I met a ghost in a dream once.

He had been an army general in his life, though for how long, I didn't think to ask. It was clear he hadn't seen much war. His hair and his uniform were both in immaculate condition, and his iron cross (the christian type) looked almost brand new, and shone when the light hit it.

He was very stern, never smiled, and looked mostly miserable. He couldn't remember why, but he was haunting an old, abandoned mansion in the middle of the woods. Seemed unable to leave it.

We hung out and became friends*, and ever since I've been trying to recreate his likeness somehow, although I'm not a great artist. This is the closest I could get.

Wanted to try my hand at a steampunk aesthetic and I think I succeeded! My favourite part about this one is the little pocket watch on his left hip 🕰
