My diary, UWCL Final 2022❤️💙

Well girls, that’s the end for us, for our UWCL 2022, but please remember, just for tonight. We tried our best, gave it all and contributed such an entertaining game but we all know that’s not enough. 

Yesterday, we were nobody.

Today, we are a champion.

But Tomorrow, we could easily be a loser. And that is us for tonight.

We are defeated by a better group, a physically stronger team and a more experienced club. Accept it, whether you want or not, because after all, we played below expectations (bad passes, defending, pressing - terrible in an important 1st half) and we lost. But what is there for us, to see, to learn, to experience - is a worthy lesson. 

After all, tomorrow is another day. Keep up the spirit, keep working, keep desiring, keep hoping and keep wanting for more. We, Culers, are proud of you, FCB Femení. 🍀

I will stay by Jenni's side and will not leave her or Alexia. You don't leave people in their most difficult moments and drag them down for the mistakes they have made, but what you do is show them your support. Nobody is perfect and we have to learn from our mistakes. I don't care what they think of me, judge me or what you want. Caring for, loving and helping people to be better is what life really means.

Good for you. Not many people get this, you know.... You shouldn’t judge someone when you don't fully understand the situation and you are not even insiders. Yes, maybe they are wrong, maybe they were wrong, but who doesn't make mistakes? I see kids bodyshaming people and faceshaming them out loud so I was speechless 😩. Nevermind, what I want to say is, love and forgive people make you happier than you think ❤️
