[It's a colorful Easter basket with a covered bowl of rabbit stew. There's no note, but judging by the usage of yarn for grass in the basket, it was probably Pearl who thought this was a good idea.]

[He hums when he finds it in his mailbox, pulling it out and giving it a little spin around to see the pretty design. He does have to pull out a small cutting of yarn from where it'd sunk into his finger, but oh well, that's a given when you're made of fluid.]

[It felt a little strange to be home after so long away. Gave him that same weird feeling akin to coming home after a vacation, he thought. He supposed he actually did just come back from a vacation, albeit not the best one in the world.]

[But not being able to see the glaring sun- the lapping waves of the sea against the sand he'd grown so unusually used to. Much less the camp he'd built (even if it had been plagued and destroyed by cub) and the community he'd made courtesy of being the very first person to be exiled. Of course he was happy to be home, to see his pretty forest with its thick treetops and ornate decor again, but he did feel a sense of bittersweet.]

[He'd won, that was good. No Poe had left victorious. But he couldn't lie when he said he did sort of miss exile, as twisted as it might sound.]
