takeshi bites into his food and looks up trying to remember when he started to fight less, “i hired a bodyguard so i really haven’t been fighting lately, just doing regular business…but maybe since a few months after higanbana did i stop fighting i mean they all do the ground work. i trained them and now i just fight when i need to but…i have no real interest in it anymore.” truthfully takeshi didn’t even care for being a leader of a gang anymore he had just done it because others had asked him to and it was a good past time. takeshi kicks at jeongmin’s chair when he teases him, “well obviously you must like it just as much if you are going for seconds.” takeshi used to always make minnie lunch when they were growing up, he knows minnie likes his food, wither that or minnie is just that good of an actor. “yeah four whole weddings and luckily three were small,” takeshi sighs, “the last one was a huge ass order. she wanted around $20,000 worth of flowers.” takeshi finishes off his onigiri and grabs another, “its too far away, honestly we should have just moved in together.” now that takeshi thinks about it, its weird that they don’t. he smiles when hearing jeongmin laugh, but frowns when he hears him say princess. “one day i’ll kill you for calling me that,” takeshi deadpans, but there is a barely visible blush adorning his cheeks. “my dear prince,” takeshi says mockingly, in a sweet tone imitating the voice of a disney princess, “are you going to save me from being locked up in this castle?” takeshi gestures to his apartment, “where ever will you be taking me?” 

          bodyguard. the very word was enough to still jeongmin for a couple seconds. no one just gets a bodyguard unless there’s a threat of danger, he doesn’t care what takeshi says or how he explains it. it’s enough to put him on edge again. “right.” jeongmin said, unsure how to contribute to the conversation. he never liked what takeshi does, not now, not ever. he believes wholeheartedly that takeshi can take care of himself, but he wishes it would stop. “might go in for thirds,” jeongmin said, glad for the subject change as he reached for another, “i miss your cooking, it’s too bad we hardly find time to spend together.” what with takeshi working both of his jobs and min up to his neck with projects at work and clients on the side, it’s hard to find time for his favorite boy. “that’s too fucking much,” he laughed, feeling a little stunned that someone would want that many flowers for a single day. “hopefully people take arrangements home, you’re flowers are too pretty to only be used for a day.” jeongmin personally loves having some of takeshi’s flowers to add to his apartment with haeju, be it for the dining table or his room. “we should have, but i moved out first and haeju, well, i honestly don’t know how i ended up with him,” he smiled, fondly. he loves his roommate though, even if he likes to tease him and call him a burden. “aw, did i offend the princess?” he continued, teasing him just to get a reaction. and that he did, noticing the light tint of color on his cheeks, it made his heart flutter. “but of course, i have to steal you away before the dragon returns.” he played along, standing up whilst grabbing his water bottle, “that is for me to know and you find out. grab a sweater, your highness. we’re off.”

          jeongmin could only stare at her for a minute before he let out a laugh. “i’m sorry, i don’t mean to laugh,” he said, shaking his head, “i just go whiplash from everything you said.” he felt like he was talking to the embodiment of a finsta. ‘are you game’, he couldn’t believe it. “alright, i’ll go. don’t worry about paying for my drinks, i just have one question considering your baby-face, you’re old enough right?” he teased, “don’t want to get arrested if i buy you a drink and your id turns out to be fake.”

itoshiis‌:

when takeshi hears min sigh his name like that he playfully closes his eyes, expecting the worst. but the second min calls him ridiculous and says he loves him, takeshi opens one eye to peak at jeongmin’s expression glad to see its softening. takeshi let’s out a breath and watches jeongmin sit down. takeshi isn’t a very touchy person in all honesty but he’s known jeongmin since kindergarten and well it was min so. looking back at it how touchy and close they are with just each other probably was why so many people thought they were together. takeshi walks up behind the now sitting jeongmin and wraps his arms over his shoulders, resting his head on top of jeongmin’s. “i love you too. sorry for worrying you,” he tightens his hold around min, “i really don’t fight like that anymore i promise.” takeshi speaks gently and then moves away, missing the warmth of jeongmin. takeshi heads to his fridge retrieving a plastic container and two water bottles. he takes off the container’s lid and goes back to the table pulling a chair across from min and placing the container and the waters on the table. “I made onigiri if you want some. it’s the one my mom makes with the salmon inside,” takeshi takes one of his own and bites at it, “well i had work and i closed early because i had four weddings i had to make arrangements for and after i did i was tired. so then i watched tv and then i was like i miss min so i messaged you. now entertain me, court jester.” takeshi let’s out a playful laugh.  

          his eyes fluttered close when takeshi wrapped his arms around him, humming softly as he listened to the boy above him speak. “since when?” he asked, opening his eyes once takeshi left and instantly yearning for his touch again. however, jeongmin feels like he should have noticed takeshi doesn’t fight as often, after all he hasn’t been called to tend to him ( unless of course someone else is assisting him which he doubts ). “oh.” jeongmin looked at the container in awe, surprised to see this particular dish again. “does it taste just like your mom’s though?” he teased, grabbing one after takeshi and examining before taking a bite. the moment the flavor hit his tongue, he wonders if it’s biased of him to say that this is better than what they had growing up. he finished his, going in for another as takeshi told him about his day, nodding along as he ate. “four weddings?” jeongmin asked, reaching for his water bottle with a pained expression on his face, “how big are the orders?” he knows how tedious and time consuming making arrangements can be, having used to hang out a lot at the flower shop when he had more time to himself being able to relax and keep takeshi company as often as he wanted. “cute, you missed me, i’m literally five floors up and you can’t come see me?” jeongmin laughed at the ‘court jester’, shaking his head as he uncapped his water. “of course, whatever you want, princess.” after taking a quick drink, he looked around, coming to the conclusion that no, they’re not going to stay indoors for a second longer. “eat up, takeshi. i’m taking you out tonight, i’ve been stuck inside too long too, i think some nighttime air can do us both some good.”

upon hearing the knocks on his door, takeshi gets up from the couch in a hurry knowing his minnie is waiting for him. minnie was the only person that takeshi ever felt genuinely happy seeing. he swings the door open, a radiant smile that’s almost reserved for minnie graces his face. “hey minnie-” takeshi cuts himself off when he feels something’s off and sees the med kit in under jeongmin’s arm, “why did you bring that?” there’s no malice in takeshi’s question just curiosity. min has always been the one who tended his wounds but takeshi hasn’t fought in a long time. not that minnie really knows exactly what takeshi does. takeshi walks away from the door and towards the kitchen hoping that minnie would follow him, “i texted you ‘help me, i’m bored’ and you brought a med kit? wait..you did get my i’m bored message right? shit.” takeshi pauses and reaches for his phone is his back jean pocket and checks. his ‘i’m bored’ message didn’t send. minnie’s going to kill him. he slowly turns towards jeongmin with his hands up, “this is so awkward but you love me so…forgive me?” 

          “i’m sorry, what?” was the first thing out of his mouth upon hearing that his call for help had been, in fact, not because takeshi was injured but because he was bored. jeongmin pulled out his phone, clearly the message had never sent and he, being used to those particular words meaning something else entirely, thought he had bruises to tend to. “takeshi --” he sighed, closing his eyes for a second, breathing and exhaling out the slight agitation he felt before proceeding to follow the other inside, closing the door behind them. there was a bit of relief flooding him though, glad he wasn’t injured in any way. “you’re absolutely ridiculous,” jeongmin says, but it’s soft, “of course i love you.” despite how he’s feeling at the moment, jeongmin is always soft for the other even if he does feel like murdering him for the worry he caused him that he hadn’t felt in a while. “maybe, text everything in one message next time, yeah? so i don’t show up like fool with my nurse kit.” there was a bit of humor in his voice, pulling a chair out as he took a seat, leaning back whilst placing his hand on the table. “i’m glad you’re okay though, it’s been nice not having to clean you up lately.” there was a hint of a smile, despite his previous mood, he could feel it shifting into something more pleasant. takeshi seems to have that affect on him. “now, why are you bored? what have you been doing all day?”

          draping himself across the velvet couch, jeongmin sighed, feigning annoyance as he waited for haeju to enter the room. he doesn’t know when this became thing, helping the boy dress up pretty for whatever friendly benefactor was going to treat him out tonight. perhaps it started when he found out they paid the rent, or perhaps it was haeju’s cute face that made him warm up to the boy quicker than he had anticipated, as shallow as it sounds. “you know,” jeongmin called out to wherever haeju was, unsure if it was the bathroom or closet, “sometimes i wonder what you did before me. don’t get me wrong, ju, you have taste but having style is the important part. did you have a personal stylist or is it just me you’re exploiting?”

         taking care of takeshi’s wounds has become such a consistent part of his life that when he receives his text he’s already grabbing his kit from underneath his bed. no emotion really courses through him, at least not as it used to. he grew out of being constantly paranoid that his best friend would really hurt himself, he still worries, of course he does, but he’s not going to let it dictate his emotions as it once did. takeshi is a big boy, jeongmin would hope he knows what he’s doing. he slipped his boots on, grabbing his keys from the table beside the door, locking behind him unsure if haeju was in or not, and quickly making his way towards the elevator. a trip  to the second floor didn’t take long, jeongmin staring at the numbers above the sliding doors as he wondered what sort of mishap his best friend got in this time. hoisting the kit underneath his arm, min slipped through the doors once they opened and without even looking made it to takeshi’s door in no time, his knuckles quickly coming up to knock three times before stepping back. wondering if takeshi was alone tonight, jeongmin not in the mood to make small talk with anyone that isn’t who he’s here for.

[ lee taeyong, cismale, he/him, 23 ] FUKK SLEEP by A$AP ROCKY? whenever i hear that song, it reminds me of JEONGMIN ‘MIN’ KIM. maybe because they’re INVENTIVE but also DEVIL-MAY-CARE. they’ve been living at mulberry apartments since AUGUST of 2017 in 700 and have 1 ROOMMATE. ( WREAK HAVOC, PIENSO EN TU MIRA )

kim jeongmin, or ‘min’ to everyone else. he was born in seoul, south korea up until he was four years old before his family packed up and moved to the states. it was tough at first, family spews being what drove his family to this big change. there was a lot of struggling growing up, especially financially and it took a toll on jeongmin, especially as the oldest sibling he had to only help provide at one point, but also raise his siblings when both his parents were out working. 

they’re in a good place now, years of hard work paying off for his family. growing up like that it definitely drove jeongmin to do whatever he could for himself on his own. it has both it’s pros and cons, sometimes the two of them are blurred together, unsure what’s positive and what isn’t. he’s very prideful when it comes to not asking for help, but other times he cares too much for others and lacks taking care of himself first. 

when he moved out, jeongmin felt like he could finally breathe for himself. he could focus solely on school and his job and himself. he goes to school for fashion design/styling considering his clothes were a way to express himself, and he had to get creative considering he couldn’t exactly buy the brands he can now growing up ( think pretty in pink, or those cool twt posts of people thrifting and turning it into something better, example: this ! ), and he absolutely loves it. he works as a full-time visual for a high-brand retail store, and it helps pay the bills -- especially considering his roomate’s ( haeju’s ) sugar daddies pay the rent, he doesn’t worry all too much. 

personality wise, jeongmin could come off as cold or maybe even a bit of dick considering his ‘resting bitch face’ but he’s not, at least not right away unless he’s given reason to be. or unless you loosen him up, he loves a good party and loves a good drink as much as the next person. but if you’re friends or close, or just know jeongmin is more than his surface he’s nothing but hardworking, feisty, and a risk-taker ( and you’ve gotta be able to take risks if you want to make it in fashion -- direct jeongmin quote ).

ummm, honestly listen i can go on about jeongmin but it’s late and my brain is going blank but this is the gist of him !! also because since he’s brought back to life, there’s going to be adjustments for him in this rp that don’t exactly fit in with where i used him prior !! so, yeah !! 

on to quick fun facts : 

he’s a virgo sun, cap moon ( and i say this bc i didn’t want to make him a full on cap -- sorry to any capricorns out there, oops ! its ok, my moon is cap too ), sept 2. 

he’s very versatile when it comes to fashion, always sporting a different look and never sticking to solely one, at least not for long periods of time.
