"Possibly this is what the traffic intersection of the future looks like: All possible kinds of vehicles on the road, no traffic lights, no guardrails, no speedlimit - and no accidents! ... little aliens driving by on the highways of Avant-garde and Anarchy. Recorders rock! Such energy!"
Thank you so much, Günter Moseler, for this review of our gig in Münster, Germany! We, little aliens, hope we get to drive down your town again one day.

In less than a year after our debut EP, 'Bristly', we present our second EP, 'Gnaw', on July 6. With these songs, we celebrate deep frustration and the power to confront these frustrations. Hopefully this music moves you in the same way as it moved us. In any case, this undoubtly will be the oddest summer release of 2018.
This month, we'll do a crowdfunding campaign on Voordekunst. Your support will enable us to release both EPs on CD and vinyl. This is going to be the grand cadenza of all our work so far; our eternal gratitude will be yours if you can give us that last push to make this dream come true.
Jerboah’s double EP 'Bristly+Gnaw’ will be released on July 6 vinyl + CD + online Please support this release on Voordekunst in May

This was the night that we met the Bang on a Can All-Stars and that the crowd sang along. “So, you’d like my babies. Not here, but in a parallel universe.” (photos by Knelis)

Elements was ON!
We premiered Elements in Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, Amsterdam, together with Nieuw Ensemble and a big light plan. An epic composition inspired by the evolution of the elements after the Big Bang.  Brechtje shared some thoughts // “Hemeltje! What a trip yesterday, last week, last months. Yesterday Elements had it’s première, with 16 musicians (Nieuw Ensemble + Jerboah, conducted by Ryan Bancroft) and a light team of 23 people on stage. Yesterday afternoon was the first moment we did a run of the 25 minutes long music piece, that we build up the whole light plan and we combined these two. Lots of firsts, lots of excitement and lots of last minute challenges. But all of it was fun, because it was such a supporting, passionate group of people and because the result was overwhelming and unexpected in a good way. I finally got to experience the piece that I had been working on for months - “Ah, so THIS is it!”. I love doing this. Creating this half an hour universe and exploring aaaaaaaall the possibilities of such a big group of instruments and aaaaaaall ways to be inspired by the wonder of physics. This is the first attempt in a long series of trials and errors. Performance art rocks! I’d love to rework Elements and try to make it tighter, more effective, more complete. What will the next possibility be...?”

After the premiere (above), we also performed Elements in Korzo, The Hague (below).
