AURUM. (X-MEN OC)

Beware of the unorganized ramble below...

Jen Cantu (AURUM) is cursed with the same curse commonly known as "The Midas Touch". Made of a malleable gold skin, his body is still similar in most ways to that of a human. His internal being- organs, bones, nervous system, etc.- is all that of a normal human, except it's skin is made of gold. They were born pure, however they weren't "strong" enough. Though obviously more durable than human skin, the gold wasn't invincible. They were taken and "improved" when their pure gold skin was fused with other metal alloys. It wasn't perfect, but it was stronger. Though it didn't before, his skin now rusts. He has to be careful and maintain himself to keep the rust and oxidation out. They have clothing that has gold infused with it to keep it from turning into hard metal, and this clothing includes gloves which protect everyone around them. They are very careful and have never willingly used this power.
