rewatched lotf 1990. that movie is so.... interesting i don't even know how it was made 😭

i think the funniest part about it is jack. he gives off zero book jack vibes. he looks like how ralph is described and his line delivery is so funny

1963 jack also kinda looks like ralph so i guess the anti ginger jack movement has been afoot for a while now. i hope he's ginger in the tv show because him being ginger makes so much sense

hi everyone! first of all i just wanted to say thank you to everyone who was so kind and responded to my post a couple days ago! i thought i would make an intro post to hopefully make more friends in the fandom..

my name is cali, i'm 17, and i use she/they pronouns! like most people i got into lotf because i had to read it in class. i very quickly realized i was hyperfixated on the book when everyone else in my class hated it but me lol.

my favorite characters are jack and ralph but i pretty much like them all. i like jalph as a ship but anything nsfw makes me uncomfortable.

my other big interests are marvel (mostly spider-man and x-men comics) and fnaf. i'm more active on twitter but there isn't an active lord of the flies fandom there so i came to tumblr.

have any of you guys watched yellowjackets? it's heavily inspired by lotf and it's about a high school girls soccer team who's plane crashed in the canadian wilderness! there are two timelines that take place during their time in the wilderness and the survivors 25 years later.

anyways it's really good and pretty dark and i wished there were more analysis and comparisons between the two. i saw lotf fans here a couple of years ago talking about a show called the wilds but i have seen it and it really isn't that similar. other than a plane crashing on an island. and yellowjackets is better imo. if you haven't seen it i really recommend it it's been one of my favorite shows for a while now. ok im rambling bye !<3

✨heya feeling nostalgic so have a piece I did last year of Jean Grey and Scott Summers for my X- Men fashion zine. ✨

basically it was just us reimagining X characters in the fashion and time periods that we thought best represented their personalities - I was in love with the idea of them being like 60’s Americanna, Archie style teeny boopers. Jean’s valedictorian prom queen and Scott is her dork, wannabe greaser boyfriend 🛵🛵🛵
