I am going to talk about 1.6 stargazer (but not very well)

I like this theme:

The fact 'beautiful but wrong' starts with the chimes ITS JUST LIKE THE ASTRONEMER THEME but its wrong its different and it builds of this melody, the main string bit makes it feel so grim (idk music theory)

ASTRAL VISION:

why has this attack given me psychic damage?

Edwin belived his humanity was a worthy sacrifice to see whats out there. It is why he is here right now, attacking you, trying to convince you to let him remake you. Given he had his reason for becoming cursed, how can he convince you to let him? He has no mouth, there is no way he's writing down the entire universe so what does he do? He tries to show you what he's seen, astral vision isn't some vision into the future, its a very literal vision of something astral (the whole universe). But sam and co? They don't get it, their minds are not made to comprehend the whole of space. This is why it inflicts confusion, they simply can't understand what the stargazer is trying to show them. So the battle continues

Misc:

They gave him his own background and his own intro (only him and the grinning beast gained a new intro from this update). Biggest glowup of the update (if I turn a blind eye to the war apartment and rat king and wriggly fred award and elavator thing and audery gear)

Okay finally finished up this sketchpage. But my favourite little detail in fanart for the Masked Shadow is when they have it visibly hold up it's mask like a queer little thing.

working on a pre-visitor design for taxidermy based on the person you see grafted on it :) (I hc them as being their previous skin they shed when becoming the wires, which they of course preserved) learning how to render very dark skin is a lot of fun, it's so reflective!

Here was my piece for the Look Outside @homebodieszine ! I played Look Outside fairly recently, and was really struck with the genuine humanity in the game, if ur a horror or rpg game fan I really recommend it -- it was an instant favorite of mine! I do like how Spine is getting a lot more love now that 1.6 is out, but it saddens me to see that a lot of people are still missing the new nuances to her personality that the update gave her... and it could just be because the events to unlock those (as well as Sam's feelings about it) are VERY RARE if you're not savescumming to find them (except the daily ones, which you just have to know are there, and I'm imagining the intended impact of those lines - especially the lead-in ones - are meant to catch players who changed their mind about sparing her and were going back to kill her to put a stop to the apartment/sleep events).

SO, in case people want to know what's happening without save-scumming... I present you a GDrive full of screenshots I compiled by savescumming to get most of the new events during both betas (since I spent a lot of time harrassing Frankie to make sure the events worked, because for a while they were buggy).

THESE ARE HUGE SPOILERS so if anybody wants to ever encounter these in the wild in the manner Frankie intended them to be encountered, don't look! But if people just want to know what Spine is up to in the new content without having to spend hours and hours farming up the dialogues yourselves, here you go!

This is the original 1.05S set - most of them are intact but you'll notice some changed.

These are the ones I was able to find in 1.6 that were either new, or that were changed.
