“Doors right there, don’t let it hit that perfectly shaped ass on the way out.” Jared quipped, commenting on her opinion of pineapple on pizza. There were a lot of things in this world Jared Jones understood - sonnets written by the most talented of composers, linguistics described by the most eloquent of poets, metaphors and similes that were written so beautifully and clearly you could see them like a high quality movie - but pineapple on pizza; he simply couldn’t comprehend it. Sapphires hadn’t lifted from the illuminated screen when he’d spoken, though his tell tale smirk had laced itself against his lips shortly after the fact. It had been a joke of course, the kind Jared once upon a time would have thought inappropriate to make - but the more time the tutor spent around the beauty the more he noticed himself changing, becoming slightly more accustomed to people and their reactions - what was acceptable and what wasn’t, though he still had quite a way to go. Demi was molding Jared - crafting him into ( in his eyes ) a far better version of himself than he currently was, one that was a bit more easy going - and far more suited to ‘roll with the punches’ as they came as opposed to having to analyze absolutely everything that came his way. Truly Demi was a god sent - no wonder he was in love with her.
What else could he call it? Demetria Rose Rivers was the very first thing the tutor thought about when he woke up, the last thing he considered before he went to bed and every other thought he had during the day - thank god for the lax security and black market that seemed to surround Brielle - how else would the girl have gotten her hands on a cell phone and be able to text him when they couldn’t be together? In truth Jared had mixed feelings about the standards of Brielle Institute - but he wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth; not when said horse was lavishing him with such spoils. He could look the other way for now, besides, what harm was there in allowing the patients to have cellphones? The real kicker was her ability to sneak out of the institute at night - that was the really troubling factor Jared had to brush under the rug of his mind continually. If Demi could do it was was stopping the others? Who was to say the patients of Brielle weren’t roaming the streets at all hours of the night - only to return before roll call in the morning? This was a fact the tutor HAD to turn a blind eye to - other wise he might not be able to sleep at night at all.
It was as the subtle ding of the Xbox chimed that cerulean pools gazed up from their task to appreciate Demetria for all she was - absolutely G L O R I O U S. Everything about her was simply perfection, nary a flaw to be found in an absolute sea of gold. How in the world had he gotten so lucky? Yet again Jared found himself unwilling to confront whatever deity it was that had deemed him worth of Demi’s presence, let alone her reciprocated interest. Instead he was simply appreciative, willing to show the goddess all the ways he admired her any way he could. Shifting his gaze he noticed the title card proclaim itself against the monitor - The Great Gatsby; how romantic. A warm swell encapsulated Jared’s chest, beginning just beneath his left pectoral and radiating throughout his extremities - yes - love would absolutely be the word for what he was experiencing. A sense of giddiness fell over him then - full blow smile claiming his lips as his own Aphrodite found her place next to him.
Though just as he thought they were in the clear - ugly past put behind them, Demi brought it up again. He couldn’t blame her, he would have questions too had the roles been reversed - and he sure as hell could bet he wouldn’t have taken it half as well as she had. The least he could do was give her some answers, attempt to clear up any and all bad blood that the duo might have moving forward. That night - most of the events after spin the bottle were at the very least describable as fuzzy. He remembered going for a walk with Dana on the beach - expressing his concerns about the kisses and how Demi might take it…then he had been back at his cabin and somehow, miraculously she had been there - nursing him back to health as he eliminated the contents of his stomach over and over; GOD - how e m b a r a s s i n g. Jared credited the beauty for sticking with him through it all, the experience couldn’t have been pretty. And yet - he had seen her note in the morning, the haphazardly writer scrawl that explained she had stayed as long as she could, that she hoped he was feeling better and she would see him that day - this note had given Jared cause t smile, as had the water bottle it had been placed beneath. That had been a moment in time Jared classified her as an angel.
“Did I?” He half smiled, though it wasn’t his typical half smirk - it was more of an ‘oh god - what other embarrassing gibberish did I say’ type of smile. “No - really it’s fine. I don’t mind.” He reassured her, allowing a burly hand to run the length of her fore arm as she encompassed him in her grasp. He gripped her wrist gently, simply indulging in the intimacy of touch they weren’t permitted anywhere but within his four walls. “I’d say it was a fifty fifty split - I might have hated myself a little less were it just the alcohol but I know I beat myself up quite a bit when Dana and I left the fire - I don’t remember much of the conversation we had, but I know she kept telling me to ‘lighten up’ - so I can only assume I was overly broody that night.” A huff of air escaped his nostrils as a laugh, at the same time Jared completed their order he shifted in the stool allowing his ultra marine orbs to rest against the emerald slivers that were sparkling against golden flecks of Demetria’s eyes. “Thank you for taking care of me.” He murmured, lifting a palm to capture her chin betwixt his thumb and forefinger - the former of which drew against her jawline before coming to a close. “You are an exceptional nurse.” Jared said with a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, drawing her in for a loving kiss.
Seated in the barstool Jared was still taller than Demetria - but only by an inch or so as opposed to his usual foot. The moment drew out, Jared’s palm capturing her cherub cheek whilst his other hand rested against her hip, drawing her into the open space left between the tutors thighs. If the zombie apocalypse were to come at this moment in time Jared Jones would have all he needed - in fact he almost wished it would so that he could barricade them inside, never having to face the outside world again. It was a silly thought - an illogical half scenario that didn’t make any sense out side of the tutors desire to want Demi to stay there with him in that moment forever.
“Mmm - on second thought, I don’t need pizza…”
Jared said against the beauties lips, pulling away by barely an inch. He stood quickly, crouching slightly so that he could grasp the beauty by her waist, plucking her tiny frame from the floor with barely any effort as he began to walk toward the couch. “I have everything I want to eat right here.” He snickered, allowing Demi to fall backward onto the couch so that she ways lying down - to wit Jared clambered on top of her. The tutor drowned her in more kisses, each growing more passionate than the last. He wanted to forget about the dreadful night in Cancun, when he had acted so foolishly thanks to the influence of his ‘friends’ and alcohol. Besides - Demi was a far better kisser than any of those other women had been, it was obvious in the way he grew intoxicated by her lips, scent and touch. Shifting tactics now Jared allowed his lips to carry him down over her neck and across her collar bone, ensuring to place his petals against every inch of exposed flesh the beauty had.
Unsure as to why she had been so TERRIFIED to let anybody in recently, Demetria now felt silly. Actually, silly wasn’t even the word – she felt R I D I C U L O U S. Given the last handful of romantic encounters ending with an explosion, leaving nothing but a sour taste dancing over her taste buds in a malicious tango, the beauty wanted nothing more than to stay single – at least that way, she would be able to have her way with as many men as she wanted. Demi was somebody who used others for her own benefit… If she wanted a little attention, then like a vampire, she would draw them in and toss them aside once the blood was drained from their body. Demetria Rivers wasn’t just your typical high school BITCH; she was an animal, tainted by carnal thoughts and ravenous ideologies. Falling in love with somebody as kind hearted as the Jones was not on her agenda… It was far from it. The brunette never would have pictured herself with a tutor, one of Doctor Wright’s staff members and above all else – Brielle Institute’s resident GOOD GUY. Jared and Demi were from very separate worlds; planets floating in the atmosphere, yet magnetising towards one another until they collided – though that natural disaster was the best thing that could have happened to her.
Demetria Rivers needed somebody like that. She needed somebody who had a heart of gold, who was willing to put her first, who wanted to completely DROWN in her being… Here he was, stood in front of her. Well, he was sat on his kitchen stool, drawing her in and dismissing her concerns with the words of reassurance that she needed. As much as the brunette liked to dwell on certain topics, Jared was the perfect BALANCE that she needed. When the angel and devil of her conscience sat on either shoulder, whispering sweet nothings into her ear in a bid to tempt her to follow their commands, Jared was the voice of reason – the one that rang within the confinements of her mind to bring her back to normality. That was why she broke things off with Tic once she realised how DEEP it was getting – because there was somebody else on her mind.
As he embraced their touch, Demi only sunk into him more – arms wrapping their way across his shoulders whilst his very own digits coursed along her forearm. Seemingly, the tutor could not get enough of the beauty; palms roaming all over her body in no likes of a sexual nature but actions that spoke L O V E. His voice was low, ultramarines dazzling as he reeled her in to a short but passionate kiss – his previous quip sending her cherries into a smile as her own plump pinks collided with his. An exceptional nurse? That was rather ironic, seeing as she was surrounded by them on a daily basis – perhaps that was what she could do when she was free from Brielle. She would be lying if she said she hadn’t thought about it at least a couple of times… What was she going to do once she was out? Live with Jared, that was a no brainer. It would be rather fitting for her to go in to some kind of hospital work, to commemorate where she spent a good portion of her adult years. It was a foreign feeling; Demi had always believed that she was going to go into fashion or BEAUTY – yet here Jared was, morphing her into this creature that felt much more whole.
Lips remained a crescent, pointed in the direction of the stars above them – those twinkling lights above his silly little apartment serving as thousands of beams of hope. Exhaling a jailed breath, chest finally relieving itself of the compressed air that was ready to BURST her lungs, the beauty tilted her head to the smile – autumnals landing on the stray strands of raven that were sprawled across his forehead, her fingers lifting temporarily to brush them from his canvas. “You are very welcome and next time, to make things that little bit more exceptional, I’ll ensure I steal an outfit from the nurses station and dig out my best lace underwear..” The honeymoon phase was still very much CAPTIVATING them. Four months in and here they were, hopelessly flirting with one another. Demetria felt Jared’s attempts of still winning her over; ordering food, letting her choose the movie… Later on, relationships grew B I T T E R and people began to show their true colours but the beauty could tell that Jared was showing his from the very beginning…
Scooping her up in his grip in the romantic way that he always did, Demetria allowed a small giggle to clamber up the confinements of her throat – arms clinging onto him as her hazels watched his ceruleans with an EXCITEMENT burning behind her golden flecked hues. His words caused her chest to vibrate, shoulders rocking back and forth as the laughter erupted from her vocal chords. That was one thing on the long list of things she LOVED about Jared; his playfulness. Refusing to let go of his shoulders so he had no other option but to climb on top of her, the brunette returned each loving peck that he delivered; his littering ranging from her lips to her chin and just about anywhere he could reach.
With each new breath, Demetria found herself TRYING to talk but his playful nature would never let her – his lips retreating back to the spot of strawberry that centred on her features. In between those breaths and kisses, came giggled – struggling to get her words out. “No… We DO need pizza, I’ll be dessert but PLEASE do not deprive me of my pizza.” With widened eyes, the beauty allowed Jared to have his few minutes of fun – lips running over her jawline, fingers rummaging for her shirt as he grew L O S T in her. Demi was having to fight to not fall under his spell too… Albeit, she was struggling.
It was a sight to behold; a rather flustered Jared staggering over to the front door as he zippered up his jeans that were around his ankles, meanwhile the beauty clambered for the blanket resting on the arm chair, throwing it outward like a towel in a DESPERATE attempt to cover herself from the pizza boy whose knock hammered against the oak. It was COMICAL – but was it worth the risk? Sure, it was in the moment but Demetria would have much rather been sprawled against a king size, back against memory foam and her moans muffled by the sounds of feathered pillows. None of those thoughts mattered as she felt his lips travelling with a confidence down her chest, finding his way to bare skin… Within moments, Demi knew that her body suit would wind up on the floor and so she pulled Jared back up – pressing one kiss and another and another along his very own jawline, trying to distract him.
“Okay – you are completely and utterly sexy and… Beginning to drive me crazy but I am not risking getting caught by the pizza guy.”
As her words grew heavy, lungs catching up with her in their own whirl of breathlessness, Demetria closed her eyes in an attempt to regather herself. In that moment, she felt as though somebody caught at sea; a RIPTIDE consuming her in its circular motion, pulling her deeper into the water – overworking her lungs and body, capturing her... Jared was the WAVES; trapping her, pulling her into his grasp, ready to drown her under his very own tongue.
Reaching for the xbox controller which was still resting on the arm chair, the beauty hit play and rolled on to her side – Jared still towering over her, his weight holding him up on forearms and knees. It was now Demetria’s turn to grow playful and so, she nestled herself into the nearest cushion and closed her eyes temporarily, before peeping back up at Jared who had NO room. With a giggle, she elbowed him in the chest gently knowing that he would fall against the back of the couch, her own body shuffling forward slightly so that he had enough room to creep in behind her. “Come on, I’ve been wanting to watch this with you for MONTHS. Lay down and I’ll maybe give you a kiss after the pizza gets here... Oh, do not look at me like that.” The brunette paused a minute, drinking in his god AWFUL puppy dog eyes. Sure, his sapphires looked so sparkly but there was something about his pout that caused her stomach to turn over and cringe – yet she couldn’t help but release another bout of giggles.
“It takes two to make an accident.”
There she went, infamously quoting The Great Gatsby again in a mockery of his eagerness. It was a SURPRISE that Demetria’s entire face hadn’t been torn with all of the smiling… It almost felt only NATURAL that she uttered those words but as they left her lips, she heard the music kicking in– the haunting yet beautiful tone of Nick Carraway coming to live through the soundbar place below Jared’s television. A bolt of excitement burst through her stomach, her own wrist rummaging behind her for Jared’s arm so that she could wrap it around herself in a cuddle but as she did so, she intertwined her own fingers with his– hazels igniting at the screen as her heart skipped a beat, feeling all giddy at the fact she was HERE with Jared.

It’s okay. Okay…okay…had he heard her right? Demetria Rivers was okay with Jared Jones having kissed two other women. He stared at her for a moment, cerulean pools interrupted periodically by the strobing features of lashes that were far too dark and long to be wasted on a male. Relief washed over the tutors stomach, a great tidal wave of white, purifying the tainted blackness of his soul that had been twisting and turning within him for the past several days. This shock must had read clear as day across his features because she was reassuring him again, squeezing his own hands in a bid to convince him she wasn’t lying and that this admission of contentedness was a ballot of truth instead of some dastardly lie.
As the pixiesk brunette allowed her arms to travel around the width of his waist Jared’s own arms found their way around her petite form as well, boa constrictors slithering across her biceps, his large palms clasping each other as he prevented her from slipping away. As Demi’s head came to rest against the bravado of Jared’s chest his palms opened, cascading up and down her back, his heart slowly quieting, adrenaline causing a flush of endorphins to pass through his system causing the embrace to feel all the more euphoric. “NEVER, I promise.” He uttered quickly following her comment. Jared would never commit such an act ever again, even if it meant he would receive a beratment of comments from his group of ‘friends’. The guilt the tutor had lived with for the past few days had been unbearable and despite his knowledge of not having meant anything behind the kisses, it didn’t change the fact that his lips were pressed to someone else’s when he’d been committed to one one set; hers.
I thought I was going to LOSE you over the Charlie situation…Had he really been so cold during that encounter? Had Demi honestly thought Jared would call it quits just because her best friend had discovered them? It wasn’t out of the range of possibilities he knew that, but he had hoped Demetria would know him a little better by now. Another surge of guilt shot through the tutors veins like an unwanted hit of heroine, the icy cruel feeling bustling up each and every one of his nerve endings, dragging his stomach right back down to the ocean floor when only moments ago it had been flying on could nine.
She had pulled back just in time to see that flash of guilt lighting bolt across his chiseled features, red rimmed eyes ( lack of sleep was a bitch ) practically screaming out an apology. He’d done wrong by her, the tutor knew that - and in this moment he made a silent promise to himself to never disappoint or hurt this woman again - once had been too much and he had a feeling he’d be atoning for this betrayal for quite a long while, even if it was only himself doing the punishing. Demi could say she forgave him now; but Jared would need for forgive himself and that was going to take more than a doe eyed apology.
A smile cracked the troubled porcelain of Jared’s face as she spoke, “Possibly…” He whispered, amusement finding his tone as one of his own hands found her cherub like cheek. He pressed a passionate kiss to her lips then, softens encompassed within his petals as they parted her own. This was a kiss of romance, of great lovers like Romeo and Juliet, Gatsby and Daisy, Tristan and Isoled. It was a kiss that said you’re magnificent, how did I get so lucky, you are PERFECT. The embrace lasted a few beats, her aroma traveling p through the passages of the tutors nose, infecting him with her cherry blossom nectar, whirling and swirling around his brain as if she were some mythological siren corrupting her with her encompassing melody. Demetria Rivers was otherworldly, a creature not of this plain and Jared thanked his lucky stars she had chosen him to centre her attention on.
“You are extraordinary, Demetria Rivers…” Jared whispered against her lips, sapphires hooded by lazy lids, raw adoration alight within his eyes. “And I am so very lucky.” A smile tugged at one corner of his lips, trademark half smirk encompassing features where guilt used to reside. She had forgiven him yet, and the tutor might be socially inept but he wasn’t stupid - he owed Demetria the WORLD for being able to swallow her hurt and comfort him in a time when she no doubt needed comfort. Had the tutor learned she’d locked lips with someone other than himself he could not say he’d react so elegantly. This moment was yet another moment in which Jared’s feelings grew for the girl. She could have been distraught, enraged, she could have thrown a tremendous tantrum - but she didn’t. Instead the goddess picked her head up and chose to be a saint about the issue at hand; thus illuminating herself all the more in the eyes of the tutor. Jared was falling for her - he had been for a long while, each and every action Demi displayed pushing him further and further into his metaphorical tunnel of love.
They basked in the moment for a beat, all manner of fluffy feelings billowing around them like thick pink smoke, the tutor brushing his nose against her own in a signature Eskimo kiss. “You pick the movie, I’ll order the pizza?”

He quirked, releasing her finally in an attempt to locate his laptop. Ordering online was far preferred by the tutor, it wasn’t as though he was opposed to using his cell but it was honestly far simpler to do it through the computer, less chance for human error - plus it listed all the options on the website instead of a clunky phone operator explain the orders to you.
Falling into OBLIVION – or more realistically, the air around them as Jared pulled himself away and in the direction of his laptop – Demetria had to stop herself from toppling over, losing balance momentarily. Hazels were tainted by a series of stars; astrological imagery painting across her porcelain, as the gaze that coursed over her facial features was epic enough to tell all the stories of all constellations. Autumnal hues glimmered – just like the stars, IGNITE as opposed to twinkling. Jared really was something else and that TERRIFIED her… It absolutely petrified her that she had this perfect being right before her eyes; so accessible, yet so easily removable all in the same instance. That was the one thing that hurt about love; no matter how magical it felt, things could change – circumstances might differ, feelings could alter. Although she had no concerns of getting bored of somebody like Jared, she was scared that one day, he may have woken up and realised that he could find somebody who was a far better suit for him.
Perhaps, that was why spin the bottle should have worried her more. The entire game, along with his confession, should have shook Demetria to the C O R E and yet, here she was – trying to shake it off as though it was some game with a high school boyfriend that meant nothing. To be honest, she probably wouldn’t have handled it as well if it was a college boyfriend but this time around, she was in the GOLD MINE; shovel in hand as its metallic surface dug deeper and deeper, selfishly hunting the treasure that was right in front of her. Nevertheless, if she had made a fuss of it – she would have been branded as a hypocrite. Demi was no ANGEL… No, she was the devil and she had written her own bible of SINS.
Watching the newfound confidence instilled with Jared bounce over to his breakfast bar, fingers toggling over his mouse to activate his laptop, Demi turned her attention to the DVD case – knowing exactly where her eyes were headed. It was only appropriate that they watched The Great Gatsby, given that the past four months had been full of references and quotes… Maybe she could use this as a mechanism to admit to her love. Demetria could finally tell Jared that she LOVED him tonight. It would have been the perfect timing – over the motion picture of their favourite book and to cement the fact that she was willing to give herself over to him, if he would do the same for her. Though, there was something within her that stopped her. What if Jared wasn’t ready to hear such a thing? With the news he had shared tonight, anything seemed possible. There was always the chance that she would tell him and he would shut her down, backing out and claiming that it was far too early to hear anything like that. A part of her agreed – although she saw Jared near enough every single day… It was IMPOSSIBLE to not fall in love with him.
“Do not get me a pepperoni – have I ever told you that I think there is no other flavour as BORING as pepperoni?” Manicured nails trailed over each plastic case, scanning desperately to find the section that began with the letter ‘G’. It was here somewhere – Jared had to have it stored on his shelf, otherwise he would have been no true fan. Slowly but surely, she found it – a small smile lifting to her lips as she glided the casing out from his bookcase, a whole new world opening in front of her eyes as the OPULENCE from the front cover spilled into the room, her vivid imagination bringing life to the glamour and glitz that was a West Egg party in true Gatsby style. “Maybe something like… Chicken, bacon and pepper – I could so go for that right now. Also, I forgot to ask you. Serious question. What is your take on pineapple on pizza? I’m sorry but if you say it does not belong on pizza, then we should just call this quits now because it’s never going to work.”
Demetria was certainly full of life – that was one thing that she could offer to Jared that not many other women in the institute could and to tell the truth, she was one of a kind. The beauty was UNIQUE; in a league of her own and perfectly imperfect. There weren’t many people who knew their own worth for what it was and although there were narcissistic natures to her personality, the beauty would always remain humanly – have setbacks of her own every now and then. It was only natural. Little did people know of the insecurities that lay within her soul; ATTACKING at her nerves when she was feeling run down, weak and vulnerable. Jared Jones had witnessed the darker demons that captured her heart… Nor did he run away. All he did was hold her – comforting her and assuring her that he was there for her. That was what had made him so SPECIAL; it was what convinced her that he was a man, as opposed to all of the other boys that she had been with. Jared was not afraid to encompass Demi for her entirety – her GLORY. Jared accepted that with the good, came the bad… That didn’t stop him from allowing his lips to cover every inch of her body; tongue travelling over the beautiful glows to her skin as well as indulging in her rotten flesh that needed to be revived. Just like anybody else, Demetria held insecurities within her soul – yet he continued to obliterate them, day by day – building her caterpillar body a cocoon and watching her BLOSSOM.
Curved thighs carried her over to the television, fingertips glazing over the touch feature to the Xbox – its tune humming as the white light flashed, the bigger screen reviving from its black state of decay. Pressing the disc into its little slot, the beauty chewed on her lip which was curving upwards, fumbling for the controller as she took a couple of steps back and placed it on the arm of the couch. Dancing up alongside Jared who was still trying to figure out the website, Demetria pressed her cheek to his bicep – babyface puffing up as her lashes brushed against his own skin. There weren’t many other patients in Brielle who had access to things like this; they weren’t able to eat pizza and watch films in the way that she did… Nor were they able to sleep in a memory foam bed with feathered pillows, entangled in the arms of the ones they loved. Demi, on the other hand, was incredibly lucky. It was only a matter of time before security started growing tighter though – it wouldn’t take much longer for them to realise that there was somebody sneaking out each night when the staff door was unlocked, thanks to some stupid ass guard that she was BRIBING. Security was such a funny thing; there to ENFORCE rules but barely capable of doing so.
It then dawned upon her how slack the security were in Cancun; perhaps, they were more interested in getting in their vacation time. Working under Doctor Wright did not seem like a very FUN job. It sounded dull, despite how much people like Jared loved the roles they fulfilled. It was far too easy sneaking into his cabin – spending the night intertwined with him, watching junk television in bed, as well as other things… Such as drunkenly nursing him back to health. Wait – Demi had SEEN him the night of the kiss. No wonder he was such a mess throughout the early hours; it wasn’t just ALCOHOL that was intoxicating him but guilt too. With a sigh at the thought, the beauty pressed her lips to his bare skin – closing her eyes for a second without placing a kiss. Memories came flooding back over how emotional he had seemed; the WRECKAGE of his mindset colliding into her like a wrecking ball designed for a demolition. At least she knew that he was well and truly sorry… If Jared had told her, then she would have been much more of a mess when she had bumped into Eden – luckily somebody was SOBER to keep their cool and play counsellor.
“Hey – I just thought… Were you miserable that night because of the game? You mumbled something about hating yourself and I thought it was just because you drank too much. Jared, I – actually... You know what – never mind, the conversation is in the past just like that stupid kiss. Ignore me.”
Fingertips snaked around his waist, lips now pressing into a small peck against his shoulder. As her skull collapsed against his bicep, Demi watched the few final clicks – the big banner at the end flashing up to let them know their order had been placed. Perfect. Food on the way, movie ready… The only thing that wasn’t ready was Demetria – stood there in jeans and a laced bodysuit. Although she looked HOT enough as it was, the beauty now knew that she didn’t have to dress to impress. Hell – she was certain that she could wear an old lady skirt and Jared would still find a way to tear it from her skin. Pearls entrapped the lower corner of her bottom lip, his torso twisting in her direction on the stool that he had been sat on – sapphires PIERCING through her and hypnotising her in the way that they always did. God, she was in love with him… And she hoped that he felt the same.

GUILT gnawed at the tutors insides like a ravenous school of piranha - desperate to cleanse his soul of anything foul. But was what Jared had done really all that h o r r i d? YES - he had kissed another woman, but that was what the game had required and he had to do what was necessary to keep them secret - hadn’t he? For a moment Jared wondered if he was caressing the brunette bombshell’s arms in an effort to comfort her or in an attempt to remove the moisture that was rather quickly developing within his massive palms. With this thought in mind he paused, gripping her petite forearms lightly; as if to steady himself rather than hold Demi in place.
He swallowed, the motion stiff; the substance gliding down his throat like sandpaper over gravel; the subsequent pain reflecting over his face for a moment - a flash - before Jared was able to regain himself again. He knew he hadn’t kissed those other women out of interest it had strictly been out of necessity…but why then did it feel like such a betrayal toward the woman he was so very speedily falling for?
Finding the strength somewhere within himself Jared’s sapphires found Demetria’s golden flecked hues, his own orbs swimming with palpable guilt a remorse - the only thing capable of absolving that was the beauties forgiveness, something the tutor hopelessly prayed he might find. “Uh…well…” He began, tongue finding it’s way over his pink petals, lubricating the device he would need to inform his goddess of his supposed adultery - though the category seemed just a hair harsh in his opinion. “Sebastian for one.” He stated, lips drawing together in a tight smile - the base of which was completely facetious. The kiss with Seb had been…strange to say the least. Jared was by no means gay, not bi curious in any sense of the word. The tutor was very comfortably heterosexual with no semblance of quandaries or questions about his own sexuality. Women were the only choice for Jared - and of course he couldn’t have cared less what best suited others; to each their own was a mindset comfortably implanted within the tutor. “That was….different. DANA for two which if you don’t mind I’d like to forget happened all together - Every time I think about it - I get a little nauseous.” He half joked. There was no denying that Jared had allowed himself to become a bit too invested in the first kiss with his best friend - but there was no reason at all for Demi to know that. It had purely been the alcohol in that moment; and his desperate desire to have the pixiesk beauty by his side. Purely the fault of their frames being so very similar - a trick of the mind and nothing more. “She landed on me and I landed on her - honestly I think that was some bad karma being payed back to me.” A strained laugh slipped through Jared’s lips as he rambled, yet again fraught over whether or not the beauty would understand his predicament.
“And then Piper…twice.” Another sand paper lump of saliva traveled over the tutors gravel esophagus as he finished up with the explanation though at the same time an immense weight felt as if it were lifting off of his chest - though simultaneously a pit the size of Detroit opened up within the confines of the Jones’ stomach. What if Demi DIDN’T understand where he was coming from? What if she branded him a cheater; a LIAR, a fiend? What if she stormed out of his apartment at this very moment shouting his name to the Gods - desperate for Zeus or Hades to strike him down without even a moments thought. What if Demetria was ANGRY with him? How could Jared ever make it up to her? The tutor had known from the beginning the staff encounter wasn’t going to be a positive use of his time. He could have gone back to his cabin, gone to bed - escaped into his dream world where Demi slept by his side and they were resting just inside a balcony laden hotel room in Paris. Jared’s night could have been so DIFFERENT - if only he hadn’t given in to peer pressure; an instance he hadn’t become familiar with outside of text books until grade TWELVE - nearly graduated and moved on to college; how would their lives be different then?
“I’m sorry. I tried to come up with an excuse not to play - strep, cold sores - ‘I didn’t brush my teeth today’ ; they wouldn’t take no for an answer…and I thought…If I didn’t go along with it…there might be a chance someone could put the dots together and…connect us….Demi I’m SORRY. There isn’t a soul I want to kiss other than you.”

As if the stress reflected against his adonis like feature wasn’t enough the tutors voice had cracked slightly at the end; emotion coming in to play as the guilt took hold of him once more. He’d let go of her arms at some point, between the explanation of Dana and his blathering about excuses not to partake. His palms found her hands again, gripping them together as if she were to start praying when really it was Jared simply pleading for her forgiveness, thumb desperately stroking over the delicate flesh of her own digits, awaiting her judgment. Should the beauty choose to storm out the tutor supposed he might be okay; he would deserve it after all. At the end of the day Jared Jones had legs that worked he could have carried himself right off that beach and into his cabin with no one the wiser. He’d be llabeled a DICK - but wasn’t that a fair price to pay for rescuing the status of your relationship?
Listening carefully to the choice of words that Jared spoke, hazels trembled over his complexion – shaking with nerves as they awaited the answer she dreaded. Jared felt guilty – she could see that but it didn’t hurt any less. Hearing those things was a black rain cloud; crashing down on her and leaving her to stand alone in the thunderstorm that would sooner or later drown her. Understandably, she had no issue with him kissing Sebastian. In fact, it was probably a good thing that Sebastian had been there to witness Jared around other women… There was nothing wrong with two friends lip locking in some bid to entertain the much larger group, although there was a shred inside of her that changed as soon as she heard Dana’s name. Just because you were friends with somebody, that didn’t mean intimacy was out of the question. HELL – Demetria considered Atticus a friend and yet, she still swooned over him to some extent. The beauty was the poster girl for friendships gone wrong… Tristan Powell had been a friend for as long as she could remember and after a couple of drinks one night, she had woken up in his bed wearing nothing but her underwear – all because they both felt LOST and needed somebody who understood the awful things that they were going through. Demetria wouldn’t have been surprised if Jared had lost himself in the kiss with Dana and whilst she wanted to dismiss that it had happened, it still lingered in the very back of her mind. She wasn’t best impressed but she wasn’t angry, she was paranoid.
Those feelings soon seemed to shrivel up into something else as he had heard Piper’s name – Jared was no longer mumbling confessions, facial expressions curving up into awkward smiles to get him through what he was trying to tell her – no… Instead, his features were scrunched up into feelings of remorse and regret. But that didn’t change the fact that he had done it. He was a fully grown man – thirty three, to be exact. If he didn’t want to partake in some high school game, then he didn’t have to. It wasn’t as if he had been bullied into sitting there and enduring the lips of another woman fighting their way against their own… Sure, he may have received a bit of a stir from his friends – but they weren’t holding a gun to his head and if he had said no, they would have ripped on him for a while and then let him go. That was how friendships worked.
Fucking hell – why couldn’t he have told her in Mexico? It wasn’t the most heartbreaking news that she had heard, which made her question whether her feelings for Jared were really as strong as she thought but that was simply out of the question. If she wasn’t falling for the male, she wouldn’t have entertained this relationship for as long as she had… Jared would already be out of the picture and left alone – like some kind of firework set off without the enjoyment from a crowd on bonfire night. Nobody could truly admire the red sparks of lost for what they were in their simplicity; crashing, staggering, yet so beautiful. Demetria Rivers certainly had deeper feelings than she had before they left for Mexico. It was safe to say that she was slowly falling in love with him – but that was hard not to feel when he treated her as beautifully as he did. Jumping slightly as he clasped her hands together, the brunette was forced to bring her gaze up to his, virdescents burning out like a flame that had been lit for an entire evening, not wanting to linger in the silence for too long. Allowing a sigh to force through her lips, she shook her head slightly…
It fucking hurt – yes, but her actions were no better than his. Actually, that was a LIE. Demetria only entertained Tic’s kiss for a short while, before breaking it off all because Jared was on her MIND. As soon as her lips had started to dance with Atticus’s, she soon realised that they weren’t in synchronisation – not that they were with her usual tango partner. It wasn’t as if she had kissed a series of people on different occasions – but she had kept it all a secret from her lover. It wasn’t as though she could confess it now, nor was it like she had made the move. She enjoyed it though – before the guilt came swinging in but that was what her disorder was about. Jared would NEVER understand, but at least there was something to blame it on. It took two to tango ( after all ) and whilst Jared wasn’t the only guilty party in all of this, there were other people who were unaware of their relationship. Demi didn’t know Piper personally but she had already formed a rather caged opinion on her – the redhead was just as HELLBENT as she was, which didn’t settle well inside of her stomach… Piper held every single characteristic that the brunette held – determination, with a fire inside of her stomach – burning and churning until she received EXACTLY what she wanted. The only thing that she could do was forgive him in this situation and just pray that there wouldn’t be another time… As ironic as it was.
“There isn’t anybody else I want to kiss either… I can’t believe I’m actually saying this but it’s okay.” Taking a deep breath as if to compose herself, Demetria closed her eyes momentarily – in a desperate attempt to evaluate the situation from afar before coming back in, saying that she was completely fine with it. She wasn’t completely fine – the hurt was visible on her features, surely. It was the first instance that Jared had given her not to trust him… One more shot and he would be out. Finally squeezing his own hands and leaning into him, another sigh leaving the folds of her lips, Demetria let go of his palms and wrapped her arms around the small of his waist. “Really – I mean… As long as you don’t ever do it again.” Hesitantly, a small smile lifted to her lips, but she was NOT joking. She was sure that Jared would be surprised with the reaction… She was surprised at herself. As her head pressed to his chest, the brunette could feel the POUNDING that was beating from his chest – his heart acting as a bass drum in some horrific metallic riff that was pounding in a desperate attempt to get the distraught feelings away from its core. “It was a game and I can tell that you feel awful… It’s okay, Jared. I’ve been in positions where it feels almost impossible to say no but – I get it. Just know, that I don’t want you to feel as though you can keep secrets from me. I thought I was going to LOSE you over the Charlie situation and I don’t ever want to feel like that again.”
Pulling backwards so that she could get a better look of him, she now realised that his sapphires were bloodshot – red vessels igniting the white of his eyes with a coating of concern glazing across them. All she could do was offer a hopeless smile, lifting a thumb and index finger to his cheek in some DYING attempt to comfort him, although she was the one who needed comforting. Loving Jared was not easy… It was the most difficult thing that she felt the DESIRE to do – but she knew it was going to worth it. Just like she had described to Zoe, their love was the BIG kind of love… The one that you saw in movies, almost unattainable. There was no denying that Jared Jones was the one for her – despite how much their worlds collided. Although, that was what made their love story so tragically POETIC. Despite not being able to shake the feeling that Jared had sent into her stomach, Demi knew that she would have to remain UNFORGETTABLE – movie, pizza, blowjob… As easy as it sounded. Sexual favours weren’t easy when they were being given to the person that you loved though, even if she wasn’t ready to admit to it.
See, the love that she had for Jared was entirely different to the love that she had felt for anybody else. With Aiden, it was that first love feeling – the kind that every girl experience when they felt that they had been through devastating love stories in the past. With Ricky, her vision was clouded – desperate to feel some kind of connection given the heartbreak that she had felt in the past. With Jared, it was a whole new love – one that you could only learn about if you had been hurt before… This time, she had been taught about how the game of love truly worked. Whilst it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, there were real issues; problems that were worth FIGHTING for and hell – had she learned that from Jared. Whilst their worlds were incredibly separated – their own lives FRACTURED from issues within their past – Demi couldn’t deny her feelings for Jared…
“Now, what do you say? Pizza, movie, cuddles and possibly – a much BETTER kiss?”
She was beginning to LOVE him and although she was scared to admit that, she knew she would have to face her problems eventually.

jemijones·:
Goodbye Cancun, goodbye waking up to ocean waves lapping at the everlasting beach; goodbye paradise. It had gone by in almost a blink, a whisper of a dream and suddenly they were back, witnessing the starch blank walls of Brielle; in such contrast to the magnificent scenery of the Mexican landscape the institute had been so lucky to inhabit. In coming back to Brielle Jared Jones had mixed feelings. It had been nice to get away, to relax upon the beach, run the water sports obstacle course and hiking trails - each which held their own happy memories. Truly Mexico had been a vacation; even if the tutor had had to ‘work’ during the short stint. A small part of the Jones considered becoming a permanent life guard - but then how could be broaden young minds and perfect older ones? No. Teaching was where his heart would always lie - no matter how immaculate the scenery.
But Jared’s mind was filled with more than simplistic memories of happy go lucky camp goers. That dreaded night came rushing back to him, as it had in many a night mare - which some how he’d been able to hide from HER. Demetria Rivers, the woman who had so encapsulated his heart. Each and every time the tutor rose from his slumber with cold sweats and a case of hyperventilation the beauty had rested; unaware and seemingly unwilling to rise from her magnificent slumber. It wasn’t as if he could blame her really - Jared too fell in and out of pattern of heavy to light sleeper - perhaps his nightmares had come at a time when the beauty was in a state of deep REM sleep - he couldn’t exactly expect his elicit reaction to bolster her from such deep sleep - it just wasn’t humanly possible.
What were the nightmares exactly? Crimson hair, ruby red lips - and the subtle hint of coconut shampoo. PIPER. Jared had been dreading the idea of explaining to Demi just what had happened on that beach in Mexico for so long it was beginning to give him nightmares. How could he broach the subject? It wasn’t as if he could come right out and say ‘Demi, I kissed another woman - along with several other colleges during that staff event you encouraged me to attend.’ No - that would be childish - and stupid. There had to be a more appropriate response.
Pacing within the confines of his small apartment Jared Jones gnawed on his cheek, boa constrictor arms wrapped solidly around his middle, causing the veins within his forearms to pop. Would she be angry? Could he blame her if she was? And why was it only Piper who was in the dreams? Not Sebastian - or his best friend Dana? Was his subconscious trying to tell him something - no, no Demi was the ONLY girl for Jared, of that much he was certain. The only reason for these dreams that the tutor could conjure was the fact that he had yet to tell her - to enlighten Demi of all the dastardly deeds he had committed that night.
As if on cue, the brunette beauty came bustling through the door - the windy night having played slight havoc with her hair - allowing a half smile to encompass the entirely of Jared’s face. “Hey..” He began, shifting on his feet in order to greet her at the door, voice warm and inviting - a rather throaty gesture. Jared needed Demi - like a plant needed water and a human needed sustenance, the tutor was USELESS without the woman who evoked so much desire within him. But how could he go about even beginning to explain what happened that night? Fear gripped the tutor tightly, causing his voice to rest in his throat as opposed to comfortably within his chest; where it always sat.
A kiss enveloped the duo - passionate and heady, true to the nature of the majority of their get togethers. Though this moment was tainted; disturbed by something Jared knew he owed her - the truth. A fact that wouldn’t stay buried for much longer.
She was excited as she always was to see him - something Jared always found adorable. With knitted brows he smiled, grasping her with his massive palms, each resting against the soft fabric that contrasted his flesh and the material against her petite bicep. She rambled - as per the usual and again something Jared found rather endearing - Demetria always had something to say - and the tutor was ALWAYS willing to listen. But tonight was different; this night he had to eliminate the guilt and flush himself of this horrible sinking feeling, no matter how much it was going to upset her.
“Demi - I…We need to talk about something that happened in Mexico…” He began, hands brushing up and down the course of her arms gently, as if she were some sort of deer that needed to be lulled into a sense of security as not to be spooked. Ceruleans bled sincerity; desperate to have the woman he so desired understand just what had happened to him that dreadful night. “You remember that staff thing you wanted me to go to - well….I did. And it was fun…until…” Words caught in the tutors throat, heavy and jagged as he attempted to admit to his fascination the cause of his guilt. “Sebastian said we should ‘play a game’…Spin the bottle; I’m sure you’ve heard of it…”

Why his words were coming out in broken syllables Jared had no idea - the only thing he was certain of was that fact he was was finally getting this truth out - and the more he spoke the more he sank; but alternately the more he floated toward the surface, guilt no longer bogging him down into the swamps that were his mind. Demi would understand - she had to…right?
@demixrivers
Home sweet home. Wasn’t that what they said when they returned back from a trip, the everlasting sense of ‘take me back’ lingering off until you were on the plane for your next vacation? Demetria had forgotten that feeling… She had lost every single sense of what it was like to be a normal person – but more importantly, she had forgotten what the phrase ‘home sweet home’ was. As far as she was concerned, Room 400 was her home now – a little make up desk sat in the corner with clippings from magazines serving as moodboards for inspired looks, photographs of her previous life before she had been admitted to hospitals… It wasn’t really home. It was more like some dusty motel room that she was residing him, on the run and hiding from people who were chasing her with pitchforks.
Perhaps, that was why she had taken such a SOLACE in Jared Jones – deeming him as the best fit to become her home. He was the one that made her feel as though she could be herself, made her feel LOVED for being comfortable in her own skin… Demetria had truly hit the jackpot when she had attempted to seduce the new teacher and whilst she had initially come across as desperate, her efforts had paid off because she was HERE – no other woman, but her.
The drive back from Cancun was again, long. They had spent twenty hours a day on the road, four stops that lasted an hour each day… It was exhausting. The hours she had spent awake had been sat next to Charlie, recounting their crazy memories – such as the time she got drunk with Dante, watching Lei toss her clothes off and jump into the sea water… Even their own truths had got a little bit deep and heavy but it was all in good nature. Whilst she had company surrounding her, she didn’t truly have the person she wanted curled up next to her – cracking jokes, spinning pathetic slurs to one another about anything and everything. The closest thing she had was when staff members roamed up to the top of the bus, doing headcounts and checking that everybody was okay. Luckily, Jared’s turn seemed to fall LATE at night, when most people were sleeping – his hand brushing against her shoulder, fingers trickling over her neck for a brief moment to show his affection. Every now and then, Demetria gave his hand a squeeze or turned her chin to place a kiss against the warmth of his palm. Jared Jones honestly filled her with such a warmth, that the beauty felt giddy at the sight of him – wanting to scream her feelings from the rooftops. A month was a long time and as expected, the beauty had fallen for him much more; sinking LOWER into the quicksand that she had dived into before leaving.
Bursting through the door, tongue in cheek – GLAD to be back in the confinements of his apartment – the beauty flashed a bright smile and immediately threw her arms around him, pressing her lips to his in some DESPERATE attempt to inhale his oxygen. Given the height difference, Demetria had to stretch up on to her tiptoes, digits dancing over his upper back as she pulled him into a much deeper and tighter embrace. She had MISSED this… Just touching him. God, she could have gone without kissing him and cuddling him – she had lasted near enough four days on either side of their trip. Touching him however was a different story. Fingertips brushing over his skin was something that the beauty would never take away. It was ELECTRIFYING – it made her feel connected to him… Whilst she had barely been able to touch him on the bus, she could not get ENOUGH now. Jared was like a drug; one that she would readily dip into, tongue swirling around the bag of pills, fingertips dusted in sugar as they raised to her nose and breathed in his scent. It was silly how a TOUCH meant so much to her – but when you weren’t physically allowed to express your feelings, there still had the moments that you could share.
Breaking away from his kiss, pearls glistening against the warm lighting of lamps across his apartment – that firefly setting that she had fallen in love with – Demetria continued to go onto one of her typical tangents, one that Jared seemed to know was coming as he prepared himself… Little did she know, that Jared wasn’t preparing his ear drums for one of her rambles but bad news of his own. The beauty had always believed that she would be the one delivering bad news ( or more so, running away from it ). Her characteristics were complicated; she loved to FLIRT and that sometimes got her into sticky situations with other guys – much like the instance with Atticus where she wanted to be there for him and then later, when he ran up to her and dragged her into an embrace, KISSING her after a dare. Although it created a pang of guilt within her heart, Demi knew that she needed some sort of cover up to take any suspicions away from Jared. Daisy Buchanan was stuck in between two men – but it was CLEAR that she was only in love with one…
“So, I was thinking tonight that maybe we could FINALLY watch The Great Gatsby. It’s been one of those things that we have both referenced ever since we met and it’s still something that we haven’t watched. Like, how? We could order from that pizza place you like too… It’s up to you though as obviously – it’s your money. I owe you. Just wait until I’m out of here and I get a job. We can go out and get –“
Abrupt. Demi had been cut off by Jared, words glazed with a PANIC as his sapphires crushed under weight – crumbs of glitter scattering across his entire feature like some fragile being who needed to be nursed by what he wanted to ‘TALK’ about. Allowing her arms to glide down his body, falling back to her waist with a sense of worry, Demetria took a breath – hazels hardening on him as she tried to figure out what he was about to tell her. God, this wasn’t about the Charlie situation was it? No – it couldn’t be… Charlie wouldn’t tell anybody, even if they held a knife to his throat. What if somebody had seen them on the obstacle course? No – that couldn’t be it either… They had been extra cautious, hiding away from everyone else on shore. Had another staff member found out? Maybe, Dana had blabbed around the campfire? No – surely not… Jared trusted Dana with his life and wouldn’t have told her if he knew that would be a risk. Swallowing down the lump in her throat, the beauty came up with every REASON under the sun that he wanted to talk but N O T H I N G made sense… No situation that she could come up with sounded right, which only caused her to panic a little.
That was when his other set of words came flowing in – he was having fun, until… Until what? Although the sentence seemingly had nothing to do with her and more to do with the staff, Demetria knew that she could still be very much INVOLVED in this situation. Twiddling with her own fingers, burly palms trailing up and down her biceps as though he was babying her into what he was about to tell her – the beauty let out a sigh, wishing he would just spit it out.
Spin the bottle. Right… There weren’t many people that she cared about Jared kissing – growing lost, sinking to their will, enjoying himself. Listing everybody in her head, Demetria could only gather Sebastian, Ryder, Dana, Eden, Toni… But then she remembered that there were other female members of staff – Tara, Elise and Piper. It had to be one of them, surely. As her throat hitched, a sigh catching itself before it could inflate her lungs, the brunette broke her gaze for a minute. A thousand wrecking balls had come swinging in, their aim have the body of the building considered a DEMOLITION by the end of this meeting. Plaster boards were wiped out by the gigantic metallic balls, much like Demetria’s heart had been. They weren’t together – what did it matter? Jealousy crept through her veins – attacking at her heart with a thousand miniature daggers until she realised that she wasn’t exactly innocent either… But she REFUSED to tell Jared that, which was an unfortunate side to her disorder – the disorder that he had become HELLBENT on not existing too. They weren’t an exclusive couple and he had to act single too… Just so that his colleagues didn’t find out. It HURT, that was certain but it was probably for the best. Forcing a smile onto her face, hazels growing cold, the beauty finally turned her vision back up to Jared – realising just how B R O K E N and guilty he felt.
“I’ve heard of it… Who did you ki – um… Who did your spin land on?”

jemijones·:
A dream. Yes that would be exactly how Jared Jones would describe his encounter with Demetria Rivers as well. Something only his brain could have conjured because there was no way in hell she was anything less than PERFECT. A regular human couldn’t be so flawless; it just wasn’t possible. And yet here she was, wrapped up within the boa constrictors the tutor called arms; giggling, breathing much needed air into his other wise stagnant life. Teaching was Jared’s calling of course, there was no doubt about that - but there had been something absent for so many months, ever since he’d had to leave Amanda Jared had been missing the PASSION that came along with falling for someone new.
As the beauty lifted herself from within his grasp a smile, stupid and dozed, laced itself across his porcelain features. Ceruleans drank in her picture perfect form , admired the backside she so elegantly displayed as if the tutors bedroom had suddenly turned into some semblance of Amsterdam’s red light district and she was performing just for him. Excitement bubbled within his chest, sultry fire lapping at his insides; begging him to reach out and caress what he already had grown so familiar with in the span of the last eighteen hours. But as quickly as the night black curtain had been lifted it fell and the beauty was regailing him with more pleasant banter, requesting something a tad more simplistic than pancakes - she did know it only took ten minutes to whip up a batch right? At any rate the tutor grinned, “Toast it is.” He chirped before the bombshell danced through the door and out of sight.
Jared heaved a sigh, allowing himself to sink just a little farther into the queen sized marshmallow as his brain quickly replayed the day that had gone by. Despite the way he had acted moments after their carnivorous moment in the classroom everything had transpired so ASTONISHINGLY. Danger lurked around the corner yes, but wasn’t it worth the risk? There was no way Jared Jones was going to be able to resist Demetria rivers for the rest of his life time and lord only knew when the therapists and Robert himself were going to deem her fit to leave the institutes walls. It would be better this way, to let out the emotions that they had both been bottling up for months now. Sixty days, that had been all it took. Sixty days of breathing in her deliriously sweet aroma, of admiring her five foot stature twirling throughout the halls he inhabited; sixty days of watching her, speaking to her, KNOWING her. Just sixty simple days. Less really, weekends had to be factored, sick days Jared had used and days in which there had been no class at all. The fact of the matter was the tutor had been INFECTED with Demi since the very first moment he’d met her; from the very second her gentle digits had touched his own, Jared had been POISONED. But oh what a fantastical poison it was and one he would never seek the cure for.
Deciding enough was enough of lazing around the Jones FINALLY thrust himself from the bed, performing a few stretches of his own, allowing the ageing bones within his model physique to pop and crack into place. His mind might have been frozen in a. Twenty year old state but the tutors physical form was definitely starting to feel the repercussions of thirty three years on this earth.
Drawing a fresh breath of air into his lungs Jared snatches his phone from the charging dock and moved forward through his bedroom door frame, through the living room and finally into his chrome toaster; all the while making a mental grocery list - he needed more bread. Shifting on his feet Jared carried himself over to the Keurig where he popped a pod inside and quickly found a mug to capture the roasted bean liquid. He had selected another NERDY gem; a Snow White cup which read only a few words in block font, ‘DRINK IN THE DARK SIDE’ which was punctuated with a small version of Darth Vaders helmet.
It was as the coffee was coming to a sputter that he felt the dancing fingertips of the woman who had enthralled him. With a turn of his head angled slightly over his shoulder knowing the beauty would be placed on tip toes to reach, Jared pressed his lips to her own, feeling yet another surge of warmth travel throughout his extremities; good GOD she was impeccable. For a moment the tutor wondered if his feelings for Amanda had ever been THIS strong. Had he felt as if he was consistently floating along the ground when he’d known her? Did the very sight of her bring a rush of jet packed butterflies tumbling throughout his stomach? Was the sound of her voice and her laugh akin to the most beautiful symphony he had ever heard? Honestly; Jared couldn’t remember. His brain was flooded with all things Demetria and that was exactly the way he wanted it.
“What can I say, I’m kinda perfect.”

He beamed, trademark grin tugging at the corners of his lips, sapphires a light with cheer. The tutor wasn’t a narcissistic person - not by any means but you didn’t have to be wrapped up in your own image to have a bit of CONFIDENCE, something Jared had had to grow into honestly. In high school he was so meek the idea of talking to people quite nearly terrified the hell out of him. It was only in his last year there or more over his first year of college that the Jones really started coming into himself; recognizing how much he truly did have to offer and just how much women around him ( men included ) seemed to appreciate his looks. “Under done or not at all, I can’t stand burnt toast.” He agreed, shifting again Jared moved to grip Demi’s cup of coffee, lacing it with the one milk one sugar she enjoyed it with. Plucking a spoon from the utensil drawer he gave it a bit of a stir and delivered it tot he goddess, more than happy to give her the boost she would need in order to get through the day.
Do you remember what I said to you the first day we met? There are only the pursued, the pursuing, the busy and the tired… Yeah well, this morning, I am TIRED. A hearty laugh echoed from the tutors burly chest, smile lighting up his chiseled features like the many thousand lights adorning a Christmas tree. FUNNY, had he mentioned Demetria was funny? Beaming now Jared gave a short shrug, a smug look now replacing that of ultimate joy. “My fault - I tuckered you right out. I’ll take it easy next time.” A wink followed suit whilst he bit into his own slice of slightly under done toast.
The chemistry between the Jones and the Rivers couldn’t be argued - it was palpable, something one might be able to physically reach out and caress with their own hands. And this of course meant they were going to have to be very cautious in the classroom setting; weary of prying eyes and nosey students who deemed themselves the Sherlock Holmes types. But Jared had been in this situation before - unfortunately he was USED to keeping part of his life a secret.
Just the a vibrating within the tutors pyjama pocket sounded off, to which he retrieved the small device and realized his ‘you’ll be late if you don’t shower NOW’ alarm blared confidently. Ten minutes - that was all Demetria had left. “But you’d better change gears and become the pursuing - you’re about to be late.” He said, brows dancing upwards as he gestured toward the door.
What can I say, I’m kinda perfect – there was NO arguing with that. Jared stood completely honest and true with his wording. Although the sarcasm was palpable, Demetria could not ignore the confidence that had seemingly come pouring into his personality within the last twenty four hours. There was something so POISED about his attitude – as though his entire mindset had changed ever since caving and giving into the spell that the beauty had cast upon him, although she couldn’t be at complete CREDIT for that. Jared was the one who had urged her to follow him into his classroom; DESPERATION dancing along the tip of his tongue as he found some way to peel her away from Jackson Trudeau. She couldn’t entirely blame him. It was something that she had wanted for a long time, despite not acting on it… Although that was only because she was scared to lose him – despite never really HAVING him.
Things had changed since one another. Not that Demi had become his property – no, she didn’t belong to anybody. Over night however, she had willingly pressed her hand into her chest, fingers rummaging through her ribcage in an attempt to locate her heart, furthermore – ripping it out and handing it to Jared as though it was a birthday gift, delicately wrapped with a silver bow atop. With her waist pressed against his kitchen island, the beauty pressed her slice of toast in between her teeth – pearls on display in a smile as she gazed up towards him. It had been a continuous thought playing within her mind all morning, yet he was still to notice that she wasn’t in her OWN shirt… That had already taken HOME in his wardrobe whilst her bra was displayed across his pillow as a surprise. With this in mind, that was going to be hard to ignore the second their eyes cast upon each other in class. Jared taught plenty of sixteen year olds; who were all probably beginning to question their feelings towards others, thinking of sex and all of the CORRUPT thoughts that came with hormones… There had to be someone who would recognise the looks exchanged between the tutor and his therapist – but what was a look at the end of the day? It wasn’t like their hands were going to glide along the others, public displays of affection taking place as they both RE-ENACTED what happened against his very wall and desk. As soon as she walked in through his door, the beauty couldn’t P R O M I S E that she would act as though it happened… It was at the SURFACE of her mind, wanting to do it again and again.
Swallowing down the lump of toast, her spare hand wrapping around the coffee mug, Demi took a few hefty gulps – the shortened timeframe sat at the back of her mind. It was CRAZY thinking that one day, this might be their life. Jared was going to be up and ready, mentally preparing himself for the stress of teaching whilst Demi was by his side – about to get ready for her day of college ( if she chose to go back ). That was when it dawned upon her; she had never had the COLLEGE conversation with Jared. Then again, the beauty didn’t want to discuss how she had started and dropped out, the entire MESS being the reason she had ended up in a hospital like Brielle. Alternatively, she could have been getting ready to go to work too… What if she ended up as a therapist? Working somewhere like Brielle, where should be alongside her best friend, her PARTNER IN CRIME every single day… It was a beautiful thought, but for the time being – they needed to focus on getting her better, away from the confinements of prison and into his arms as a free woman.
One milk, one sugar – under done toast… All Jared would have to do now to find his way to her heart was cook her bacon just below CRISPY, buttering one side of bread and coating the rest in tomato sauce. Though, they were in synchronisation with one enough to some crazy extent, that she was sure he would get it PERFECT on first attempt. It was though they were made for one another. Perhaps, things were meant to go horribly wrong with Aiden and Ricky. Maybe, she was never meant to develop feelings for Keegan, Tristan or Carter. It was GOD writing her path, ensuring that she was available the day that Jared Jones came soaring into her life. Demetria believed that Jared had came into her life – ready to be her MATCH… They held the same interests, the same humour – was there anything that they didn’t have in common, despite the fact that she wasn’t as MUCH of a nerd as he was? Still, there was plenty of time to change that; they had YEARS to come… If not, an entire ETERNITY.
As soon as the beeping echoed from his pocket, the beauty shoved the remainder of toast into the confinements of her lips – jaw opening and clenching in some desperate bid to finish her ‘breakfast’, knowing that she still had a good few gulps of coffee to swallow, washing down any leftover crumbs. With her palm pressed to her chest as though it was MAGICALLY helping the food ( and caffeine ) travel down to her stomach, the beauty shook her head – a small giggle erupting from her throat as she gave her BEST impression of Daisy Buchanan; New York accent in tow as her East Egg personality came into display. “Oh, you want too much! How dare you rush a girl off when she’s in the middle of her coffee? I’m kidding – but that was a good pun, I admire that.” Cocking one eyebrow, both palms encapsulating the NERD mug that he had handed to her today, the brunette turned the china upward as she finished the little droplets circling the bottom of the ceramic dish – placing it on his kitchen side as though it was an empty shot glass slamming against the bar. It wasn’t as though she needed to grab her bag and sling it over shoulder but she did need to slip on her CINDERELLA SLIPPERS ( aka converse trainers ). A palm wrapped it’s way around the handle – ready to open the door but instead, she spun around – golden hues glimmering in his direction as each diamante sparkle within her orbs signified signs of love and RELUCTANCY in leaving. She didn’t want to go; the warm brown that surrounded her irises were enough to show her gratitude for letting her stay – lips curving upward into a smile as she pressed a singular kiss against his lip… Though, that singular kiss turned into another and another – cherries pressing against his lips over and over, as though she couldn’t get enough of the DRUG that he was pressing to her petals. “I’ll see you in class, Mr Jones. Bye.”

It upset Jared to know Demi didn’t think of herself as a good person. How could she not? There were so many instances he could produce for her in only the short span of knowing her a handful of months to prove she was - but then; ones greatest critique was ones self. Was it that strange to think Demi thought less of herself? ESPECIALLY being cooped up in a place like this where ninety percent of the time you were told how many things were wrong with her? It dawned on Jared then that he had yet to meet Demetria’s therapist - a person who would more or less be responsible for her current head space. What had THEY been doing to better her own self image? Clearly not a whole hell of a lot - at least in the tutors opinion.
Stripped from this train of thought Jared collapsed into a small fit of laugher as Demi gave her excuses for being late. A hedgehog - honestly that was the most adorable thing Jared Jones had ever heard. He would have commented but the smile was quickly being drained from his lips as the beauty took on a new sensual phase. The words slipping from her lips like tantalizing fingertips of their own, cascading over Jared’s soul causing him to nearly shudder as goose flesh began to rise across the alabaster plains of his skin. There was something in Demi’s voice that could make the tutor weak at the knees and all at once he was very happy he was already laying in bed.
Melting beneath her kiss Jared allowed Demi to lead, his tongue following suit with hers as it flecked this way and that; drawing a new kind of warmth up through the tutors entire being. Cursed and blessed was something the Jones felt would accurately describe his current situation. Blessed because he had been gifted DEMI; a goddess among men - truly a being who had fallen from the sky itself in order to bestow beauty and happiness unto others. Cursed for the obvious; that he could not show this goddess off as his own - could not parade her around on his arm like a trophy of the highest award. For the second time in his life Jared was being stripped of the thing that made him happy by having to sheath it within darkness like it was something dirty.
As the kiss came to it’s natural end Jared gripped Demi dreamily - as if she would dissipate or float away should his arms not encapsulate her wholly. “…Definitely go with the hedgehog…” The tutor chuckled after a moment of sultry silence, once again allowing himself to live in Demi’s space for as many moments as she would allow. After another beat the tutor heaved a sigh, dropping his arms from the woman’s tiny frame; allowing them to bounce slightly against the bed as they flopped. “Fine - leave me; I’ll just lie here…alone…by myself.” Another dramatic sigh filtered through his parted petals, exaggerated pout forming against his lips as he fell back into the pillows.
Though when he was certain the beauty would try to raise herself from the bed the tutor made his move, tackling her slightly, once again wrapping both python arms around her - refusing to let her leave the comfort of his bed for just a few more precious moments.
Chuckles lifted into the air like a light hearted symphony; Jared’s playing in tune with Demi’s as the rolled against each other on the mattress. Moments more passed and the tutor realized Demi would have to leave sooner rather than later - best to stop prolonging the inevitable; he was going to see her in a few hours after all. “Alright, alright - go ahead; you get dressed - I’ll start breakfast.”
It didn’t particularly matter that Demetria had her off days; it was one of the downfalls to the evergrowing narcissism that had begun to BLOSSOM inside of her. The beauty had always been vain – she had always put herself above others so perhaps, narcissism wasn’t the correct word to use. How she had only been diagnosed with the one disorder was almost a miracle. Demetria had so many things wrong with her – not that she would ever admit, that it was almost a SURPRISE that her name hadn’t been ridden with a long list of other dirty diseases attached to her patient file… Mental health was something that had always been frowned upon. Hell – Demi was the kind of person to ridicule somebody in school for being gothic and depressing. Still, it hadn’t crossed her mind that mental illness was not a joking matter – not that she did it now, but it was almost IRONIC that she was the one to end up in a hospital as such. Although she had lots of deep, dark secrets about her soul – the beauty believed that she was truly on the road to recovery. Her attitude was shifting or was that just the happiness bursting through her being, having woken up next to Jared Jones?
It was a DREAM – that was for certain… It was never something that she believed would happen, particularly with how things had ended in his classroom yesterday – which STILL didn’t feel like a reality. If wake up call wasn’t so important, then the brunette wouldn’t have rushed off… She would have stayed here, urging for him to call in sick and although, she probably could have crept back to the building much later – there was no point in even RISKING it.
Another splay of delight scattered across her features, cherries curving upward at his little jab about the hedgehog comment – a short spout of laughter getting caught within the morning huskiness of her throat before she rolled over slightly, facing away from him but shuffling closer backwards into a spooning position. Demetria wanted to get ALL of the affection in before she had to be on her way… She was DRUNK from the spell that he had cast upon her – creating a bubble around them where nothing else on the outside world mattered ( just like McGonagall had in part two of the Deathly Hallows – an impregnatable forcefield ). Only their private little bubble was definitely penetrable – anybody could have burst it and it would have been no surprise for Robert to come along with his gigantic needle, ready to shatter the lives of two individuals who so clearly needed each other.
The concept of not having the tutor around was FOREIGN… A life without Jared Jones would have been no life at all – even if they had only known each other for four months. When you were confined to one space, seeing the same people every single day, emotions were heightened. It was much easier to trust people, to despise people, to fall in love… Not that she was quite there – not yet – but their story was going to be EPIC. There had always been tales of people who didn’t belong together… That was where every true love story began. If they were going by chronological order, then there would have been Romeo and Juliet, Jack and Rose, Gatsby and Daisy, Noah and Allie… The list went on. The entire point however, was that every single couple who had PROVED their love for one another were not meant to be together – yet every single obstacle that came catapulting their way, was overcame. Albeit, not every story ended happily. In fact, Noah and Allie were the only two who had the opportunity to grow old together, this did not cloud Demetria’s vision for her fairy tale ending. She had found her prince charming – even if he was just a witty, sarcastic, socially inept tutor at the local mental institution.
“The hedgehog it is… I’ll just tell Ryder that Spike was getting a little lonely and he needed some company. He definitely strikes me as an animal lover – the kind who would rescue one and take it to the shelter. He better not steal my hedgehog though, otherwise I’ll have to find another excuse for sneaking out of my room late at night. You’ll have to let me know if you see him rummaging through the bushes on your way back from the gym.”
A giggle elicited from her lungs – particularly as Jared wrestled her body back down to the bed, arms wrapping around her and pinning her down against the mattress springs so that she wouldn’t be able to escape the strength of his body… He seemed to know the importance of her getting back to the building and even though, they would be back with one another in two and a half hours – neither could seem to get enough of the other. Continually drinking their sights in, the never ending supply of ECSTASY dancing on the tip of their tongues as they gazed upon one another with an intoxication, Demetria stretched across Jared and pressed the home button on his phone. A small grunt left the folds of her lips as she finally pulled herself up – his grasp flopping to the bed as his lips pouted like some kind of child. Playfully putting her hand in front his face so she could not be swayed by his act, the beauty leaned in and pressed a kiss to his forehead, finally dragging herself out of bed – arms stretching up into the air. As one palm encapsulated the other, raising directly above her head and arching her back until it made a small click – Demetria wasn’t going to try and hide the black material from riding up her waist, her perfectly supple cheeks there to remind Jared of what his mornings could be like in the future. “I have to be back in twenty minutes tops, so no fancy pancakes like last time – even though that sounds SO good right now.” And with that, she danced out of the room, fingertips grazing against the doorway as she did so. Luckily, Demetria already knew the layout of Jared’s apartment. It wasn’t the first time her size five feet had roamed along the wooden floorboards – her digits dancing across the walls as she refamiliarized herself with its rooms, until she had come across the dryer. Fingertips wrapped their way around the handle, bending down to collect her clothes – jeans, shirt, bra… She would just have to deal with her wet shoes – hopefully it had been RAINING outside.
Having shuffled herself into her jeans, denim now cloaking her bare thighs as fingertips found the zipper and button – the brunette tiptoed into his bathroom, splashing cool water over her features as she looked into the mirror, a small smile lifting to her lips. Would it be wrong if she used his toothbrush? It wasn’t as though their mouths hadn’t explored one another’s bodies… Demetria definitely felt connected enough to him to use his toothbrush but that was a boundary that she wasn’t just willing to cross – despite how desperately she wanted to make herself feel welcome in this apartment. Settling for mouthwash instead, the beauty grasped the bottle and screwed its lid off – pouring a small amount onto her tongue before swirling it around the entire cave of teeth and tongue. Honestly, the fact that she felt at HOME here was warming… Jared wanted to make her feel welcome, she could tell that. Perhaps, that was why she had left his shirt on – fully intending on sneaking out whilst wearing it still. It wouldn’t hurt to have a spare shirt of hers here… For reasons. The idea behind leaving another object of clothing in Jared’s apartment was different however – she just wanted to see the smirk that spread across his lips later that morning when he walked into class, her hazels shying away from making things too obvious for the rest of the students. Prancing back into his bedroom now that she had freshened up, Demetria fluffed out his pillows and drew his duvet back – making the bed, just like she had the last time she stayed, despite neither of them making the bed. It was no secret that Demetria liked to remain a tidy person; which was why she had gone through every effort of making sure his apartment was clean the last time he let her come… It was a token of GRATITUDE.
Now that his room was tidy, her shirt packed safely away in his wardrobe – there was room for one last finishing touch. Draping her burgundy, laced bra across his pillow, the beauty positioned it as though it was some origami towel swan, like in the hotels… Biting on her lip as she did so, Demetria couldn’t help but turn out of Jared’s bedroom and walk towards his kitchen with her hazels ALIGHT – the smell of toast spreading throughout the room. It was only small, but still appreciated. It wasn’t as if she was about to go back to Brielle and be forced into sitting through breakfast – although she wasn’t sure that she could sit through another morning of lumpy porridge and bruised fruit.
As she hopped into his space, fingertips grazing over his back – whilst his body was still covered in his pyjamas, the beauty pressed a kiss to his shoulder blade, her hand snatching away the piece of toast that he had lifted for her. “Thank you…” Taking another bite, her back resting against the kitchen island as he turned to face her, the beauty scrunched up her face, eyes fluttering close at the taste of it. “God, you’ve done it just slightly under done too. I love toast when it’s not completely finished. Is there any other way to eat it?” With her fingers covering her lips, despite the fact that she had spoken with her mouthful, the beauty gave a swallow – hand now disappearing as it cleared her features. Jared was such an AMAZING person – Demi truly didn’t understand what she did to deserve somebody like him. He was a gentleman, he was caring, kind… He really was the full package; any other woman who had not gone for him before was missing out – to the maximum. “I know I’m going to be seeing you at nine, but I don’t want to leave. Can I just ‘go missing’ and stay here forever?”
Demetria knew that she couldn’t do that… Jared’s apartment would have been one of the first places that they would have looked for her – knowing fully well that the beauty had found a friendship within the male… The best kind of relationships were where you saw your partner as your BEST FRIEND and luckily for them both, they had a connection that spread much further than lust and romance – they understood one another on an intellectual level, giggled at each other’s quips and jokes. To any other adult in Brielle, it would have looked as though Demetria was LUCKY to have been paired with a staff member who she gelled with so quickly… But none of them knew the TRUTH. They didn’t know how really, the bombshell was longing for a future with the tutor and that he felt the same. Hell – one day, this could be her future. Living in this apartment, morning toast with one another as they practically had to peel the other from the bed. Jared could fuck off though, if he thought he was gaining a ‘morning run’ companion from it all. Loving Jared was singlehandedly, the best thing that Demetria Rivers was going to do… Because by doing that, she was going to mend herself and his – ridding them of the emotional scars left behind from a past they were too afraid to repeat.
“Do you remember what I said to you the first day we met? There are only the pursued, the pursuing, the busy and the tired… Yeah well, this morning, I am TIRED.”

“It’s not the first time I’ve been told that.” Jared smirked, eyes widening slightly as if to emphasize his point before the lids of his sapphire hues relaxed again. Yet again the tutor began to mirror the image of his lady [ love ] interest and began to cascade fingertips over her flesh; water droplets on a window pane trickling down the supple tones of Demi’s flesh.
Sleep had come easily for the raven haired male as well - albeit his unconscious had been mostly dreamless but he would settle for a severe lack of any kind of sleepy hallucination if it meant he was able to wake up next to her in the morning. How different would it be when Demetria wasn’t a patient at Brielle? When instead of having to sneak off and ensure she was back in time for room checks she would be rushing to head off to her job - or perhaps SCHOOL. Lips turned upward at this thought for a moment; how entirely adorable would it be to send Demi off to college every morning? Assist her with her studies? Ensure she achieved the highest grade possible? And at the very end how extremely p r o u d could Jared be when she walked across the stage of whatever school she had chosen and graduated. He would take her somewhere brilliant to celebrate of course. A five star restaurant followed by the most intensely romantic evening she had ever experienced; that much Jared was certain of. He may not have much experience in the social department but what he DID have in spades was the collected romantic knowledge of every writer who had ever so much as sneezed in the direction of the subject. Jared Jones was a Casanova - just not a womanizer.
“I’ll happily take credit for that.” Jared chuckled as she giggled, the vibration of her chest running in smooth motion with his own. Afterwards he began to press a series of kisses against her head, trailing them in no specific order - delivering them as if they were a random assortment of surprises she would no doubt be excited to receive. It was as he was delivering this series of kisses that the Jones began to notice a stiffening within her body, a rigidity that had not been there a few moments ago. Had he done something? Said something wrong as he as so very apt to do? No - that couldn’t be possible, the tutor had barely spoken ten words to her this morning, how could it be that he had put his foot in his mouth ALREADY. Solace came when the beauty opened her mouth once more, enlightening him as to her thought process; allowing a barely audible sigh of relieve to pass through his lips.
JAX. She had been thinking about a way to end it. All at once his trademark smirk slipped over his lips, drawing up one side a tad bit higher than the other and while he was sure he should feel a little bad for the Trudeau, Jared just couldn’t find it within his being to pity him enough. There had been no doubt in the tutors mind that the other patient had been using Demi, bending her to his wills and syphoning her good will in order to make HIMSELF feel better. There was a hint of quiet rage that flickered within Jared’s chest at the thought - but it dosed itself just as quickly as he was reminded Demi wanted nothing to do with Jax, not even to use him as a cover for their forbidden romance. “Because,” Jared began lightly, brushing slender fingers up along her jawline, removing stray tendrils of hair that had decided to stick themselves to her perfect flesh. “You’re a good person. And you don’t want to hurt him. I’d say I felt bad for him but…” Drawing in a little closer Jared tilted the beauties chin upward in order to take her lips in a morning kiss.·
Despite the fact they both had morning breath it was still a rather sweet experience and one the tutor wouldn’t trade for a hundred kisses with a spearmint breathed supermodel. “I don’t…does that make me the bad guy?” He grinned again, sapphires shimmering with slight mischief as they were apt to do.
Brushing the tip of his nose against her own in an Eskimo kiss he had grown so fond of the tutor lived in her space for a moment, breathing her air and growing intoxicated yet again by her very scent. “If he gives you any grief let me know - I’d be more than happy talk some sense into Mr. Trudeau.” Still slightly drunk on her entire being Jared had no issue playing the villain if Demi needed him to be; besides what could Jackson honestly do to him? Throw a punch? Shout obscenities? Both options would lead to immediate punishment and there was a tiny piece of Jared that enjoyed the idea; though the majority wasn’t exactly that petty.
Moments passed with Jared still slightly propped up on his elbow, invading the beauties space like a welcomed intruder. The gaze held within his sapphires was nothing but admiration; complete and utter INFATUATION and she was able to read it as clearly as a billboard against his features. When she spoke, imploring him to quit it with the romanticizing look Jared could only grin and cock his head to the side slightly. “What look?” He smirked before instantly amplifying his puppy dog eyes, mock pout sliding over his lips as brows drew together and upward in the centre. The look collapsed within a few moments, a laugh lifting through the air supplied by the tutor as he let his head fall into the crook of her neck, displaying small kisses up and down the expanse of her exposed flesh. “Just a few more minutes - I still need to convince myself this isn’t an insanely vivid dream.” He uttered against her skin, voice hot and dripping with seduction.
Defenceless to the torture he inflicted on her, the bombshell allowed Jared to take control – her lips complying and following their dance masters, softly and slowly – a burning passion inside of her igniting within her stomach. Although her lips curved to either side, the beauty couldn’t help but allow her hazels to falter. As much as she wanted to believe his words, she simply couldn’t. Demetria Rivers was not a good person. That was all part of the facet that Jared wished to instil in her. If he had known of the horrors she had indulged in throughout high school, then he wouldn’t be saying that now – nor would he even be entertaining her DEADLY ways in the comforts of his room. The brunette was a bully… She was mean, conniving and downright evil. Had Jared known of the things that she had done – he probably would have turned around and ran straight back into the arms of Amanda. As much as she refused to admit it, she knew that she was sick – the more she denied it, the more believable it became that she was perfectly fine, just misunderstood.
The beauty allowed this hateful thought to vanish – although, not entirely – the second he referred to himself as a bad guy. A hopeless smile cracked across her porcelain, a breath escaping from her petals, releasing as an incredibly short chuckle. Of course, it didn’t make him a bad guy; it made him HUMAN. Jared had been interested in Demetria from day one – it was only natural for him to feel a few inches of jealousy. He had WON… Although Demi had been wrapped in Jackson’s arms twenty four hours ago, she was now laid in Jared’s bed; promising him a future and tossing around a few ideas as to how she could end it with Jax. What was she even going to say? It wasn’t as if she could roll in like the HEARTLESS bitch she had always been. Sorry, I’m just not feeling it anymore. Then again, she could always tell the truth – explain that she was falling head over heels for the tutor she worked with. That wasn’t an option, despite how much she wanted to scream it from the rooftops.
“It doesn’t make you a bad guy – no… Did you just admit to feeling jealous though? I didn’t realise Jared Jones could feel such negative emotions. It makes me question how you and I ended up here though… You’re so amazing and I’m – well, I’m not a good person. I was awful in high school and sure, I know that was two years ago but it hasn’t changed. I’m still that mean girl that walks around the corridors; intimidating, abrupt and… Do you know what? This isn’t a morning conversation. This is a drunk, two in the morning, I hate myself conversation.”
Deciding to jump from her own words and hop straight back into the topic of staying a while longer, the beauty buried her into the pillow – as if to act that her prior monologue was non-existent. Demetria didn’t want to go into all of the gruesome details about the lives she ruined in high school… She wasn’t exactly proud of the fact that she had stolen a couple of boyfriends, split up one girls’ parents, got another put into the care system and was just downright rude to people. Having been a teacher, she was sure that Jared had dealt with those kind of pupils – and the last thing she wanted to do was disappoint him. Guilt circled her stomach, which was why she was so eager to jump straight into the fact that Jared didn’t want her to leave – forcing a smile onto her cherries. Having endured his series of kisses, her neck tingling with tantalisation, the beauty shuffled downwards and settled herself again, wanting so desperately to just STAY. Perhaps, answering his statement was going to be the best way to avoid talking about her salty high school experience.
“Okay – just a few more minutes but if you make me late, you’re going to have to think up some really good excuse. Something like, I lost my earring that my great nan gave me or I heard a hedgehog crying from my window and my compassionate side kicked in. Or I could tell them the truth –”
Eyes widened with exaggeration – her old smile soon returning to her features once she realised exactly how LAME she sounded, coming up with excuses as though she was some child – desperately clambering for any reason for being late to class, the beauty chuckled until her head was buried back into his chest again.
“I was in that SEXY tutors’ bed – wearing nothing but his shirt, my bare thighs pressed against his whilst his knuckles were intertwined with my hair – lips wondering across each inch of my skin as though he was devouring a silver platter dessert. Last night, we shared a shower and the bathroom got steamy in more than one way. He pinned me against the tiles, stripped me of each layer of clothing, threw me into his bed and brought me to life – in ways that nobody else could. And guess what – I’m going to go back, again and again. Is that enough detail for you, Ryder?”
After pressing her lips to his with a newfound fire circulating her tongue, pearls curved into a sadistic smile, hot breath rolling from her tongue and spilling against his own skin, the beauty mused – her sensual tone dripping from her tongue as though honey had been heated and drizzled across pancakes, prepared freshly for him. Regardless, it was so easy being around Jared… even if they were polar opposites – but that was the beautiful thing about it. They could balance one another out. And strictly speaking, they weren’t exactly polar opposites. They shared the same taste in literature; classic yet contemporary. They could both be nerds together – more so, Jared than Demetria but nevertheless. And they had both had their own histories, covered in scars and wounds that still appeared, but enough life experience to console one another. Whilst Jared was sensitive, caring and gentle – Demetria was harsh, abrupt and strongminded. She stood up for herself and what she believed in, in ways that Jared could not… Just like he could heal somebody through words of kindness and understanding, in ways that Demi could not. Together, they could develop themselves – BETTER themselves. It was going to take a little time but together, they would GROW – just like falling asleep – ever so slowly, then suddenly all at once.

jemijones·:
He considered it - honestly he did. Throwing Demetria down on the inflatable floor and having his way with her was far from the last though on the tutors mind - but the timing just wasn’t right. A quickie was one thing but considering he had a perfectly good bed waiting for them back within the confines of his cabin and as much fun as it would be to do what he wanted right here and now it would be far more rewarding to have her then; no matter how badly the bottom half of himself was arguing the opposite.
“No one would believe you were that clumsy.”
He whispered, voice husky as he spoke. Allowing her tongue to over take his own Jared was swept once more into the sea that was Demetria Rivers - her hands cascading over his body causing his brain to turn foggy - her lips acting as the light house guiding his lost ship into the safe bay. Rubber squeaked subtly under the pressure of his wet fingertips as he gripped a tad harder - like pressure against a balloon. A subtle moan escaped from between Jared’s parted lips, electric jolts passing through each and everyone of his nerve endings; his heart beat quickening with every moment they spent consuming each other.
Each kiss she pressed against his jaw line had Jared growing dizzier still - to the point where he very nearly did commit the act he was so intent on holding off. Surely they could spare a moment; a minute, an HOUR - would anyone really notice they’d been missing for such a short amount of time? It was as these naughty thoughts passed over his head that Demetria’s voice was heard yet again, this time proclaiming she wished to take the course full on again - what a god damn TEASE.
With yet another groan, this one more in the vein of disappointment than sexual desire the tutor followed suit, allowing the petite beauty to drag him through the two nestled inflated pillars; sending them both crashing down into the refreshing waters below. Their hands stayed clasped until they reached the surface and split only when the two were sent rocketing into the depths; only to bob up thanks to the life vests she’d insisted they wear. It was the rules after all - but there was something within Jared the appreciated the fact she’d been the one to hand them out as opposed to his always having to be the narc as some would call it.
The colder water had done it’s job - paired with the force behind their entrance all hint of Jared’s excitement had effectively been drained away, leaving him flaccid once more and thankfully so. What would have happened if someone had witnessed that uncomfortable occurrence - how could he have talked himself out of that one? Finding himself relieved once again that no one else would be permitted on the course without his say so the tutor heaved a sigh of relief - whilst at the same time shielding himself from the splash that ensued thanks to his brunette lover.
“Halfway there - keep moving Rivers!” Jared chimed, smirk once more settling against his features though he tried his best to summon his most convincing boot camp tone. He swum ahead slightly, taking hold of the rope ladder that connected to the next platform, allowing Demi to climb up first - granting himself yet another moment to appreciate her assets before clambering up after her. The field before them held several inflated pillars closely knit together. The objective; get through the human sized inflatable dicks without getting bounced around too badly. You’d need to be a little agile for this obstacle - but the kids loved bouncing from one post to the other - the sound of laugher something that still rang rather clearly in the tutors mind.
“See you on the other side!” He grinned, taking off into the mine field of erect posts, slipping between one another - the beams nearly bending to his will as he cruised through the objective.
Now that they had committed the SINFUL act in his classroom once, doing it anywhere else almost seemed harmless. Not that Demetria was stupid enough to believe that – she would still remain cautious, but the initial fear of pursuing him had dissipated. There was still a danger surrounding them though; the inflatable was SHARK INFESTED, only the predators were on the resort as opposed to surrounding them, ready to tear them apart. There was a truth in his words, after all. Everybody knew that Demi treaded with caution; unless it was her mouth that was doing the running. It was unlikely that she would come off the course with a sprained ankle, but accidents were PRONE to happening – which is why they had thrown themselves at one another in the classroom… It wasn’t a mistake – their growing feelings were the opposite of a mistake but had they been caught, Jared may have argued otherwise. Having teased her beau before pulling him in the next direction she wanted ( yet again ), the beauty followed his non verbal command and gripped onto the rope ladder – biceps pulling herself up out of the water and into the warmth of the air again.
She could feel droplets of water leaking from her mane, pouring down the dip in her back and adding to the handfuls of liquid that would have come waterfalling out from her shorts had she wrung them out. Reaching the top of the platform, her hazels taking in the new scenery as Jared sprung to his feet with an excitement – Demi chewed on her lower lip, admiring the spring in his footstep as he went fighting through the next obstacle. Shaking her head COMPETITIVELY, the beauty soon went running in after him – her small frame seemingly being thrown around more than his. Bouncing from post to post, her arms colliding with each new jump she gave, a giggle erupted from her lips, watching him GLIDE through as though it was effortless. Bursting through the final set of ‘inflatable dicks’, she looked up towards Jared – her chest pounding, whilst she tried to catch her breath for a moment. How could he just battle through everything without getting worn out?
Viridescents landed on the next part, a variety of different heighted platforms – almost like stepping stones in between the four metre gap to the next side. Luckily, Demetria had a thing for balance. It seemed as though cheerleading had come in handy now. She had always been the flyer back in high school; the STAR of the show being tossed into the air and performing tricks like a deadman, a basket toss or even cupies… She had been the CAPTAIN for the first few years of high school but with an ever-growing list of extra curriculars to emphasise the fact that she was much better than any girl in her school, she stepped down and chose one of her friends to do so instead – allowing Demi to take a backseat and focus on other things. Either way, her extensive knowledge from anything performance related was now coming into hand. “Watch and learn…” And with that, she took a leap and landed onto the first platform – slowly raising to her feet with her arms held outward to keep her balance. The aim of this challenge was to stay on the platforms, otherwise you would have gone falling into the waters below and your time on the course would have been have been finished. Wanting to show off a little, the beauty hopped to the next platform with a confidence – not thinking about being plunged into the waters below. As much as she wanted to do a cartwheel or handstand onto the next one, it just wasn’t worth the risk. She had to SHOW Jared that she was capable of completing this next obstacle. Another leap, and another leap – before she knew it, she had reached the end of that obstacle, giving a quivering breath as she reached the end, now showing off with a one handed cartwheel, the beauty tilted her head to the side after throwing her wet waves over to her back.
There was no way Jared was going to beat that – not unless he walked from platform to platform in strides without having to pause and evaluate his next step… She was sure he would give it ago – taking the risk of falling in, just to provide her with a few minutes of laughter. Although she wasn’t surprised, Demetria watched him cross over the stepping stones; his toned thighs barely quivering with each new stride he gave, despite the platforms trembling under his body. Placing her thumb in between her teeth and lightly biting on it, golden orbs watching with SUSPENSE as he reached closer and closer towards her, teeth gritting together in DISBELIEF that he had made it by moving as confidently and quickly as he had. Clasping her hands together with excitement as he smoothly sauntered over to her, determination glazing his sapphires, the beauty took a step forward – placing a palm on either side of his waist, fingertips dancing against his skin. “How? How?! You did that so quickly… No balance, no –“ And before she could finish her speech, the beauty pulled away from him – bringing her hands back to her own hips and backstepping just a few steps before smiling over to him and whispering the words ‘sorry’. “I just can’t help it – god help YOU when we’re in your cabin later.”

Indeed, god help Jared Jones – Demetria was ready to eat him ALIVE. All she knew was that later on, she wasn’t going to be able to take her eyes or hands off of him.

Her answer was enough to soothe the Jones, and allow him to fall rather quickly into a deep slumber - the result of which was only broken the next morning when his cell phone alarm began to blare. In true nerd fashion the opening sound track of STARWARS came blasting through the tiny cell speakers and for a moment Jared was still in dream land.
Demi stood before him - clad in the classic Princess Leia bikini attire; minus the buns, and was beckoning him forward. With a deluded grin Jared took the necessary steps to greet her - only to find she had disappeared from his grasp upon arrival. It was then the day light began to trickle between his closed lids and as a result elicited a hearty groan from his chest. With a deep breath inwards the tutor reached over toward the bedside table and swiped the alert OFF.
For a second Jared forgot about the beauty within his bed; her form an after thought as he realized his dream had not been all fiction. Demi and he had consummated their love the night prior - and her weight against his chest in this very moment was anything but fantasy.
Running a massive palm over his face - removing any sleep that had nestled itself between his eyes during the night the tutor gazed down toward his chest, bubbles of glee erupting throughout as he witnessed the Rivers girl begin to wake up. “Sorry.” He muttered, drawing both hands down over her small form - from shoulders to lower back, obsessing over every inch of her body. “I usually go for a run in the morning.” He whispered into her hair, bestowing the crown of her head with multiple tiny kisses.
It was so very surreal to have Demi here with him now - as if he had plucked her straight from the dream world and attached her to his body. If this was some kind of incredibly lucid dream the tutor would be alright with that too - though as his brain continued to adjust from sleep to reality he knew this was no delusion. “How did you sleep?” He asked gently, ceruleans now lit by the gentle beams of sun that flittered in through the sliver left open by the curtains - half illuminating the room - half encouraging the pair to stay tangled up in their beautiful intertwinement.
Jared’s alarm had been set for 6:30am which gave him plenty of time to wake, dress, run, come home, shower and begin to get ready for the day at Brielle - he wondered what time Demi usually woke up; what the protocol was for a patient within the walls. Did she ever sleep in? What was her routine? So many questions flooded through his brain it was a wonder Jared was able to keep his mouth shut.
As the CRASHING score of the Star Wars soundtrack filtered in through her eardrums, the beauty squinted her eyes, stirring ever so slightly as her body shuffled – absorbing the warmth from her bed before drifting off lightly again. Perhaps, she had been dreaming or the music was all just a figment of her imagination from spending too much time with Jared. But her dreamlike state had soon transfigured into a reality when she felt something underneath her beginning to squirm – a flush of breath clouding against her forearm as she started to stir once more, becoming more aware of her surroundings.
With her eyes still closed, Jared’s voice spilling in through her ears, the beauty gave an immediate smile – petals curving upwards as she slowly inhaled, wrapping her arms around him tiredly. If this was what it was going to feel like waking up to him each morning, then she was ready to pack her backs and take residency in his tiny apartment NOW… If only it was easy as that. God, she couldn’t’ think of anything worse than having to pull herself up and make her way back to Brielle, but luckily they had another half an hour until wakeup calls. If she could creep in just two minutes before and then blend in with the other patients who were roaming around the corridors like zombies – then she would be safe. Although she wanted to tell Jared not to apologise, the smile across her cherries would have signified that she didn’t mind being woken up – if anything, she would have preferred to be awake slightly early than too late… It meant that she had a little more time left with him before having to shoot off – only she found herself propped up on her elbow once she heard his statement. Rubbing her eyes to get rid of the sleepy dust ( as she had always called it ), Demetria blinked a couple of times as her palm travelled to his chest – thumb and index finger connecting as they brushed their way against his skin.
“You surprise me – everyday. A run, this early? You’re crazy.”
Collapsing back into him in a childish manner as though to not let him go off for his run, the beauty wrapped her arms around him and placed a series of kisses along his jawline – desperate for this moment to never end. The beauty let out a breath of relief, thinking for a moment of this being their lives in the future… This would be a reality, every Saturday and Sunday. It surprised her how PERFECT somebody actually looked in the morning. Her thumbs brushed against the stubble that had appeared on his chin and his sapphires looked brighter than ever – ravenous locks were scattered in different directions and his smile, although not so fresh, was still a sight to behold. Demetria felt entirely revitalised, despite still being a little bit tired and having this feeling that she couldn’t shake of wanting to stay. At least, it would only be a few more hours until she saw him again. 9.30am would come and she’d be back in his classroom, trying to control her side eye and hide her infatuation… Not that it was going to work much anymore.
“I slept well… I’m trying to decide whether I got a better night sleep because of the bed or because I was with you. For somebody who is made entirely of muscle, you’re pretty comfy.”
Eliciting from her throat was a giggle – its girly features vibrating against his chin as her lengthy lashes brushed against his cheek. Demetria needed to be near him; now that they had finally endured one another, the beauty struggled to fathom how she had survived for the past few months without his touch. Things had been tense; their friendship STIFF at times. The beauty often found herself staring at him longingly, her heart travelling at the speed of lightning whilst her feminine treasures convulsed at the mere sight of him. There was no hiding the CRUSH that Demetria had on Jared… And now it was all apparent that he felt the same. No wonder he had took off so quickly on his very first day; because she had put him in an IMPOSSIBLE place. Contemplating her relationship with Jared made her start thinking about Jax – who had been one of the last thoughts to circle her mind before she had drifted off in the arms of the tutor… A small sigh stifled in her throat, her fingers coming to a halt as her knuckles drew to a close – her eyes becoming distracted by the plain white wall within his bedroom.
It then dawned on her that her actions may have made Jared question how she was feeling. Was she getting cold feet? Of course not. Was she having second thoughts? She would never. Did she still want to proceed with both individuals becoming a them? More than anything. That was the DIFFERENCE between the male and the female; Demi had the social skills to understand that her actions had consequences – where she thought long and hard about them. Jared hadn’t quite experienced many social situations where his initial thoughts were how the other person was feeling, but more so, the need to express how he was feeling. It just so happened that usually, Demi didn’t care about how she had left the other person feeling, but Jared was somebody that she held close to her heart – she did C A R E about how he was feeling. And she could never do anything to intentionally hurt him, not after what had happened yesterday. Where her thought process truly laid, was with the fact that she would have to hurt somebody today… Although she wasn’t too sure he would end up hurt – not after the way Jared had painted a picture of him.
“I’m going to go and break things off with Jax today… I’m actually figuring out whether to just get it over and done with after breakfast or wait until later on this evening. I want to let him down GENTLY, you know? But at the same time, it’s probably something that he has done – a LOT. I don’t know why I’m so scared.”
There were so many questions batting around inside her beautiful mind too – how was Jackson going to react? Was he going to get mad? He had told her that she was one of a kind and that there was nobody else for him inside of Brielle – but that could have all been sweet talk. Guys like him found it easy to manipulate women… It was an every day occurrence, especially for somebody who was addicted to sex. With a sigh, she moved onto the more important questions – what would Jared be doing had neither of them needed to be elsewhere? What time did he wake up without an alarm? Was he the kind of guy to go and watch the news whilst eating breakfast? She could imagine him being one of those types… Knowing that a reassuring comment was coming her way, the beauty gave a smile – fingertips drawing circles around his stubble strewn cheeks. Demetria was going to have to get up and fetch her clothes from the dryer at some point – but she just didn’t feel READY. Letting out a small groan, the beauty continued to allow her digits to draw circles on his cheeks whilst performing the ultimate look of PAIN –only it was false and rather dramatized, aimed at the fact that she was having to leave him.

“I need to get up and go, Jared... Stop looking at me like that, you’re not making it any easier.”

‘You just want to see my ASS don’t you ‘ “Never let anyone tell you you aren’t smart, Demetria Rivers.” Jared grinned, crossing massive arms over his burly chest with a brow quirked upward; intreated to see if Demi would amuse him. Of course she would - this was Demi Rivers he was talking about. Though he didn’t have to wait very long as a moment after he began to speak she dropped to her knees and began to show off. Catching his bottom lip between his pearly whites the tutor swallowed hard sapphires tracing over her form before he caved and dropped to his knees as well - thankful in the back of his mind that the flooring was made of inflated rubber instead of something that would be a little harsher on the joints.
Following behind the girl he was so enamoured with Jared resisted the urge to reach out and touch her, to run a hand over her behind or a slightly more sinister destination. Clearly the duo were of the same mind because it was in the vein of anticipation that the tutor held off, deciding his hands were better used for getting through the course as opposed to re-familiarizing himself with Demi’s anatomy.
As they came to the end of that particular section Jared pulled himself to his feet, smile tugging at the corners of his lips as Demi posed her next question. Cancun or the goddess that was positioned just a few inches from him. The answer was obvious - though the tutor couldn’t help but take the opportunity to be a bit of a smart-ass. “Well considering I was sort of hoping for a full moon,” He mock sighed, large and dramatic as if he were excruciatingly disappointed Demi hadn’t pulled down her shorts to reveal her bare ass within the tiny enclosure. “So I’ve got to go with Cancun.” A chuckle escaped his lips as the ensuing wallop from the petite brunette connected with his bicep, eliciting a tiny ‘ouch!’ from the Jones.
Readying himself to move on Jared was caught a little off guard by the entrapment of the beauty and her insistence that there really was no rush to get on with the next obstacle. “Hmmm… very good point Ms. Rivers…” He murmured, voice growing slightly husky as he now was the one to trap her small frame between the confines of two muscled arms. As her name slipped from his mouth like silk Jared captured her lips with his own, craning his neck to adjust to her 5’2 frame, both massive palms resting gently against the inflatable wall that kept them so hidden from the rest of the campsite.
Once again the battle of their tongues began, heady rush filling Jared’s head with another wave of endorphins; each and every one Demi flavoured. With this in mind the tutors hands slipped from the walls of the dome and instead slipped over her small waist, drawing her inward - so far as the bulky life vests would allow. He considered removing hers briefly but knew they could truly only spend a limited amount of time inside before people began to get suspicious. More than one person saw them enter the obstacle course surely - how many were waiting on them to come out the other side? As much fun as it might have been to take her on the floor of the silly enclosure - there just wasn’t enough time.
It was a good thing the water waiting for them on the other side of this course was slightly cold - because damn if the tutor wasn’t going to need it. Already he could feel himself jump within the confines of his loud hawaiian themed swim trunks, the result of which Demi could surely feel considering the fabric was so very thin - unlike the jeans she constantly felt the need to tease him through. “You’re the worst kind of tease - you know that?” He nearly grunted, speaking only when he had the chance, with his bottom lip caught between her teeth. “Because I know I CAN have you - just not right now; it’s m a d d e n i n g.”
Really, she knew he was joking – she just felt the need to give him a playful slap in the process of her question. Luckily, for Jared, the beauty had grown so infatuated by him that anything came naturally. Despite her fingertips colliding with his bicep, she couldn’t hide the giggle that soon followed – her own sparkling orbs gleaming up to his ocean blues, mesmerised by him. Demetria felt well and truly like a princess, in some sort of movie – it helped that Jared treated her like she was one… It was the nicest she had ever been treated by somebody, which was why she was in so deep already. If anything, he had taught her several lessons about herself and the way she treated others. And it seemed as though she had taught him a lot too – not about compassion, or kindness – but putting his foot down and not allowing anybody to mistreat him.
Despite her back already being trapped against the rubber confinements of the ‘jungle gym’, the beauty found herself trapped even more – the second his chest pressed it’s way against hers, caging her in between his own body and the inflatable wall behind her. As her heart skipped a beat, Demetria allowed her hazels to close, slipping into a dream – Jared taking her under his spell completely. Petals blossomed against his, creating melodies of their own, all whilst forming a small smile throughout the encounter. Once again, his palms were roaming against her body – exploring each destination with a confidence that he had already been there one hundred times and over. Her own fingertips trailed up to either side of his neck, digits pressing against his neck to find the ever pounding thump of his heart – sending blood bolting through his body.
Drinking him in like a DRUG, the beauty allowed one palm to lift to the back of his neck – fingertips trailing through midnight tendrils as she enjoyed the last few seconds before their lips parted, her hazels taking a few moments to open and awaken from the dream that she was having. Allowing her pearls to rake over his lower lip as one final tease, the beauty let out a quivering breath, green hues finally casting themselves upon his porcelain. “I know – that’s why I do it. I have to reel you in and keep you on a leash somehow… You know –“ She begun, her digits trailing up to the red of his lifejacket, fiddling with the zip in a tormenting fashion, the beauty allowed her eyes to flicker in between his chest and sapphires – watching carefully for his reaction. “ – you could have me here, if you really wanted… A sprained ankle doesn’t show up on an x-ray and disappears within a few days. That’s all I’d have to keep the act up for, just two or three days.”
As her voice melted into a whisper, her fingertips brushing against his thighs – close enough but not in the deadly areas that would have landed them in danger, the beauty pulled him back in with her hand that held tightly onto his chest buoyancy. As her tongue twirled over his lower lip, trespassing back into the confinements of his mouth – cherries dancing against his to create that Hollywood kiss, that every girl lusted over. Demetria was naughty. Jared knew that and as always, he didn’t expect anything less. Fingertips crept their way in between his thighs – lightly brushing over the hardening area that was hidden under his swimming drunks. Spreading sparks of electricity throughout his body, the beauty could feel his heart rate quickening – his breath growing heavy as he needed to use the inflatable walls again to keep him supported. Allowing her plumped pinks to unravel along his jawline, tongue travelling along the sculpture of his features until they took comfort on the bottom of his lobe – nibbling ever so slightly as a flush of hot breath followed, lingering over the damp mark that she had left behind. Demetria let out a hum of a giggle against his chiselled jawline, before letting out one more murmur. “But where would the fun in that be? I came on this course to CONQUER it.”
Having proved his statement right, Demetria slipped in between the two pillars that had been supporting her previously – grabbing Jared by the hand and toppling out onto the next platform, not realising just how short it was before she fell backwards, staggering over the edge of the ten foot drop – crashing into a pool of water designed for cannon balling into. Luckily, she still had hold of her prince charming, her fingers ensuring that they never let go – dragging him in with her. Luckily, she didn’t go far… Her head dunking under briefly before coming back up to the surface. If that wasn’t going to fix Jared’s EXCITEMENT, then she wasn’t sure what else would. It was probably karma but nevertheless, it was still cute and incredibly hot in the same instance. The beauty was so sure that she had tantalised him enough to drive him crazy – meaning that they were in for a rather steamy night, the tension palpable enough to slice with a knife. All she could do was grin in his direction, releasing a playful splash crashing over him – clearing her eyes of any saltwater that lingered.

LOVE was a word Jared was of course not yet prepared to use with Demi in mind - and of course she would feel the same. They were connected but not i n s a n e. Still the whisper of the feeling was taking deep root in both their souls; the foundation setting up for an epic kind of love - the one you only felt once in a life time. As it stood he was rather content in calling himself infatuated - that was a perfectly suitable title for the moment. What was also extremely pleasant about their relationship is that Jared and Demetria had started as friends; the crucial stepping stone that allowed two people to honestly like each other not simply because they had an intense physical connection. The pair had connected on an intellectually level and that was something vastly important to the tutor.
“I’ll make sure I’ve got my volume up so I don’t miss it - hate to have it set to silent.” Their quips were so easy; the back and fourth of it all. There was never an awkward moment with the chocolate haired goddess - it all just FLOWED - yet another aspect of this entire thing that Jared greatly appreciated. It wasn’t often people understood his handicapped sense of humour and speech, but Demi had taken everything he’d ever said with stride - never once having misconstrued him in any way shape or form…a little like Dana had. It was dizzying how similar and yet different the women were to each other. Both petite frames with bodacious personalities - and each with the same interest; JARED. Though the aspect of each was different entirely the two elfin girls seemed to enjoy the company of Mr. Jones - and that was just dandy with him.
Ironically the tutor had always preferred the right side - hence why his cell phone dock was set up on that side. It was a thought Jared hadn’t even considered - until this very moment. Had they naturally taken on these positions? Or had he somehow thrown Demi into that specific side of the bed? It was a rather interesting aspect to notice and something Jared was about to mention when Demi admitted to having the same tattoo across her ribcage. Acknowledging this his sapphire hues flashed open and the tutor pulled back slightly, as if he could make eye contact with the beauty in the pitch blackness. “How did I miss that.” He smirked realizing that the first and only time he’d been able to witness Demi with her clothing fully removed was in the shower and admittedly it had been rather steamy in more ways than one. “You’ll have to show me in the morning.” His smile held as he shifted again, placing them back into their original position, resting his chin atop her head gently. Finger tips began to tease the tips of her long locks, drawing the silken material over and through his slender digits as he spoke. “When I left Georgia I didn’t think I’d be meeting anyone any time soon…life finds a way.” As if to solidify his true nerdisim the tutor quoted the iconic Jeff Goldblum Jurassic Park moment wondering for a moment if Demi would understand the reference and then quickly deciding he wouldn’t mind if she hadn’t.
“I’d thank you for being here but that seems a little inappropriate.” He mused noting that he’d be essentially appreciating the fact that Demi’s parents had decided she had some kind of illness. Instead the tutor snuggled closer feeling the all mighty pull of sleep dragging him down further into the bed and all it’s comforts. With the Rivers’ scent still wafting up through his sinuses Jared inhaled deeply - attempting to fight the narcolepsy that was coming his way as it would end their perfectly imperfect day but knowing he was losing the battle.
“Demi…” Jared’s voice was a whisper as he suddenly felt that using his full tone would shatter their wonderful little bubble. “This probably goes without saying; but I always want you to feel like you can tell me anything…I always want to be the place you go when you feel lost…alright?”
Shocked. She was still shocked that this entire encounter had stemmed from a HUNGER so dep, that neither of them were capable of surviving much longer without one another. Although things seemed to feel PERFECT in that very moment, Demetria knew that she would wake up in hours to come and have to creep out of his apartment – like some sort of one night stand, sneaking away in the dead of the night. Only she wasn’t a one night stand… Perhaps, that’s what it would have been had she not showed up earlier unannounced with the face of a DRAGON – but Demi and Jared would have found their way back to one another. They could never be ‘just friends’. There were far too many depths to their relationships – they understood one another, complimenting the others personality… And despite being complete opposites to an outsider, they had connected ever so intricately – it seemed as though they had known each other for years.
Nevertheless, this didn’t change the MESS that was awaiting in Brielle for her – number one on the list being Jackson. That was the difference between them in this instance; what Jared had with Amanda was truly over ( or so it seemed ), whereas the beauty was yet to call things off with Jax. To be truthful, Demi hadn’t even thought about the curly haired boy who was STAINED with addictions. Sure, she liked sex just as much as the next person did but drugs were not her style… In fact, she found them rather dirty and disgusting – despite having tried them a couple of times here and there at parties. It was becoming more apparent to her however, how Demetria and Jackson had different goals in life. She had found somebody who was really pulling her in his direction – and she was ready to obliterate EVERYTHING.
A breathy giggle left the folds of her lips, head tilting upward to try and get a glimpse of her GOD but it was no use – the room was too dark and all she could see was crystal orbs reflecting into his sapphires. “I can think of one or two reasons why you missed it… I’m sure you’ll be seeing it every now and then – as well as the others.” Jared seemed shocked almost, given how heavily he had surveyed her body – each inch of him exploring the canvas she had to offer; fingers, palms, tongue and lips included. Her statement rang true ( as long as that was what Jared wanted ), but she was giving consent for him to undress her in the future – hinting towards the fact that she saw the pair of them reuniting again. As he pulled her back in, Demi started to notice the heavy beating of his hear – it’s drum like feature playing a melody just for her, as she hypnotised him and sent him into a daze. Listening carefully, the beauty smiled at his words. Although she hadn’t seen Jurassic Park, she still gave a light exhale of content – melting at the fact that Jared could turn just about anything poetic. He could read a murder synopsis to her and she felt as though she could fall into the castles of his arms, quivering at his voice. “I didn’t think that any strange men from Georgia would come crashing into my life, if it’s any consolation.”
Fingertips continued to paint portraits across his back, digits allowing her nails to glide against his skin every so often too – little red marks following the trails that her hands gave as she explored the muscular build to his back. Thanking her was not inappropriate… At least, Demi didn’t think so. Although she didn’t view it as a house, Brielle had ( in some strange way ) become her home. There were people there who she could not imagine a life without – a handful of them even being staff members… Tilting her head up ever so slightly, pressing a miniature series of pecks along his chin and jawline, the beauty whispered against his skin words of reassurance. “If you don’t want to thank me for being in Brielle, you can thank me for showing up angrily at your door tonight.” Again, it was a taunt – a TEASE – from her heart to show Jared just how softly she felt towards the situation. If things had not ended badly earlier, she may not have been here – but that was the thing. Jared Jones meant an awful lot to her already and it was far too late to back out… Their love story was going to be one of a kind – MAGICAL. They were the authors of it now.
The beauty could feel her eyes growing tired – barely lifting her head or making a sound as he uttered her name for the first time. The only thing that left her lips was a small murmur, to show that she was still half awake and trying her hardest to listen… Demetria could make out his words – she could feel the warmth that left his palms as he spoke them too, her signature smile curling to each corner of her lips which his words. “I know… You are my safe space, Jared. I hope I’m yours too.” And with that, she dozed off into dreamland – comfortably in the arms of the tutor and unprepared to be woken up by an alarm clock in hours to come. There life would be like this eventually – day in, day out… It would just become NORMAL and Demetria Rivers could not wait.

jemijones·:
“Nerds have had a bad rap since the 80’s - we’re making a come back.” He had uttered after her compliment, the result of which left a smile plastered against his cheeks.
It was the sadness in Demi’s tone that wrung Jared’s heart as if it were in some sort of vice. Despite having been told her diagnosis but Robert Jared still struggled to believe him. She’d shown him no hints of any reason to be locked up in this place - if she were really to sick shouldn’t she be expressing those traits constantly instead of occasionally?
As she spoke Jared listened intently, happily welcoming the warm tendrils that began to spread throughout his body as she intertwined herself around him. Following suit the tutor hooked his leg against hers, drawing her thigh inward toward his pelvis and his toward hers - not in any sexual manner, but more in an attempt to be closer to her; a human pretzel would have been an accurate depiction. As she nestled into his chest Jared allowed her scent to become loved within his nose once again becoming deliriously giddy with her being consuming him entirely. Jared didn’t hesitate in pressing a series of kisses to the top of her head in an attempt to comfort her and soothe the drollness from her soul.
“I can definitely do that.” He confirmed, eyes closing as he enjoyed the feeling of her body snuggled in against his. With his sapphires shielded from the world Jared’s other senses picked up the slack, heightening her scent and sound, his fingertips becoming far more aware of just how soft her flesh was. Considering her current position, it was easy for the tutor to slip his arm from beneath his pillow to underneath the crevice of her neck; allowing him to cradle her entirely, both python like arms now embracing her.
His fingertips mirrored hers, drawing circles, infinites and tiny doodles into the fabric of his shirt that rested against her. “Life imitates art.” He said easily, with yet another soft chuckle. “But could we text each other before we take our vials of poison? Might prevent a few unwanted funerals.” Another soft laugh passed through the tutors lips and yet again he placed a kiss to the top of the Rivers’ girls head.
There were no words to describe how at EASE the brunette felt – every single time she was with him. There weren’t many embraces that they had shared ( at least not yet ), this was merely the beginning of them… Just like two people who were falling for one another, they had shared their moments – in and out of the classroom, even in this apartment and had never acted on it until today. It seemed as though the morning had never even happened. In Demetria’s head, she had come here in a time of need and things had just BLOSSOMED. Although she couldn’t deny the altercation they had endured earlier on, the attack on one another’s bodies leaving them thirsty for more, she could admit to them being two entirely different encounters. What had happened in between his morning break was something lustful – something that NEEDED to happen for them to have reached this point… Although it seemed like their shower moment was almost a DO OVER.
It wasn’t that she was asking him to go to Robert. It may have helped with her freedom though – THEIR freedom. It was nice though, that somebody believed in her just as much as she believed in herself. There were so many people who claimed they understood her. Mostly patients who were in the same boat, claiming that they were nothing but MISUNDERSTOOD… Her own parents hadn’t even attempted to fix her before sending her to this big, scary place. It wasn’t as if her father didn’t have the money for her to privately see a psychiatrist – however, in this moment, the beauty wouldn’t have rather been anywhere else.
Continuing to wrap around him like some form of snake strangling it’s victim, Demetria tightened her grip – slipping into the ultimate comfort. Eyes fluttered shut, as if to fall into a dreamland, however her thoughts were too loud in this instance. Breathing through her nose, taking in the smell of his fabric softener and body wash – mixing together like some sort of addictively alcoholic concoction – the beauty couldn’t help but pause all of her thoughts, allowing a smile to grow across her SAD features, knowing that this was what their nights together were going to be like. Until a heat wave came crashing and she needed to be sprawled out on her side of the best – star fishing. It was funny, how she had claimed the left side of the bed and Jared immediately went to the right without a protest. There was some kind of mutual agreement that their sides had been decided already; unless he always went for the right side. Whenever she seemed to share a bed with anybody, she had always been on the left – perhaps, this was another example of how they were two puzzle pieces fitting perfectly with one another.
Using his own back as a canvas – fingertips slipping up inside of his shirt and working paintings like Picasso and Monet, Demi let a small sigh slip through her nostrils – a half efforted giggle vibrated along her windpipe at his humour. Thank god, she had read Romeo and Juliet. Any other girl that wound up in the confinements of Jared’s bed may not have understood… But Demetria Rivers got it within a heartbeat. “If that is what you want. I could even throw in a couple of knife emojis – just to show that I’m really serious about stabbing myself too.” Her shoulders and chest shuddered against his, body performing in time with the chuckle that followed – hoping Jared might find our own quip just has funny as he had found his. How had Demi ever found love, up until this moment? She couldn’t say that she LOVED Jared yet, but she could feel it in her soul – she was going to fall hard and deep for this man. Maybe, Aiden and Ricky were MEANT to leave her. Perhaps, Tristan and Carter were MEANT to be flings. They were all lessons, in preparing her for the one person who brought a strong enough spark to her life – that person being Jared Jones.
“I actually have a tattoo across my ribs that says life imitates art… Did you see that or are we truly that in sync? God, I really have met my match. Thank you for coming here... With Doctor Wright – as much as I hate to say it... I don’t know what I’d do without you around.”

Demetria emerging from beneath the waters surface was more appealing to the tutor than she might think. For Jared it was almost exactly like the moments in the movies when the model lifts herself from the liquid in slow motion, sun cascading over the glistening droplets of water, accentuating each and every beautiful facet of her form. The gasp was necessary - and only made the tutor grin all the more.
Before he’d even had a chance to retort to the proposed compromise tot he challenge Demi was off and swimming, brunette crown of locks disappearing beneath the glorious blue waters yet again. “HEY!” Jared shouted playfully, helping himself onto the small square platform that was intended to allow the obstacle course patron to get their first footing. “Cheater!” He howled again, grin stretching to reach the corners of his eyes whilst he cupped his mouth in order to make the sound carry.
Having already lost precious seconds the tutor began his endeavour, tightening the six pack that was his core as he stepped on to the first ball. Most of the patients and staff alike who had attempted this part of the course had given up after they fell once - usually around the second or third ball; the waves proving too much for their corrective balancing skills. But Jared had run this course several times over and knew his core was more than adept for this type of activity. Lithely Jared stepped onto the next ball - the idea of Demetria’s tiny legs attempting to bridge the gap between each causing him to grin yet again. Despite having started a shot while before her Jared’s sapphires could easily spot her white shorts and ruby red life vest shooting through the water; just beneath the surface. She was around the seventh ball when he’d lost track of her - having been focused on not losing his balance atop the balls; which was exactly what caused him to break concentration and slip into the salty waters below.
With a crash of water Jared Jones found himself encapsulated by a flurry of bubbles created by his own form and with no platform to help him back onto the balls his only choice was to swim. Had Demi really been that quick in the water to be able to evade his gaze? What else could the explanation have been? With no way of knowing if she had arrived at the platform of not the tutor used the skills he had been honing nearly every day at Brielle’s swimming pool to his advantage and cut through the crystalline water like a torpedo shot from a submarine. It was only when he touched the base of the next platform with outstretched hands did he realized he’d come to the end; surely he had beaten Demi with his immense speed.
With a delirious victorious grin the tutor emerged from the water himself, yet another shake of his head clearing water droplets from his face and hair - his own slightly unflattering in take of breath following suit. Without thinking to look around he grasped the edge of the dock with great palms and hoisted himself up - only pausing when he’d caught a glimpse of feet standing just before him. She was already there. “Son of a bitch…” He said lightly, corners of his lips drawing upward yet again after the victory grin had faltered for a moment. “Well it’s a good thing I’m a dance master isn’t it?” He chuckled, “Let’s hope Doris is ready to party, I’m not sure we have the coverage if she breaks another hip.” The tutor drew himself upward to a standing position as he spoke, gazing down at Demi whilst he stood next to her. “This next bit is my favourite.” A look of excitement exploded over his adonis like features as the duo approached the next obstacle of the course.
A rather gigantic dome seemed to be made up of different coloured beams, the object of which was to duck, jump and weave through in order to get across to the other side. Some elements required you army crawl beneath a row of tightly knit tubes - others found it necessary to climb up and over - these portions were only half Demetria’s hight as this was one of the child friendly portions of the course. Most times Jared found a few pairs of kids inside simply messing around - likening it to the bounce castle that was apparently always so full. “I like to call it the jungle gym - it seems easy but just watch how out of breath you are at the end.” Another smirk passed over his lips as he stepped over the first tube - it’s yellow rubber only about shin high. Graciously; as if it were the most gentlemanly thing to do the tutor extended his hand out toward the Rivers girl and escorted her over it - ensuring she wouldn’t lose her balance on the slippery material. From there the pair would be sandwiched between two massive pillars situated together so tightly you were meant to shift between them sideways and of course only one person at a time could fit through. With his large hand still encapsulating her own, Jared fit himself through the tight squeeze first - tugging Demi along with him once the entirety of his body had been birthed on the other side. Up next was a section in which they were meant to crouch low, the pillars after that declining toward the floor of the enclosure forcing it’s participants to army crawl through it’s tight crevice. “Ladies first?” Asked the tutor, eye brows waggling toward his brunette accomplice.
Watching his VICTORIOUS smile wipe straight from his face was enough to fill Demetria with a sense of accomplishment, but that soon passed over… She would make Jared feel like a WINNER if that was what he so heavily desired. Although she wasn’t half as active as him – she did have a head start and hadn’t fallen from her obstacle. Like it mattered, they were in this together as a team and were having a laugh in doing so. Son of a bitch? “Wow, you sure like your insults today, don’t you? Yep, that’s right,I heard you call me a cheater. Let me tell you, Mr Jones –“ The beauty begun, a joking tone in tow as if she was to mentally pull out her pocket dictionary ( not that she carried one of those, although she was CERTAIN that Jared probably had an app for something like that ). “A cheater is a person who acts unfairly or dishonestly to gain an advantage. Unfair – yes. Dishonest – no. I gave the rules of the game out to you first, it isn’t my fault you’re too slow. It must be your age – Doris will just LOVE you.” Taunting at him – lightly poking him in the side, Demetria had to pull herself backwards from levitating in too close in broad daylight. It was a near enough impossible task but she knew that each time they were covered by a wall or obstacle, their wandering hands would soon find their way back to one another.
She could picture it now – them going out and DANCING, whilst people came up and told him how sweet it was to take his niece out partying. It made her chuckle really. And it helped with the irony of it… Inappropriate relationships were something that she had managed to get the hang of by now – not that she would have cared to admit to it. Nevertheless, her and Jared were going to have FUN. They were going out on a real life date; something that they had not had the pleasure of doing in Oregon and probably, would never – not until she had been released… Or given a day pass. Torn away from her trail of thought, golden orbs raised to look at him – his exhilaration plastering across his face as he had begun walking over to the next obstacle. “How did you even make this? I am seriously impressed. Did you have to go and get all of the separate pieces and connect them or did it come as a package, because if you genuinely did put this all together – then you still manage to surprise me – every day.”
Being guided through the ‘jungle gym’ as though she was some kind of princess stepping over drains, the beauty squeezed onto his hand – being tugged in between the pillars by his own muscular arms. This kind of thing DEFINITELY was not built for wearing a thickened life jacket – sucking herself in but thanks to her petite frame, not really having to do much. As soon as she came out on the other side, her fingers still intertwined with his, the beauty looked down towards the next set of pillars – the crawl space looking just as CLAUSTROPHOBIC than the inflatable traps that they had previously fought through. To be honest, now that they were closed away from the rest of the world again – despite Jared’s head hanging slightly lower because of his height – the beauty could have thrown her arms around him and finish what he started earlier on in the tunnel. His waist was right there… And it wasn’t like anybody else was allowed on the water course whilst he wasn’t stood at his post. Chewing on her lower lip, she realised just why she had pulled herself away earlier on – the ANTICIPATION. Exhaling as she pulled herself away from the terrible thoughts that were tainting her mind, she was thrown straight back into them as soon as Jared insisted that she went first.
“You just want to see my ASS, don’t you? I know the little white shorts are your favourite… Why else do you think I put them on?”
Before giving him the opportunity to bite back or grab her by her hips, the beauty did as he pleased – dropping down to her knees and lowering her back in a position where should tug herself through the crawl space. Demi could hear Jared dropping down too, following closely behind as she chewed on her lower lip, excitement clouding her hazels as she accentuated each new ‘step’ to ensure that her hips went from side to side. If it was a show that Jared wanted, then a show was what he was going to get – she knew just how to press his buttons and seeing as their relationship was still very much in the ‘ECSTATIC’ stage, anything was enough to tease him. With a small groan, fighting her way through and onto the other side – the beauty used the next set of pillars to pull herself back up, blocking the exit so that he wouldn’t be able to get passed. She wasn’t going to leave this next bit without a little affection and some kind of reward for going FIRST, just like he had asked.
“So, what was better? The view from the last platform or the view just now?”
Of course, she was teasing – she would never expect Jared to compare the likes of her behind to an entire view of their resort in Cancun. Travelling was not something that she did very often at all ( particularly with being locked away in a hospital ), but it was something that she could still admire. There was nothing more ROMANTIC than being on a Mexican break with the person you were falling for… Although, it wasn’t really THEIR break. It was something that they had come on as residents of the same building – just under different roles. Who knew? Maybe they could come back here one day and enjoy the entire experience as a couple. As Jared pulled himself through, a grin on his face as he prepared himself to go fighting back through the pillars on the other side of the jungle gym, the beauty pressed her arm against his chest – her back resting against the inflatable walls. “Where do you think you’re going? We definitely aren’t going to beat six minutes… Why rush?”

jemijones·:
“Noted.” He’d said in retort to her comment about never waking her own sleeping form, a whisper of a chuckle passing over his lips as they had entered the doorway to his bedroom. He knew she wasn’t being serious - just a silly joke between friends; but they were more than that now weren’t they? With all that had happened in the past twelve hours Jared was certain without a shadow of a doubt that he and Demi were out of the ‘friend-zone’; obviously.
As she scurried beneath the comfort of his duvet Jared half smiled - the idea of the lights on around the house seeming so far away in his own mind. She had hit the nail on the head however as the tutor reluctantly rolled over to collect his phone from the bed side table - only to find it wasn’t there. Right, the last place he’d had his pants was the bathroom - which meant the jeans were still sitting on the floor in a heap; along with his cell. Jared groaned, allowing his body to lie limp for a moment as he considered the thought of simply leaving the lights on - would it really be that much of a sin? Just for one night? Robert would understand a moderate spike in the bill - just this once? “Perish the thought.” He joked, rolling back toward Demetria with a lock of mock horror plastered across his adonis like features, both in reaction to her quote about him reading books off a kindle ( the very idea of which enough to cause a disgusted shiver to run through his spine ) and her statement about their possibility of never having been in this predicament should Demi have chosen not to come to him that night. “Stay put Ms. Needy - I’ll be right back.” Yet another smirk passed over his features as Jared pressed a kiss to the tip of Demi’s nose, appreciating it’s button like quality at the same time.
A slight huff escaped the tutor as he dragged himself from the comfort of the queen sized mattress; thankfully the bathroom was only a few feet from his bedroom - it would take only a few moments for him to collect the phone from his jeans and return to the brunette beauty queen comfortably nestled in his sleeping area.
It dawned on Jared then just how easily it seemed it was for Demi to keep from getting caught when she snuck out at night. This would be the second time she’d spent the evening and not once had the tutor heard any of the security staff say anything about a patient that continued to go missing. Perhaps she hadn’t done his before - though as soon as he thought it Jared knew that couldn’t be the truth. If the beauty had never missed curfew then there was no way in hell she would be this comfortable skipping out on ‘bedtime at Brielle’. Against better judgment Jared decided not to dwell on things that weren’t an issue - if she could get away with it then fine; it was better for their situation honestly - Jared Jones knew better than to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Returning to his version of Aphrodite, the tutor waggled his phone toward her as he walked - showing off just how he was going to eliminate the sources of lights around the house. With a bit of a hop Jared sprang back into bed, the residual motion causing Demetria’s form to bounce against the force that was executed. “What was that you were saying about an app.” Placing emphasis on the ‘p’s the tutor’s signature side smirk took hold once more. Shuffling into a more comfortable position he angled himself so that he might show the beauty what he was doing.
With a few pokes of a perfect digit Jared pulled up the home screen for some techno app called LightBrite; how they’d gotten the rights to the popular children’s toy he would never know - and began to explain how the entire thing was wired. “It’s really easy actually - and with this say I were to hypothetically have a gorgeous woman in my bed - I wouldn’t have to leave to shut everything off…though it does help when I have my phone with me.” Another quick exhale of air through his nostrils that signified a short laugh. With just a few more pokes each and every light within the tutors cozy apartment was extinguished and the couple was plunged into darkness.
Sitting on the bedside table next to Jared was a charging station - the kind that resembled a black disk - of which you simply needed to place your phone on top of and it would begin to charge. He rather liked it - saved him from having to hunt for a cable and honestly just looked a lot more aesthetically pleasing. With the phone finally out of his grasp Jared took the opportunity to wriggle beneath the covers and join Demi in what was sure to be a warm and toasty experience. Scootching up next to her he slipped an arm underneath his pillow, snuggling into the fluffy down mass as if it were a giant marshmallow.
Nearly nose to nose the Jones felt as if he were embarking on some slumber party expedition; something he had never experienced as a child and had only seen in movies.
As his ceruleans adjusted to the darkness Jared was finally able to make out the basic features of the woman’s face that was laid next to him. A warming sensation began to fill his chest - more jetpack butterflies collecting in the tiny space that was Jared’s throat; and slowly a warm smile encapsulated his lips. “You really don’t belong here…” He whispered - not realizing how it had sounded but having meant that her stay within Brielle was entirely UNWARRANTED. Reaching out to close the minuscule gap that separated their perfect bodies he traced her jawline gently, fingertips running from ear to chin, forefinger and thumb catching the former. “How can I help you get out?” Voice still hushed but sounding like honey on velvet Jared’s brows furrowed. It wasn’t fair for Demetria to be trapped in a place like this - and so long as the tutor could do something about it he would. Jared Jones would do ANYTHING to aid Demetria Rivers.
Miss Needy? With the roll of her eyes, a short sigh left the confinements of her lungs – expressing the happiness that resided within her body and releasing it’s chides of humour as he drew back from her features, his lips and scent leaving her behind in the space of a big EMPTY bed. It was nice being elsewhere… It was definite that Jared’s bed was much comfier than her own bed – not only was it a single, but the springs were enough to carve circles into your back over night. Her beau certainly had a taste for the lavish things, all whilst being able to admire the much older things too – books and movies. He was like a classic dreamboat. Somebody that you felt P R O U D of taking home to your parents; the kind of guy who would enchant your mother and become your fathers best friend – but the situation was slightly more complicated than that. As she laid in peace on her own for a moment, Demetria found herself rolling over and tugging the duvet up to her shoulders – closing her eyes and inhaling the aroma embedded into his cushions. If this was how amazing his bedding smelled, what were her clothes going to be like after? There was something floral to the covers, although it was mixed with his own aftershave too… Perhaps that was just his black shirt, barely covering her thighs – one that she would DEFINITELY be sneaking back with her.
Soon enough, she found Jared’s presence illuminating the room again – and no, that wasn’t just his phone screen. He was like a DRAGONFLY; the smallest of things bringing light to your life. They weren’t come by often but when they did, you were in a trance – mesmerised by its crystallised colours and it’s ability to behold such beauty, despite being of another form. Hazels watched carefully, intrigued by the nerdlike lecture that was about to come forth. Lips curved upward, ever so daintily as his goofy mannerisms sent a warmth through the mattress and ignited her heart – golden flecked hues focusing on him, rather than actually glazing over the app at all. Demetria had no care about the app ( although, it was pretty impressive to hear of what new bullshit they were coming out with next ). She was more interested in observing how EXCITED her had gotten over something so trivial… Demi hadn’t been so close to a real phone in almost two years. A girl of her age should have been DESPERATE to find out what new social medias were available, DYING to quickly log into their facebook, ITCHING to grab a hold of the device but Demetria had no interest… As far as she was concerned, she had everything she needed right in front of her – nothing more, nothing less.
A chuckle reverberated through her chest as his ‘example’ had proved to be rather fitting… How flattering. Each little quirk that left his lips, accompanied by compliments and quips of humour, left Demetria falling deeper and deeper for him. There was something about Jared that was just so ENCHANTING and she couldn’t even place her finger on it. He was different from anybody else; they were all on a level four, whilst he was soaring through the sky on level one hundred. To tell the truth, the beauty was thankful that she was stuck in this place – had she not came to Brielle, she would never have met Jared Jones. Well, their paths may have crossed someday, one way or another – that way, she would have known in was fate. All that mattered, was that they had staggered upon one another and transfigured into puzzle pieces; discovering their place in the others lives and slotting in comfortably, making the much bigger picture COMPLETE. Her voice was a whisper now, hazels glittering with a liquid from the tiredness but also, moistening from a place of HAPPINESS… Her words were teasing, but divine all in the same instance – as though she had melted chocolate pouring from her tongue and drizzling over strawberries for him to pick.
“You are such a nerd… You have no idea how endearing it is.”
Hearing the little notification sing as he put his phone down, the beauty shuffled up closer to him too – almost directly in the middle of the bed and practically on his pillows. Demetria Rivers just couldn’t get enough of him… She didn’t want to be laid on the other side of the bed, enjoying her own space. She wanted to be cuddled up to him – to feel the warmth of his skin, to hear his heart beating and to unite with him as one. As her eyes adjusted to the dark, sussing out the twinkle in his eyes from the little droplets of moonlight spilling in from his curtains, the beauty allowed their breathing to become the only noise in the room – listening to it in synchronisation with his as they laid inches apart. It only felt right that she wrapped her way around him like some sort of boa constrictor and so, she shuffled down so that she could bury her head between his chest and neck should she have chosen – her jaw tilted so that she was still getting a glimpse of him. Fingers found their way writing STORIES along the little area of skin available to her, digits coursing along his hipbone as she allowed his own palms to roam – doing the same as her. At first, her eyes widened slightly, cautious as to what he meant but soon, felt relieved once he adjusted his direction – clarifying just what he meant…
It was a sad topic to discuss. The beauty didn’t particularly want to be in Brielle Institute but in the same instance, had nowhere else that she felt she could go. Perhaps, Jared could be her HOME from now… But the possibility of him getting fed up was far too much to handle – Demetria wasn’t settling on any hopes inside her mind. Like any other young woman, she thought of the ‘what ifs’ and ‘maybes’ but knew that should never start thinking that there would be a definite. A small sigh mustered its way within her throat – not of contentment, but disappointment. If she knew how to get out, she would have done it by now. Although admittedly, she hadn’t really tried. At least Doctor Holmes actually LIKED her… He admired the way she conquered her fears, as well as her ambition but he had scarpered – just like everybody else in her life, not that she had a strong relationship with him. Chewing on her lip momentarily, the beauty blinked before letting out a muttered ‘uh’, thinking about his question.
“I suppose – you could tell Robert that you’ve noticed progress in me. At this point, my punishment has ended and you’re settled in. You don’t need an assistant really, but I asked him if I could keep it up so that I have something to go on a resume for when I get out of here. I know, I didn’t tell you but… It never came up and I had to find some reason to see you everyday and out of classroom hours. I want to get out – obviously, I don’t think I should be here for some silly ‘personality flaw’ either. That’s what my mom called it at least… It makes it sound like I’m less fucked up. I think the only reason she said that though was to save our reputation, you know?”
Nestling in to his chest, forearm wrapping around the small of his back, Demetria let out a sigh before she closed her eyes and pressed a singular kiss against his collarbone – it wasn’t short, it was long lasting and sweet… Enough to THANK him for wanting to try, but knowing that it probably wouldn’t do much. There was probably a list of other things that she could have come up with, although it didn’t really seem fitting, given their current position. Jared could have told her to shut up when she was being out of order with people, reeled her back when her disorder was kicking in and reminding her that HE was the guy she wanted… Yet, all of this was soon to be revealed. As she buried herself into his chest, the beauty felt her heart break ever so slightly. She wanted DESPERATELY to get out and be able to live a free life ( particularly by his side ). There was so much on the outside world that she was missing out on and for as long as she was in Brielle, they never really stood a chance. Jared Jones was somebody who could take care of her though; she was in dire need of having somebody to put her in her place and sit her down when she was acting wrong… Jared was certainly going to be that person.
“How can life be so incredibly SHAKESPEAREAN and SHIT? I am basically Juliet Capulet. Oh, the irony.”

It was incredibly satisfying to hear the hitches of breath catch I the Rivers girl’s throat as his own parted petals continued to claim the territory between her cleavage as his own. And it was even more satisfying to have her wriggle free from his grasp - complaining that his lips had been too much of a distraction for the simple act of talking. With a great wide grin, Jared Jones allowed Demi to slip from his grasp, plastic protesting beneath them as she squirmed free. “Fine - I’ll keep my lips to myself from now on.” He chuckled sitting back on his knees, laugh reverberating through the rubber tube as the tutor got to his feet.
Chasing after her was a no brainer - Jared would always chase after Demi - metaphorically and physically if need be. Despite the honeymoon phase of their relationship just beginning the tutor was rather confident it would last for a substantial amount of time - and even when it DID eventually peter out that wouldn’t be an issue for them - because by then they would have built a relationship that was stronger than anything Jared had ever known - than Demetria had as well; because their histories were so equally broken. Written as if by the same tormented ghost author having deeming them sad little players in his ultimate connected universe.
Men had left Demi - deserted her when they’d had their fill, topped up their quotas and moved on to the next mountain to conquer - hell even her own FATHER had dropped her off and left her in some cold, unfamiliar building - expecting her to fix herself without so much as a monthly phone call. Something about that lit a different kind of fire within the tutors chest - the burning need to protect Demi from this faceless, heartless beast roared within him, but there was nothing Jared could do, at least not until he met Mr. Rivers face to face.
Jared would treat her differently OF COURSE - he already had. There was no such whisper of a thought within the confines of his mind - Demi was someone he couldn’t get enough of and he doubted very much that this unquenchable thirst would leave him any time soon. INFATUATED was a word that came to mind when he thought of the brunette bombshell, a description he was rather content with at the moment.
As her petite frame left the mouth of the tunnel and the subsequent splash was heard below Jared followed suit, deciding a canon ball was the most appropriate course of action - the water was too shallow to dive head first into anyway. Demi had bobbed up before him - and as such Jared hadn’t had a chance to see her apparent display of ‘unsexy’ gasping - though to him it would have been positively charming. The tutor himself bobbed up through the water, giving his head a slight shake - as if he were some large mongrel dog - in an effort to rid his midnight locks of an excess water that had hitched a ride. Once more Jared used his hands to smooth the long locks backward over his forehead, giving himself a pleasing ‘greeser’ look; almost as if he’d stepped out of a scene from Grease.
Locking his ceruleans onto her small form once again Jared took a moment to admire the way each fabric clung to her frame, caressing her curves the way he desperately desired to. She was a 10 - obviously. Not only because of the shape of her body but the beauty within the Rivers girl’s FACE. Had they been in another time period Demi would have been regarded as something of an aristocrat - even if she had been born to some peasant family a member of higher society would have spotted her and married her on the spot - wanting not only to behold her beauty for the rest of his days - but to spread those shockingly beautiful genes to their off spring. This thought had Jared considering THEIR spawn for a moment - how absolutely stunning would their children turn out to be; boy or girl? It was an idea that had Jared’s lips quirking up at the side once more - before he became distracted again with the sound of her melodic voice.
Yet another laugh slipped from the tutors parted lips. “Warning heeded.” He grinned once more, placing his hands against the under side of her thighs as she seemed to struggle with the slippery rubber. With a slight push the tutor allowed the Rivers to reach the higher rungs, careful to stay within the water not only because the rock climbing wall was visible to the rest of the beach - but just in case Demi’s grip decided to give out at some point. “Don’t worry - I hardly go anywhere without it. Besides, what am I supposed to do with myself when the guards are actually doing room checks and you can’t sneak away?” When she reached the top and once more waited for his presence Jared took the opportunity to show off…if only a little. He rocketed up the side of the wall, water be damed as reached the top at half the speed that Demi had. The other side of the wall presented yet another slide - though this one was a little less steep than the first had been. Unable to pull another stunt like the one he had prior Jared instead took the liberty to push off first, sending himself careening down the ramp and into the water below - where the inflated balls attached to the ocean floor awaited their arrival.
“Easy route’s to swim between the balls - expert route’s to walk on top of them. What will it be Ms. Rivers?”
He gestured with an arm as he spoke; as if she didn’t have the ability to see the course laid out before her. “Or-“ He grinned. “We can race. The balls divide us into two lanes - first one to the next platform wins.” Mischief glittered within his sapphire hues, tell tale grin still plastered to his lips as he awaited her decision.
Just like the sun burning against her skin, the beauty could feel sapphires soaring through her skin – it was browning up a little now, the CANCUN SUN glazing over supple flesh and tainting it with a much darker and complimentary tone. Either way, Demi could sense that his own irises were dusting sprinkles of icing sugar over her body – eating her up as though she was some sort of dessert platter. Regardless of who was checking her out, the brunette always felt SEXY; she knew that she was a piece of art, designed to be hung up in a gallery and admired by dozens. However, she always felt much better about herself when Jared was the one doing the admiring… He was an honest man, straight to the point thanks to his lack of social skills. He wasn’t abrupt as such but he was honest and sometimes, didn’t comprehend his choice of wording. It was something that Demetria quite liked about him; he had this incredibly awkward way of putting across his feelings when he wasn’t being a CHARMER as opposed to the girl, who was not shy in stating her opinion. If she didn’t like something, you sure as hell were going to hear about it… Either way, Jared continuously made her feel good about herself; through compliments and the way his bright bulbs gleamed in her direction. Sometimes wondering whether it might be too obvious that they were a thing, the beauty worried – and that was her excuse for gallivanting with other men – a COVER up. It was more so, that she didn’t want to admit to herself that she was sick; that the characteristics of her disorder were real… But Jared made her feel like there was not another person in the world for her – he made her feel like no other person could – she was just selfish…
Biceps tugged their way up to the top of the climbing ‘wall’, the heat becoming more prominent as she reached higher and higher – although her eyes were focused on the mission, her mind was still very much in the conversation, eyes glittering at the thought of security and their stupid attempt at ensuring each patient was in bed. “I don’t think any of the guards actually are doing room checks… They all just seemed to be drunk every night – having their own fun around the campfire. Hey, I heard there’s some thing on Friday after all the patients go to bed? You should go… Show them that you don’t just socialise with the HOT twenty year olds – you know? Have fun… Not too much though, I mean – I’m not there.” Pearls glistened at her own joke, half serious and half genuine. By all means, she wanted her lover to have fun; it wasn’t as though he got out very often… Sure, he did the typical mingling in the corridors but Demetria hadn’t really noticed him gel with anyone other than Dana – and that was only because they had been friends for years. As she dwelled on her prior statement, thinking of how boring it was probably going to be anyway, the sounds of the oceans lapping against rubber and plastic crashed into her eardrums, whilst hazels finally took in the scenery – the view showing the camp in its ENTIRETY. It was like some exotic landscape. That was where they all went in the movies, right? Some hillside, gazing out to the town before them. Everything seemed so miniscule – so insignificant despite the fact that they weren’t even that far from the shore. If they were to share some victorious kiss, Jared ( the HERO ) being rewarded by his damsel, would anybody even realise? Probably not – but it wasn’t worth the risk. With her hands on her hips, a smile apparent, the beauty glanced down to Jared where her eyes were suddenly widened in shock at how quickly he had managed to clamber up the side of the rock-climbing obstacle. Was there anything he COULDN’T do? Jared Jones was a man of many talents – his physique was something he looked after and something he should have been proud of, it was no wonder he had been chosen to man this and the hiking trail.
Watching Jared R O C K E T down to the bottom of the slide, the beauty followed bravely – going feet first and holding a breath in an attempt to save herself from the salt water that she was ready to land in. If he had missed her UNSEXY gasp before, he was certainly going to see it now… Sure, she was soaked entirely, droplets of water accessorising her cheeks as naturally blackened lashes battered up to him – but it wasn’t as though she was wearing a push up bra with a see through white shirt – although the lifejacket did seem to enhance that department. There was almost nothing sexy about this situation and the fact that she looked like a drowned rat… Jared’s ambition and TEASING was something used in the oppositional argument, however. God, she could have let him carry on for hours but eventually, somebody would have realised that he was missing from his post and Rivers’ was nowhere to be found. Inflatable sex probably would have been FUN… It was the getting caught that would be the killjoy. Perhaps, they could come back here later. Slicking her ravenous locks back, the beauty came to the surface – letting out her heavy breath, whilst thumbs cleared her eyes of any excess residue blinding her temporarily. As viridescents glanced out to the red and blue balls bobbing along the water, she allowed her jaw to drop – corners of her lips curving up as it became apparent just how COMPETITIVE he was… They were more alike than they even knew – but the beautiful thing was that they were starting to learn. It was little instances like this, where light was shed on how far compatible they truly were.
“Race? Hey – that is not fair. I have little legs compared to you… Like REALLY little legs. I’ll end up falling in the water manoeuvring from ball one to ball two. How about… You walk on top of the balls whilst I swim through? The loser has to get up on a table later on and encourage a bunch of strangers to do the macarena. You’re on.”
And with that, the beauty found herself under the water’s surface – barely even giving Jared the opportunity to commence a countdown. Demetria had this one in the bag, that was for sure… And as always, she was one step ahead of the game. Soaring in between the metallic chains holding the balls in place – the brunette fumbled around in the ocean, struggling to open her eyes but palms found their way through the line of balls. Having quickly weighed up the maths before bobbing her head under the saltwater, Demi had counted a row of ten balls. Ten balls – that was what Jared had to walk across, whilst they swayed around in the water, testing his balance whilst all she had to do was swim under the surface, fighting her way through all of the chains. With her cheeks puffed out, eyes squinted ( if not, shut ), the beauty counted each chain she came across. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven – but where was eight, nine and ten? In a panic now ( only for competitive reasons ), Demi paddled back over to the left – in a desperate hope that she would come across lucky number eight and sure enough she did. Feeling her heart jump from her chest momentarily, Demetria continued to kick through the waters – counting the remaining three as she threw herself up from the water as though she had just one a swim meet, palms grabbing onto the rope that took her up to the next platform. Gasping for an air of breath, she looked around her to figure out whether she had won or not but Jared was nowhere to be seen… He hadn’t already won and gone crashing down on the next obstacle, had he? That was when she heard the water below splashing – his burly palms grabbing onto the platform edge and pulling himself atop, the victorious look on his face dissipating as he realised that she had already beaten him to it. Lips curved into a sadistic smile, eyes twinkling with mischief as she readied herself to make fun of him – as always.
“Nice trip, huh? So much for being an expert. You can’t even walk across the balls either without falling in. Looks like you’re doing the macarena, Jared… Let’s just hope there are a group of old ladies on an over sixties cruise awaiting you and drinking something DULL like a sex on the beach.”

As the movie propelled itself forward Jared was all too encompassed with the beauty nestled securely within his grasp. He began to feel less anxious about their union, the steps that they were taking on this rocky road to happiness. There was a very key difference between this moment and what had happened to him back in Georgia; Demetria Rivers was of age for this encounter. Sure, she was barely above the legal red tape that seemed to surround Jared and the woman he found alluring but the fact still remained. Demi was considered, in the eyes of the law, an A D U L T and was more than capable of making adult decisions. The only issue here was the status she held within the walls of Brielle - patient, but that affliction could be cured, she only had to prove to Robert that she had seen the error of her ways; that she was healthy and he would send her on her merry way - straight into Jared’s entirely willing arms.
The tutor resolved to aid Demi in this quest - to help her achieve this goal no matter the cost. Still the fact remained Jared had yet to experience any type of histrionic disorder displayed by the Rivers woman, bar the jarring encounter they had shared upon Jared’s first arrival. But if that was the case - how then could she be classified with such a selfish diagnosis? Surely she would have to have shown more than that one instance to have been awarded such a terrible prize? It dawned on him then that her encounter with JAX had been rather flirtatious - but the tutor was unaware of their dynamic outside that instance. Perhaps she and Jax were forming some kind of relationship, one that elicited the kind of interaction he and Demi had shared in the confined space outside Jared’s classroom. If that were the case Jared felt no remorse for pulling her away from him - better she be in a relationship with him than some asshole who was only going to use her to get his fix and then leave. The beauties worries had not fallen on deaf ears the night she’d come to him in tears - Demi had been used and discarded by other men - there was no way in HELL he was going to let that happen to her again.
Jared was pulled from this train of thought as brilliant hazel hues glanced up toward him, pulling him from his own mind and the escapades of the first year Hogwarts students. A soft smile came to his lips, and as the outro music played Jared happily tucked a bit of stray hair behind her ear, speaking as he did so. “Now who’s over thinking things?” His smile grew into a smirk and easily the tutor reached for the xbox controller in order to turn off the system. The television was set on a timer once the device had been turned off - so there was no need to go hunting for the remote.
Beneath her petite frame the raven haired male slipped his burly arms underneath her legs and comfortably against her back - with a bit of a scoot toward the edge of the couch Jared lifted Demi bridal style, grinning down at her all the while. “Wake me, by all means - it’ll be far better than any dream I could be having.” A small chuckle fell from his lips and with that Jared walked toward his bedroom - intent on showing Demi just how serious he was. Once within the confines of the room he tossed the beauty playfully on the bed, happily crawling in after her and collapsing his head onto one of his rather fluffy pillows.

Being scooped up into his arms like some TWISTED princess who had been rescued by her PRINCE CHARMING, the beauty couldn’t help but tiresomely clutch onto his shirt with the initial shock of being thrown into the air. A quiet giggle tugged on her vocal chords, pearls glistening like the stars – their astrological paths colliding against one another. For once in their relationship, the beauty actually felt as though she could fully trust him… He had given her reason to though, hadn’t he? Having got off to a rocky start, the male seemed to have done everything he could to fix his mistakes – which included sweet talking her, letting her choose the film, feeding her cold pizza and cuddling her until he melted her FROZEN heart. This was going to be the start of something beautiful; she could FEEL it. It was rather ironic really – being picked up as though she was a bride – although, their honeymoon phase had only just begun. For months, Demetria had been battling off the hopeless feelings that attacked her red blood cells; caging her heart and limiting the heavy beats it desperately attempted to give and here they were now – wrapped up in one another as if they should have been from day dot.
With an endearing smile, Demi listened to his MAGICAL words – all of the reassurance she needed laying comfortably in the comforts of his own voice. Although they weren’t really meant to be ( at least not right now ), there was no denying just how EFFORTLESS the sparks between them felt. Fireworks lifted into the air, crackling against black and overpowering the moonlit sky, hues of red twinkling against the dusky dark, crashes of pink carving images against the navy that was painted across the canvas of the world… Although they were both stuck in some crummy apartment, it felt as though they were on their own planet – something enchanting, like their own little mars. In this moment, nobody else mattered. Nothing else was important. All they could live by was the fact that they had each other – fingertips tracing trails and marking off destinations of where they wanted to go, but they didn’t NEED anything else. Right now, they weren’t counting on that special date or that new release out in theatres. Their pasts didn’t matter, because together – they were writing their own FUTURE.
Cradled in his burly arms, the beauty turned her hazels over to meet sapphires, which still shone like jewels under a fine light – each little crack behind his pupils visible; completely raw in vulnerability. There was no hiding that they had begun to bare all to each other… For the first time ( in a LONG time ), Demetria was letting somebody in and Jared was doing the same. “Wake you? You won’t E V E R catch me saying that to you… Don’t ever try to wake me up, unless it’s like really urgent and the apartment is burning down.” With a chuckle clambering up her vocal chords, the beauty crinkled her nose up at the thought of being disturbed from her BEAUTY SLEEP. Of course, she was only joking – she wouldn’t ever scold Jared for waking her, especially now that she knew she had something to look forward to each time she opened her eyes. Bare thighs collided with the cold of his duvet – the temperature just RIGHT as she scrambled under the duvet, instantly rolling onto her right so that she could get a better glimpse of him, the SERENITY of this moment settling into her soul.
Shuffling slightly and curling her thighs up to her stomach, hands tugging the feathered cushions closer to her shoulder so that she was propped up just the right amount, her spare arm readjusted the duvet so that her leg was poking out of the edge over so slightly. It was a strange mannerism to have, but the tutor would soon realise how Demetria normally slept – on her side, one leg freed from the confinements of heat. After a moment of silent passed, their eyes longingly gazing into one another, the brunette let out a small sigh as her digits found themselves against his forehead – not necessarily brushing stray locks back, but showing a sign of affection as her porcelain contrasting with the raven it slicked back. “Jared Jones… Didn’t your mother ever teach you to not leave electricity on or is that what happens when ROBERT pays your bills?” It was a tease at his relationship with his boss – a joke that she knew he would take lightly and a reminder in case he was so lost in the moment, that he had forgotten to turn all of the lamps off around the house. It was what their relationship had become; a series of inner jokes and quips in some bid to make the other smile… Anybody else may have said it was cheesy, but they knew exactly how to press the others buttons. It must have come from spending so much time with one another.
“Don’t tell me you have an app to turn everything off – I know you’ve gone through the troubles of setting your television on a timer. Next, you’ll be telling me that you read books on a kindle and my efforts in placing all of them on a shelf in alphabetical order on your first day was WASTED. God, I was trouble that day… I’m not going to apologise though. Imagine if I hadn’t of been... We might not both be laying here right now if I hadn’t of acted so desperate.”
Thinking about it – she was a PAIN in the ass, but it was the way she had always been. Not that she’d ever confess to it ( not even to herself ), but she was still the same way. Demetria thought that she was gods gift, she believed that she could get anybody she wanted and had Jared ever decided to end things, then she would have sure as HELL got him back – right in his face. That was her problem; she was very rarely told NO. A girl like Demetria Rivers was too used to getting everything she wanted; boys, possessions, revenge… She was a SPITEFUL being but hopefully, Jared would be able to change her ways – convince her to become a better person and encourage her wellbeing. It was what she was going to have to do if she wanted to get better and get OUT. Then again, there was always the possibility of Jared changing his mind. What if he had decided one day that she wasn’t the girl for him? What if somebody else came along who was a much better fit for him – somebody his own age, who had shared his own life experiences? Demetria would be left alone; kicked to the D I R T. It wasn’t like going back to California was an option – her parents didn’t even know who she was, the people who she had gone to school had moved on ( starting their own lives and even families )… The life that Demetria had known before Brielle and Serenity was long gone. Either way, she’d never know but it was a risk that was worth taking.

“They’re called eskimo kisses.” Jared said lightly, happily brushing his nose against the petite upturned feature of the woman he so admired. “But I’ve missed you too.” He uttered, grinning nearly from ear to ear, elation lifting from his chest as they finally had the chance to embrace one another. The subtle touch of her fingertips was not lost on Jared - her delicate fingertips against his forehead and temple as she brushed raven lock after lock back into place was all together dizzying for the tutor and for a moment he wondered just how long this intoxicating effect would take place. Surely it wouldn’t run out any time soon - and of course he was confident it NEVER would, but the fact still remained that a honeymoon phase was named as such because it was an real epidemic, how long would Demi and Jared last within this bubble of infatuation? Deciding not to entertain such droll theories the tutor instead drowning himself in the kiss that followed her phrase, the sheer euphoria than encapsulated his entire being as he petals drowned his in a flurry of passion and affection. Lord how he had missed her these past ninety six hours - how was it POSSIBLE that he had lasted so long without her touch in the first place?
A chuckle escaped those very same parted petals as the kiss ended - foreheads drawn together with the question she asked ‘how are you’ and once more was silenced bu the measured force against his lips yet again. The tutor couldn’t complain - this was something he’d wanted from the minute they’d stepped off their bus - and had been robbed of considering the high security and sheer amount of people present on the beach no matter how many times they’d attempted to meet. How he hadn’t seen this ploy coming was a shock - but in that moment Jared Jones was glad he had been so gullible - perhaps it had been his subconscious convincing him to come out toward the waters edge and hide behind some silly inflatable wall. Whatever the case he was here with Demetria now - and he was thankful for the experience.
His tongue battled against her own, parrying left and right as it fought to express just how much it had missed her company. A damp hand weaved itself through equally wet brunette waves - drawing the Rivers girl deeper into the embrace, refusing to take this simple moment for granted; unaware of just how long they could call the calm waters their own. When the entwinement came to it’s natural end - the event of which left Jared smiling like a dazed school boy he could only shrug, knowing Demi still expected an answer to her previous question - despite the hypnotized state she had left the tutor in moments prior. “Good.” Jared chuckled at the start, lips curving up toward his signature smirk as he mirrored her motions, drawing stray locks of chestnut away from her perfectly framed face, tucking them behind her pixie-esk ear as she inquired to his well being. “I’ve missed you - obviously.” He uttered, sapphires grazing over each and every curvature of her face, the subtle chubbiness of her cheeks and yet the striking cut of her jaw line. Demetria truly was gorgeous - more so than any woman could ever have dreamt to be. Perhaps that was the pheromones taking effect within the tutors system - but Jared could honestly say without a doubt he thought Demi was more beautiful than any other woman on the planet.
It was then he was reminded of her sour attitude on the bus - and to this Jared could only grin yet again, cheeks beginning to feel sore given the amount of times the brunette had made him smile within the last ten minutes. “Don’t apologize to me - say it to your buss mates, apparently everyone thought you were experiencing shark week…” The words came as a bit of a whisper as Jared drew his lips towards Demi’s ear, his voice falling like velvet on honey despite the sarcasm that was laced within them. He could only chuckle as an ensuing splash was sure to come his way - and instead he claimed the space between Demi’s ear lobe and collar bone as his newest territory - sprinkling kisses and love nips here and there. When that moment too passed the tutor found a new grip on the girl - hands firmly paced against her bottom whistle he walked her toward the entrance of the tunnel - hoisting her up without giving her a chance to protest.
It took only moments for Jared to follow Demi’s petite frame inside. Having half chucked her onto the inflated flooring of the massive tunnel he was able to crawl atop her on all fours, his thighs finding their way between her own - weaving his way between her legs like some master seductor. With a burly arm on either side of Demi’s head Jared began to place more kisses against her chest, lips following the guideline of the life vest - tongue lapping up the salty water that rested against her cleavage. “But enough about me - how’ve you been holding up?” He asked casually, lips busing themselves with re-famiiarizing their former territory.
Lips parted into a false expression of SHOCK at his shark week comment – ready to give him a playful slap, or as he had anticipated, a splash – but instead, the beauty did nothing but shake her head DISAPPROVINGLY. For some reason, whenever a woman was hormonal, it was always assumed that she was on her period. WRONG. Demetria was hormonal most of the time, to tell the truth. With a sour attitude and a personality to match, the beauty queen spent a majority of her time being the ROTTEN young women that she was… But there were people who cracked her personality; tossing the shell aside and allowing the yolk to boil – her centre warming at the exposure it had been given.
“Shark week?! Please. You haven’t seen ANYTHING yet. The last couple have been fine but usually they’re… Pretty dreadful – you don’t even want to know.”
Each corner to her petals remained curved, pointing in the direction of HEAVEN as he hoisted her up – forearms supporting her back end whilst thighs became entrapped by his triceps and abdominal region. How had she gotten so lucky? Sure, unlike most girls her age, her boyfriend ( if you could call him that ) was much older but he was GODLIKE. His body had been carved to perfection as though he was a storybook character with a Hercules-esque figure, his smile was enough to light the entirety of the world each morning, his eyes were just as mesmerising as the crystal clear blue that they were swimming in… Although she was TRAPPED in a place like Brielle, the beauty really felt as though she had it all… It even made her question, whether it was her that was PUNCHING above her weight? Maybe, Jared was the one out of her league…
Tossing her in through the tunnel as if she was some ragdoll, yet remaining as PROTECTIVE as he could in the process, a giggle vibrated it’s way up through her vocal chords – now echoing in the rubber tunnel that she had been placed in. Whilst she would have been able to clamber up to it herself, there was something COMICAL over Jared tossing her up there… It was playful, dreamy, ROMANTIC – particularly where he crawled in like he was some sort of saviour. Tilting her head to one side, so that the tutor could reach his destination, Demi chewed on her lower lip – hazels ignited by NOTHING due to the dim lighting within the tunnel, although with each new kiss, there was a fire brewing within her – causing viridsecents to GLEAM like a night sky lit by fireworks. The tip of his tongue snaked around, swirling a series of patterns against the porcelain of her neck, as though he was some VAMPIRE dying to get his fix – all whilst knowing that he would never be able to sink his teeth in. As her breaths became heavy, the brunette could feel herself slipping directly into Jared’s grasp – losing herself to the HELL that he was unleashing against her neck.
Digits found their way to his chin, tilting his gaze up to meet hers as she HOPELESSLY shook her head in his direction – the happiness splayed across her face enough to dish out amongst one hundred fairy tale stories, filling it’s readers with an everlasting bundle of joy… Although Demetria was GREEDY – she wasn’t willing to share her excitement with anybody. In all honesty, she could have allowed him to continue pressing his lips across every inch of her skin – his tongue a fingertip travelling from continent to continent, mapping out the journey it would be taking on it’s ADVENTURE but there was no way she could catch up with those kinds of distractions. They had known each other for at least four months now and whilst it had taken three months for them to have finally acknowledge their feelings for one another, they had very much fallen very deeply, very quickly. The ‘honeymoon phase’ was a beautiful thing and Demi pondered momentarily, over how long it might last. If anything, they got TWO honeymoon phases… There was the time they were spending here, right now – whilst she was a patient in the institute. But there would also be a second time – where she was FREE, released into the world and be given the opportunity to start a new life.
“I’ve been… Good, I think. I didn’t sleep very well on the bus – it was… It was hot and loud and…. All I could think about was – Jared, I can’t TALK if you carry on doing that. Stop teasing me.”
Wriggling out from his grasp and crawling across the slippery rubber, knees gliding along the inflatable from the water that had barely dried from her skin – the beauty went head first into the next drop, unaware that there was another gap full of water. Soaring up to the surface again, allowing a rather UNSEXY exhale to get rid of the water, she gazed up to witness him crashing in after – his body almost curling up into a cannonball as he hit the water – a tidal wave CRASH coming in her direction. The apples of her cheeks had gone rosy, lips almost TEARING from the never ending smile that had been cast upon her – but she wouldn’t have had it any other way. As soon as the raven haired man came bursting up and out of the shallow ( ish ) pool that he had been rocketed into, the beauty gave one look up towards the steep ‘rock climbing’ wall that was next on the course. Fucking hell, he wanted to make this DIFFICULT, didn’t he? Fingers wrapped their way inside of the miniature holes – her right foot lifting to tuck itself in too, only she didn’t realise how slippery it was going to be until she attempted to grip on.
"So yeah – sleep deprived but it was worth it for THIS. Each time I did doze off, I soon found myself waking up, wondering how you were doing at the front without Sebastian or Dana. I was lucky to have Charlie… I’m still lucky to have Charlie but I know that there is someone else I’d rather be sharing a room with. Please tell me you bought your laptop, by the way – I am DYING to watch that next episode of Orange Is The New Black. Don’t you wanna find out what happens to Poussey? I swear, if you ever think about watching ahead without me, then I am going to murder you, Jared. I get super serious about TV shows, okay?”
