I’m a small ass account, so I know this will go nowhere, but we need to talk about accessibility and accommodations at conventions.

I am very disheartened at FanExpo and their unwillingness to give accommodations at the Joseph Quinn meet and greets I have tried to go to both in January in Louisiana and this weekend in Texas.

Disabled fans should be able to meet Joseph Quinn without having to fear about their well-being at the con. My experience with FanExpo has been that they don’t really see the importance of any accommodations since someone can wait in line for you.

I do not have the means to pay for another person to travel 5-12 hours and pay for their ticket to get into the con + the money it costs for me to travel and get into the con and pay for all the Joseph stuff, and I can’t ask fans for help because I would never want to take away the opportunity someone has to meet him.

I know if Joseph Quinn knew about this, he wouldn’t let this slide. I know the chances of him seeing this are slim to none, but I’m a raging bitch and will scream at the top of my lungs about how important accessibility is in fandoms.
