiss if we didn’t celebrate Joe Courage, who guided Julia through all three years of middle school. The man lives up to his name every day, navigating an LRC class of energetic and crazy kids; but he was always honest and collaborative through it all. He’s another example of why good teachers should all have six figure incomes and we should treat public schools like cathedrals. #BPSLearners

Day #161/365: This is our girl – doing eighth grade graduation as she does life. Hands held high in exuberance and cheering herself along. We could all take a page from that… #AdventuresOfJulia #HighSchoolHereSheComes #BPSLearners 🍁

Day #157/365: I came upon this intriguing street image this morning. It turns out it was my friend Min, so the ask for a shot was easy. It wouldn’t have mattered. I would’ve seriously chatted up for the shot!
