hammond’s existence is just like. depressing to me. it’s really obvious that blizzard has given up on trying to develop overwatch’s story and everything they do now is just for the gameplay. they didnt want to make a character, they just wanted an explanation for why you can play as a wrecking ball. they dont make animated shorts. they dont make comics. michael chu admitted that he’s not much more than a character consultant these days. it’s just sad to see this world with so much potential abandoned before it could even start
