STOP hiding from your fellow freaks. I get it okay I GET IT the mortifying ordeal of being known etc. etc. But it's true! The community that you can build around yourself if you just admit to your own desires and wants is astounding. As someone turning thirty in a month, if there was one thing I could go back in time and tell my twenty year old self it would be this. There are SO MANY people on this planet who can and will match your freak to extraordinary levels. I'm not even talking about Making That Man Ovulate, although I am. I'm talking about like...for every person that judges you for your authenticity (although there are not nearly so many of those people as I thought as a kid) there are so many more who will come to love you for it. There are people out there who will RAVENOUSLY learn your own personal lore and only ask that you learn theirs in return. There are people out there who will genuinely embrace you at your weirdest and quote-unquote 'least palatable' so STOP watering yourself down. Stop enjoying things in silence.
