1. Definition of Lust

Lust is an overwhelming craving or desire to satisfy oneself

2. Why is lust sinful?

The underlying motivation is covetousness and greed.

1 John 2:16

A Christian cannot continue to live in his former lustful ways.

We are called to live by God 's Way and according to His Word

Man's will produces lust, God's will produces love.

How do we overcome lust?

A. Put to death our flesh

Col 3:5

Fast from social media and if does not work, delete your social media account.

We must put to death our lust.

B. Build up your spiritual warfare.

Matt 5:8

The intend and thought we have is adultery to God.

Matt 5:29

Cut out your stumbling blocks

There will be pain but in the end we will be right with God.

C. Learn to be contented with what you have.

Heb 13:5

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, forge has said, I .......
