Every aspect of Jeremy's characterisation is perfect to me. He's captain sunshine; He has enough self-loathing to rival Jean Moreau. He had a cardboard dog called BarkBark von Barkenstein who lived in his friends' garage; It deadass probably gave him more emotional support than his own family. He dedicates himself to caring for everyone around him in the kindest, most selfless manner possible; It's all to atone for the biggest regret of his life, and it will never be enough. He likes yo-yos. What more could we want?

If Jeremy does have ADHD (and the textual evidence is there (god you can see the English major (I promise I’m not that pretentious))) imagine when he allows himself to not mask infront of Jean.

- when he is having one of those rapid thougjts days that causes him to do the most. He wants to help Jean in the kitchen, but keeps messing up. So he cleans but then gets distracted halfway through and starts playing with Jabberwocky and the whole to Jean is following behind to clean behind him. When Jeremy goes to finish cleaning BAM it’s already cleaned but he doesn’t remember cleaning it. This overwhelms him so he asks Jean who says he cleaned it. Jeremy gets a little upset because Jean shouldn’t have to clean behind Jeremy like this. So he makes it up by cleaning the kitchen after Jean finishes cooking.

- He starts taking medication at some point but he can’t stand it. A) he doesn’t like taking pills. It stresses him out to take a pill for multiple of reasons. B) he hates how it makes him feel. Like super zombie. So, he asks his therapist if he could try something else and they start learning new techniques

- Jean actually adores Jeremy sillies but Jeremy does get frustrated when he has them. Jean read that fidget toys help with adhd so he gets him a fidget spinner then it slowly becomes a collection

- He does find that Exy and working out helps a lot which makes sense because… that’s what he’s use to. He begins a new routine that he has Jean apart of and they do cute couple work outs. The only time his brain calms is with exy (THIS IS MY THEORY! ISTG YHAT BOY WILL BE THE MOST FOCUSED EXY PLAYER DURING A GAME AND THATS WHY HES SO GOOD AT IT)

Aaron Minyard who hates syrup, not because he finds it gross but because it reminds him of his childhood, the days Tilda didn't have enough money for groceries and all there was in the kitchen was white bread and a bottle of syrup so he'd make syrup sandwiches. Aaron Minyard who hates ketchup for a similar reason, because it reminds him of the times he'd put it on days-old leftover white rice for some flavor because anything was better than plain. Aaron Minyard who isn't the biggest fan of cereal, only because he remembers the days when milk was scarce and he'd have to water it down to make it last, or the days they had no milk at all and he'd have to make do with just water cause it still beat dry cereal. Aaron Minyard who liked drugs because it helped distract him from the sharp hunger pain and aches in his stomach but it also made him understand why Tilda never had enough money for food, why his mother would steal from his secret little cash stash that was always low on money anyways. Aaron Minyard with two adorable little twin girls, Aaron Minyard who makes sure that their fridge is always full and the pantry always is loaded with snacks, so his daughter's never know the stomach sensation of starvation.

7. nicky headcanon. i have soo many so you’ll get a couple sad ones hope u don’t mind

completely wrecks his sleep schedule staying up late to wish erik a good morning before he goes to work and waking up early to talk more over erik’s lunch break. gets worse during periods when he’s particularly sad or lonely and missing erik. erik tries to get him to sleep for longer but accepts nicky’s compromise of napping in the afternoons

has capital B Bad days. during the years with the twins in columbia any day when he was off work during the hours the twins were in school were days he wouldn’t get out of bed. just lay there until the twins got home when he threw on the most hollow smile to get started on dinner. tried to fake sick during one of those days his freshman year but one stern look from abby was enough to keep him moving like a sickeningly cheerful ghost through the day. thinks no one notices but most do. not the most natural fake smile.

had a beat-down car in columbia during the first months with the twins. it was the car aaron learned to drive in. was already falling apart when he got in a minor car accident that made repair costs get too high, so sold it for its parts and got the keys to the gs. (incredibly inconvencienced by not having the keys to the mas bc it’s not like andrew is getting the groceries.)

slept with a man for money once, after a shift at eden’s. the guy was a customer and nicky found him hot anyways so didn’t initially think much of it. felt very strange during and had a breakdown while talking to erik afterwards, mostly about his ‘promiscuity’. erik is the only one he’s told and he knows he can never tell andrew.
