I had a long post ready where the punchline was about cooking a lalafell in a stew because fuck em, that’s why. Ultimately, tumblr glitched and killed the post.

For eggs, scramble them and add Mexican hot sauce and a nice cheddar over top. For the potatoes, fried with a Cajun seasoning.

So about 8 months ago, I posted this. I made a decision to leave the FC I had been in for four years to return to the very one I started in.

When I left The Returners back in 2015, it was over leadership drama, but it definitely broke my heart to leave. Part of me still somewhat regrets the circumstances of leaving, even if it had to be done.

I don’t think I’ll ever really feel good talking about what made me come back. Even if The Returners is now basically an empty FC with a population of like... 2 people (hi @cardboredbox), I still know it’s the right call.

And you know what? I’ve been playing more too. I’m enjoying the game again, slowly but surely.

Jason Mraz was right. Wherever you go, you can always come home.

With the Christmas season over, we’ve got the New Year approaching. Truth be told, there’s a lot of cynicism that goes around (perhaps rightfully so) with the new coming year. Sometimes hope that the coming New Year will be better.
