Did you know it’s ok to try out different things and decide you don’t like them? Did you know you can explore yourself, endlessly? Did you know that what you like and how you feel can change minute by minute or decade by decade and that’s ok? Did you know that the only person you have to be true to is yourself? Did you know that your identity can be static or fluid and neither is wrong? This is all a journey and where you are now doesn’t invalidate who you were before or who you will be in the future.

The best thing you can do for yourself after a relapse episode is still take care of yourself.
Still take that daily shower, still put on some comfortable clothes, still treat yourself some warmth and love, still journal down your emotions, still remind yourself why you want to keep going.
Don't skip brushing your teeth or hair. Don't skip trimming your nails, don't skip moments and actions of self-care. Give yourself time and a break if that's what you need, but don't forget to still take care of yourself.
Don't stop. Recovery isn't linear, and that's normal. Keep going.

before making even the slightest joke about someone’s body or appearance, please remember they carry that comment to their grave they sit and cry about their own skin for the rest of their lives, all because you wanted to crack a joke and look cool.

Remember that many "wellness" influencers care more about their wallet than about your actual wellness. If it triggers anxious thoughts about your life, if it makes you hate yourself, if you feel like your relationship with food is suffering, you may block and move on at any time. And THAT'S wellness.

It's okay to dislike being touched. It does not matter if they're your parents, siblings, friends, caretakers, family members, or anyone else. You are allowed to uphold your boundaries.

Dear, sweet, Littlefoot, do you remember the way to the Great Valley? I guess so. But why do I have to know if you’re going to be with me? I’ll be with you. Even if you can’t see me. What do you mean I can’t see you? I can always see you.
