Yo its friday! Hope you fine. Today is the last blog of my journey for my entrepreneur subject. Thank God its done🤗

Well I just want to share how my colleagues and me manage to pull out our ventured business.

Last time we decided to venture out a kind of business that is related to the current situation which is pandemic, that we, not only to sell and earn, but to help the people as well. So we decided to push on health kits for them mainly facemask and other important safety kits.

We've made our research for that. So we are going to sell cloth mask with innovative design, a alcohol keychain and vaccination card holder. So we can help those people to become comfortable from wearing facemask and other health kits. The reason why we pulled this out is because we wanted our costumer to feel comfortable in every situation without hassle, we also found out that surgical mask is sometimes uncomfortable to wear and easy becoming dusty and easily torn. So we decided on cloth mask since its washable and we can use it again.

So during our last defense with our panel maam Callar, she only ask us about our competitive edge. Well of course we identified first our competitor/s and we found one. Our one-step advantage from our competitor is we sell facemask but we focused more in the local community. Our competitor is an international selling facemask so they have big market. But their disavadvantage which become our advantage is they dont focus on specific market compared to our marketing where we focus our marketing and selling locally in Bukidnon as our Target market specifically we agreed that our possible target are those person range from 15-40 years old because as we said in our defense, these are the people who spend more time online and our advantage is we are shift online so possible target market can be achieved. In selling our product we transact payment through COD (Cash-On Delivery), gcash, palawan, etc. We consider all possible payment to let our costumer choose.

Well that ends our journey and thats it for me to share. I just want to say that we could do better in face-to-face. Yet we are hopeful that we can create this kind of idea even this time to help and earn at the same time.

After we have orally proposed our ventured business, our instructor did some comments and views about our proposal and yet we need to improve the ventured business that we have planned to do.

Our next move is to find business partner or supplier since the proposal was good ( though it needs more improvement) and yet we found one online. Our possible business partner who also sells facemask but this time its water repelant mask. You know when it rains, surgical mask is prone to water because it can easily be wet with water, so our goal is to find supplier who sells water repelant cloth mask. Again we pick cloth mask as it is washable, meaning you need not to buy many surgical mask because you just need one plus we put an innovation which is the kleenex (that will become our one-step advantage towards other competitors) filter. Using facemask daily will help the bacteria stuck in the facemask and the more you use it the more it can make you prone to deseases. But in our case, it is solved. The air we breath is always clean now that we have our kleneex filter. Also we made changes, we removed the faceshield and we replace it with vaccination card holder since we have those and also we where it because thats our ID nowadays to let the government identified that we have been vaccinated.

So much for planning, the team members (us) are currently touching our final proposal so we need to fix everything ( though we are currently busy with each others responsibility) finding time to VC with team members. We have each assigned topics to collaborate with, mine was partner with my co-team Vanessa. We are assign for target market and revenue model. Our target market are those people that will entertain our product, example teenagers who likes to try new things, lazy people who are lazy to buy facemask everytime, so were giving them solution. And the revenue streams are still online transactions and the delivery mode is COD (Cash-On-Delivery) and meet up calls.

So much for that, we havent finalize yet but we will hopefully.

Another day, another learning. Today lets talk about entreprenuership. Last time I learn about a little but right now I added a little. Tell you what, I'm not interested for many things and I am quiet selective when it comes to information thats why I dont shine a lot🤪😁✌

Last time I learned about what is really an entrepeneur, now, lets talk about the things that is important to consider to be an entrepreneur.

I have learned that the most important factor for when it comes to business are the costumers. Without them, who will buy, make sense? And of course, they will determine your success by giving them preferences. Preferences means what the costumers wants and needs.

Starting a business is not a jump-to-what-you-think-is-good for you, rather, you need to conduct observation first. Even ongoing businesses still needs to observe their costumers for their preferences, the design, taste of food, texture, anything about costumers preference that is why costumer evaluation is important. It is called market validation, every costumer differ in terms of needs from one another. It is important that before operating a business, make sure that your products and services fit their(costumers) needs.

As this entrepreneurship subject I was enrolled with, I would say interesting especially I am planning to start my own business soon. As the subject starts, it gives knowledge of what really means to be an entrepreneur. There's only two words that catch my attention, creativity and innovation. I have learned that being an entrepreneur should not only sell for profit but selling a product that is creative and innovative. The very reason for that is the fact that you are not the only entrepreneur, you are not alone and the fact that you are not the only one who sell that kind of product you were selling. So we are talking about competitors. Now the question is, "how can we compete with them?" The answer lies in creativity and innovation. For example, you own a shop and you sell a cherry mobile phones. Beside your shop is another shop of cellphone selling Iphone, Samsung, realme, apple, etc. So now its obvious, people would choose and buy a cellphone that is advance with better features. Android phones evolve faster than we expected and cherry phones are outmatch because its a low very version. People are asking for faster and best feature phones that is why android phone companies hustle for innovation.

In my experience before this pandemic happen, there is a vendor in our town Maramag who sells fishball and kwikwik but what I like the most is their sauce. I don't know what additives they had put in that sauce but seriously, its delicious than those sauces I'ved tasted from those stall beside his. So whenever I'm hungry, there's only one food stall I go. I also looked at his costumers. He often run out of fishball sometimes because there are many people eating in his food stall. I can say that this vendor is creative because he really gets that very taste of what people wants that is why he is more competitive that the other food stalls in his corner.

Creativity and innovation is very important in running a business because we have competitors and one why to outrun them is to be unique or innovative/creative idea. But of course, its also important that we have to consider the costumer's preferences that is why profiling is one way to get information by directly asking your target market or through observation.
