Update: am watching (on episode ~1x8). Y’all were right — it rules. Started from the beginning and have nearly cried laughing multiple times (the hijacked propaganda film in particular got me good.) Hawkeye quickly becoming one my best silliest guys. I see what y’all mean about certain components being a bit rough… especially with the sexism (bad. Oof) … but I still am taken aback (in a good way) at how blatantly anti-war it is from the jump. Don’t think you could put that on American TV today and have it be totally mainstream and beloved.
