Had fun trying to make a gen2 pokemon-looking sprite using a palette based on the Sprite Database collection of pokemon from Gold. Not sure I succeeded in looking like a Pokemon, or looking all that good, but I had fun and I'm mostly proud of the result lol

fell off drawing for a while, trying to get back in the saddle. Drew a few pieces of Digimon fanart to try and get in the groove/have have fun while learning, this is the first one I'm proud of.

So here's Betamon! I love this little guy. too bad they rarely give him any evos that I really like. Here's hoping he gets to have some cool forms in Time Stranger!

Top, mine: Fun with dithering edition. I did it in my usual style first, then decided the dithering gave a nice deep, somber effect to the shadows that I really liked.

Anyone else remember the scene where Tai, Agumon, Kari and Gatomon all sit around and talk about how Kari's new soft, wimpy friends need to get cool with murder real quick before the world gets taken over by bad guys? unironically one of my favorite episodes of 02. Admittedly not a big pool to choose from cause 02, you know. Glad TK and Kari were there, sure wish they got to be characters this time.

Also, fine, I finally broke down and bought Aseprite. So mad you guys were all correct and it really is worth every penny. Literally my only complaint is that the the menus are a little small for my Surface, but since I already have a bluetooth keyboard and this software has hotkeys for everything, well. There you go.

I liked this episode, though I do have to admit it was a good example of how wildly Vamdemon's power level fluctuates throughout Adventure lol. less than ten episodes ago he fought all seven of the kids' Digimon to a standstill (with a mixed group of Perfects and Adults,) he does it again a handful of episodes later, and this episode he can't kill Matt and TK because Weregarurumon is there, before Angemon even shows up.

And yet, for better or worse, as we say, "I stay [digi]"

Fanart of the immeasurably lovely @brownsugarhunnny, based on two of her nudes. Aside from being, you know, fucking hot, I was fascinated by the way the different lighting affected her skin tone. Like, I know that's how color works, but it's really interesting to me to see such a drastic contrast

I feel like the complete version shows both how far I've come since I started doing pixel art, and how far I have to go. Still, the fact that I've come this far means I have it in me to keep going

Monster Disco

Hey so if I kind of made like, I'm not sure what it's called, whether it's like a journaling game, or a single player rpg, for the Mons genre, would anyone be interested in looking at it? It hasn't been playtested or anything, so any feedback is welcome. Essentially you'd roll dice on a series of tables and generate prompts to outline a Mons show/story. It leans more Digimon/Superhero Adventure I have to admit, a lot of it assumes you'll be Facing Down Villains rather than Kinda Trucking Along. But if anybody's interested in playing it, hit me up and I'll find a way to share it online
