Random white tumblr users would maybe benefit from ceasing to view racism as an immutable thing that you are and rather a thing that you do. So many people get confronted with their implicit biases and instead of stopping and saying 'oh yeah, they're right, I should do something to change that', they say 'but I'm not racist, because racist people are evil and I'm not evil.' Unfortunately racist people are your uncle, and your mother, and your sister, and your friend, and you. It's not an immutable characteristic, it's a thing that you do, and you're so caught up in your perception of yourself as a 'good person' that you choose to be blind to the racism you perpetuate, thus staying racist. It's a vicious ironic cycle.

hello, my name is redacted, i am a homeless asylum seeker. home office does not give me any financial support, and therefore, i have a donation page set up. there is also a recurring donations now, if you regularly have disposable income. please don't feel pressurised to support me though. there's also a store set up, where i summarise mental health papers, but i've been too sick to do that recently.

i spend about £80-120 a month [£2.26-£4 a day.] a lot of this is because i regularly need to travel for both healthcare and legal appointments.

on that note -- i have gotten an appointment for my second interview!!! it is not close to where i live, so if someone can help, that would be great.

hey i just saw your post about pete wentz (link below) and i was wondering if you could explain the context a little? i’ve looked into the pete wentz dating a minor allegations from the 2000s and came to my own conclusion that they were false, though im not 100% convinced and am open to new evidence. is that what you were referring to, or something else? to be clear this is all respectful and i just want to learn. thanks!!

To my knowledge there isn’t new evidence? The story has (to my knowledge) stayed p consistent on the accusers end, but aside from some livejournal entries and some podcast interviews. That’s really all there is… now I’m not saying it did or it didn’t happen, I genuinely don’t know! But idk where to point you for more information. Sorry about that.
