The breadsticks thing to me is hilarious I think it must be another Europe/America thing bc my whole life ‘breadsticks’ have been these hard crunchy thin stick things you buy them at the supermarket and it says breadsticks on the box Never in my life has anyone around me referred to an actual stick of bread as a breadstick lmao But then we don’t have Olive Garden either

Look carefully at Elsa in this scene: she nods. She nods, which means she has made up her mind and isn’t going to change it.
Now many of you Frozen fans know that this is footage from the new Frozen II teaser trailer. It begins with Elsa standing all alone on a rocky shoreline as she stares at the ocean in front of her. It’s apparent that she is separated from someone important to her, someone she loves dearly (Anna, perhaps?), and so she has made up her mind on what to do now.
And just what has she decided she is going to do?
Cross the ocean.
But Elsa doesn’t just impulsively jump into doing that. She prepares herself by discarding her jacket, cape, and boots (isn’t it cool to see Elsa barefoot? 😉) and tying her hair back before she finally makes the move to cross the ocean.
And Elsa doesn’t make her move by timidly or hesitantly walking on the ground and taking that kind of a step on the water, after which it freezes beneath her. She runs. She actually runs, and much like an athlete, which we have not seen her do before, while on the shore and she doesn’t stop upon finally coming to the water. Rather, she merely continues to run onto the water and shows absolutely no signs of slowing down or stopping.
Now we don’t know yet why Elsa has decided to cross the ocean, but it’s obvious to me that she has decided to do it because it’s the only thing she can do now in order to fulfill whatever her goal is.
In the original film, Elsa was constantly full of anxiety, insecurity, and fear when it came to her powers, and she would probably never have thought to use them even to face dangerous waters. But as we see by these moments, Elsa has grown into a stronger, braver, confident, and determined woman. She’s not going to let any of her past demons interfere with what she needs to do now. Her determination to apparently find, rescue, and reunite with (presumably) Anna is stronger than her own fears.
And yet, when Elsa first tries to cross the ocean, she gets knocked down by a wave.
But does she let that stop her? Absolutely not!
She just tries again by starting back at the shore and running on the water, then avoiding another wave by jumping into and swimming through it!
Guys, is Elsa a totally cool, badass queen or what?!?!
