“At the very least we can show that there was resistance” to what is happening in the Gaza Strip, the student added.

“The horrors in Gaza are really beyond imagining. These small acts of resistance, these are small sacrifices — [they] are nothing compared to what is happening on the ground in Palestine.” [...]

What's happening in Gaza isn't a war; it's ethnic cleansing, genocide, deliberate and systematic civilian killing. It's wrongly called a war, but it's actually annihilation in a small area with 2 million people. Israel deploys deadly carpet bombing, killing 14 Palestinian civilians per hour. In just 10 days, over 1,500 children, 32% infants, were killed, with a bomb count like a quarter of a nuclear bomb. In 17 years of blockade, Israel killed 8,000 people, over a third of them children. Gaza has never known peace due to Israel, enduring internationally prohibited crimes. This is a brief summary of Palestine's story over the past 75 years.

Not just thousands of Palestinian children, but tens of thousands of Palestinian youths, men, women, and the elderly. 5% of Gaza's population has been either severely disabled/injured, has gone missing, or has been genocided. From destroying orchards and farms, to the destruction of Gaza Infrastructure to the point where it has collapsed in many spaces -especially their medical complexes, to the complete lack of access to fresh and clean water. Israhell is also still starving Palestinians -is still committing war crimes, and now this? The zionists are continuing their illegal settler-colonial project full steam ahead apparently, and it's beyond horrific.
