Upside Down Magic Parents

Why is it every time there’s great parents in upside down magic they get glossed over? Don’t get me wrong not all the parents are bad but they’re not great. 

Example, Willa’s parents they’re not bad parents, they’re alright and they clearly love their child. They try to keep her calm and make sure she doesn’t rain, but they see that the rain needs fixing instead of why the rain is coming down. And Ms. Starr has implied it’s from anxiety, and Willa says something along the lines “Of course, you be anxious too if at any moment you’d rain on someone!” And I don’t think her parents got that because when she’s about to rain at the conference they snap at her, instead of help her clam down. 

Here’s a great parent example. Andres, when he flouted up to the fan and got stuck his parents got used to his magic and got him the leash and nailed his things up to the ceiling. But we don’t get to hear much about them. 

Bax’s dad middle ground for me I do like his character, he cares for son and helps with the rock and objects stuff but he lied about his pet allergies with his magic and didn’t tell him what’s going on with the job loss. He doesn’t know how to handle the divorce and neither does Bax. He wants to help but just doesn’t know how to.

My hair is curly and blonde on the ends once I dye it blonde yellow again I will do a Elliott cosplay for the UDM fans, or sense my hair is puff I can cosplay Sebastian. Let me know what cha think. Edit: This is for the book fans also I dyed it (:

I’m being a smartass in science, it’s fun but people don’t like me. My teacher is nice and so is my new friend. I’m not sure about the others though some kid talked about an angler fish and it went down like this

Me:“those are only the female ones, the males stay on the side of the female”

Classmate: “How do you know?”

Me: “I watch Octonauts, leave me alone.”

I’m not popular, I feel like I said the wrong thing. But at least my teacher learned something about me, I’m sad now I won’t be in his class next year. (Probably) He’s my favorite teacher and he actually talks and listens to me, even when it has nothing to do with the lesson. (My other teachers listen to me only when I’m answering a question or asking one)

Does anyone have any idea why Bax’s parents got a divorce??? I mean mine got a divorce because of fighting. I love Mr.Kapoor, he tires his best to take care of Bax. He lost his job and stills pays for piano lesson for his son. I’m only on book five so please don’t spoil. Also please tell me what think of Mr.Kapoor.
