Liam Payne, former member of One Direction, dies after falling from a hotel in Buenos Aires

Liam Payne, former member of the band One Direction, died at the age of 31 after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. The singer was staying at the Hotel Casa Sur, in the Palermo neighborhood, when the incident occurred.

Authorities were alerted by a report of a man in an altered state, and upon arrival, confirmed his death at the scene. Payne, known for his time in One Direction and his solo career, had been in Argentina for reasons that have not yet been clarified.

Investigations are expected to provide further details about what happened.
