Anti Illegal Drug Summit

               “Youths are the future hope of our country”, that was once said by our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal. But it seems like drugs are making youths as the opposite thing of being so called “hope” and making them as one of the head of destroyers. Because of using drugs they become the destroyer not only of their own life but also to others present and future life and being the destroyer of their own nation. This happening is alarming the government, and as a response, there are lots of activities done to solve this un-ending issue since then.

               One of those said activity is the Anti Illegal Drugs Summit held last January 30, 2019, lead by the former PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, conducted at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology. The summit intended to make not only youths but everyone aware about the danger brought by illegal drugs.

               As one of being a millennial, I can say that it is normal to let some curiosity drive us but of course in a good way, because we are still learning and we want to explore and be familiarize with the strange experiences for us to learn and grow as a person. But taking illegal drugs must not be something to be curious at. Because illegal drugs can quickly take over your life, it can change the way your mind works and you can even be involved in many illegal activities such as crime. It has a side effect that can damage your brain, heart and your other important organs.

               See, illegal drugs should really be something not to try and a must to avoid not only by you but also to the people around you. Do not be one of those who become and have influence to use illegal drugs instead be a good role model who influences other not to try illegal drugs. We should start being a responsible and well disciplined with our own self. And prove that not just youth but everyone are the “hope” of our country.

What do I think I will become after I graduate?

After senior high school graduation, I see myself as happy yet slightly sad. Happy because another journey of my life has been ended and another chapter will open, and I know that I am more close and taking a step by step process to achieve my goals. And a bit sad because I will be apart from the persons that I am used to be together and choose our own path without each other and the things that I am used to do will gonna be change.

And of course after graduation, here comes the vacation, and I think I will enjoy my vacation because I might think that college life will be stressful. And when its time for studies, I see myself as a working student. I see myself as a BSA student. I think I will become more matured in many things and decisions that I will make but still knows how to chill. I know when to take things seriously but still knows how to enjoy life. I think I will become more dedicated to finish my studies since I already start my college life. And I see myself as a person full of dreams. I see myself after senior high school graduation not just a dreamer but also a girl of action.
