What is NaKniCroMo?

NaKniCroMo is a this cool little event I am organizing to happen in March! It stands for National Knitting and Crochet Month. I use national lightly as I made it up and also it is open internationally to all you fiber lovers everywhere else.

So what is it? Well, have you ever heard of NaKnoWriMo? If you haven’t, it’s where lots of people band together and all try to write a novel/50,000 words in ONE MONTH. That’s huge from most people’s stand point.

So I wanted to do something like that, but for knitting and crochet and any other fiber related arts!

As far as goals go, I’ll have a few different “pre-set” goals but what you decide to do for the month as your goal is entirely up to you! Things like a certain amount of yardage used, time per day spent, stashbusting, or WIP busting!

I’m moving all the future updates from my blog (cozysoulcrochet) to this official blog! So please give it a follow for any future updates! It would be awesome and helpful aslo if you could reblog/share this post to spread the word so we can all be crazy together!
