Long Distance Relationshit.

            Para sa isang normal na tao, ano nga ba ang kahulugan ng salitang “pag-ibig”? Karamihan sa atin ay nakaranas na kung paano ma-“in love” pero, alam ba talaga natin ang literal na depinisyon nito? May mga taong nagsasabi na ang pag-ibig daw ay isang napakamasalimuot na proseso. Ito kasi ay kinapapalooban ng malalalim na nararamdaman ng isang tao. Maaari itong tumalakay sa pag-ibig sa Diyos, pamilya, kaibigan at sa isang taong minamahal mo ng lubos.

            Posible nga kayang magkaroon ng pagtitinginan ang dalawang taong kailanman ay hindi itinadhanang magkaroon ng pagkakataong makita ang isa’t-isa sa personal? Yung tipong sa “internet” lamang kayo nagkakilala pero malalim at matibay ang nararamdaman ng inyong mga puso. Kahit hindi pa kayo nagkikita ay parang may isang koneksyon lang talagang nagdudugtong sa inyong dalawa. Yung masasabi nating, “pagmamahalan sa pagitan ng malayong distansya”. Tanging “video call”, “phone call” at “text messaging”  lamang kayo nakakapag-usap at nagkikita.

            Alam kong karamihan sa atin ay hindi naniniwala sa ganitong klase ng “pag-ibig”. Pero, sa panahon ngayon, tanggapin man natin o hindi, totoong nagaganap ito sa kasalukuyan. Lalo pa’t umuusbong ang paggamit ng teknolohiya at iba’t ibang mga bagay na kung ating titignan ay parang magagawa natin sa isang iglap at maging sa isang kisapmata lamang.

            Isa mang napakalaking kalokohan kung inyong bibigyan ng kahulugan pero, marami na akong taong nakahalubilo na may ganitong sitwasyon. At maski ako, ang aking sarili. Oo, masaya talaga siya sa umpisa. Kung tawagin nga ng iba ay “challenging” pa raw. Yung may mga pagkakataong iisang tao lang ang iyong iniisip bago ka matulog sa gabi at paggising mo sa umaga. Yung tipong pagmulat ng iyong mga mata ay may mamumutawi agad na ngiti sa iyong mga labi dahil sa inyong napag-usapan o napagkwentuhan kinagabihan. Yung kahit na sobrang imposible, pero ramdam mo sa iyong sarili, na siya ay iyong mahal. Ibang-iba ang iyong nararamdaman. Iba ang iyong tingin sa mga taong nakapaligid sa’yo. Iba at mas positibo ang iyong pagtingin sa mga bagay na dumarating sa iyong buhay. Iba talaga, “as in”,  ibang iba.

            May mga oras pa nga na mapapangiti ka na lang nang basta-basta dahil sa kanyang mga sinasabi sa’yo. Sa kanyang ipinapadalang mga mensahe na sa tiyak ko ay nakakapagpakilig sa iyo. Yung may mga oras na hinihiling mo na sana nagkikita na lang kayo araw-araw, na sana ay nagkakasama kayo, na sana ay naipaparamdam niyo sa isa’t-isa ang nais ninyong sabihin at nais na ipadama. Sana ay nahahawakan mo siya at nagtatawanan kayo ng totoo. Yung hindi puro boses lamang ang iyong naririnig kundi pati ang kanyang mukha ay iyong nakikita. Masaya sana kung gano’n lang kadali ang lahat. Pero, hindi eh. Sobrang malayo kayo sa isa’t isa. Yung tipong kailangan mo pang magbayad ng napakalaking halaga para lamang makapunta ka sa kanya o makapunta naman siya sa’yo. Masaya, ngunit kailangan mo talagang magtiis. Kailangan mong magbigay ng mas maraming oras at atensiyon kumpara sa mga taong may karelasyon na nagkakasama araw-araw. Wala naman kasi kayong ibang pamimilian kundi ang magbigay ng mas malaking tiwala at mas mahabang pasensya.

            Talaga namang mahirap ang ganitong klase ng pag-iibigan. Kung para sa iba ay hindi ito totoo, masasabi kong nagkakamali sila. May kasabihan nga tayong “saka mo lang mararamdaman ang isang bagay kung ikaw na mismo ang nakakaranas nito”.

            Sa pagdaan ng maraming araw at buwan, may isang bagay akong napagtanto. Hindi lang pala puro saya at kilig ang naidudulot sa’yo ng pag-ibig. Malaki ang posibilidad na ikaw ay masaktan. Sabi nila, parte lang naman daw talaga ito. Pero, hindi ako naniniwala doon. Mas naniniwala kasi ako na “kung mahal mo talaga ang isang tao, hindi ka gagawa ng kahit anong bagay na makakasakit sa kanya.”

            Darating at darating din kayo sa puntong kailangan niyong maghiwalay. Hindi dahil sa hindi niyo na mahal ang isa’t isa kundi dahil alam mo na rin sa iyong sarili na may ibang taong nakalaan para sa’yo. Siguro nga kaya mayroong mga ganitong pangyayari ay upang mas maihanda tayo ng Diyos para sa tamang tao. Kung hindi man kayo magtagpo sa ngayon, maaaring sa tamang panahon mo siya makikilala. Ang tangi mong kailangang gawin ay ang maghintay. Hindi mo kailangang magmadali dahil “Ang mga bagay na minamadali ay hindi nagtatagal at ang mga bagay namang nagtatagal ay hindi minamadali”.

My first date with Alden Richards

LONG POST AHEAD.

As I came across through GMA Records official Facebook page, I saw an update that Alden would release another album in October. They already started pre-ordering and there’s a bonus. A SIGNED PHOTO CARD. Those who will pre-order will be accommodated by GMA during Alden’s mall shows. I was so happy and I hurriedly check out how but unfortunately, the pre-order’s due date was on September 30, just yesterday. My hopes became 1% from 100 quickly.

Just a day after, I heard about Alden’s Album Launch in North Edsa. In order to get passes, I have to avail Wish I May Album + freebies (which costs P700) = A TICKET. The only problem was that I have to go to SM North Edsa’s ASTROPLUS store to officially get it.

That night, I asked my sister if she can do that favor for me since she works in Manila but, sadly QC is far from her office. I also tried asking my brother who works in Makati. I didn’t know that IT WAS REALLY that far. I went to my cousin because I know that he goes to different malls in Manila and F-U-C-K. He just got home here in Batangas from SM North fucking Edsa. So, bye.

“I have to think for other options”, I told myself midnight of October 3, 2015.

I had the guts to ask my online friends living in Manila if they’re near SMNE. Actually, there was someone who is. We were close but confidential things happened and I got shy to approach her. I did message her but I didn’t pursue my plan.

Option 5. Selena Claudette Agustin from FEU. *SPECIAL MENTION HI* I checked her Facebook account to verify her address and tadah! She is from Quezon City. We are close, yes. She is much more talkative than I do. She tells me everything even about crushing on her professor. Though, I feel guilty whenever I was the first one to always hang up the phone. I texted her, tweeted her and sent a message on Facebook to tell what my real intentions are. They are currently having their FINAL EXAM though. I’m such a bad friend. Sorry.

Without hesitations, she accepted my request. I don’t know how many times did we plan to see each other even before but the TAMANG PANAHON doesn’t come yet.

We agreed about it. I will send her money to buy the bundle + shipping fee and she will send me the OFFICIAL RECEIPT.

I am so blessed to have such kind of friend.

That night I started to comment on GMA’s IG posts about the Album Launch. I was looking for a company and good thing, there were 4 people who replied. I created a group chat and just the day before the 17th, we became 15 people in the group. AMAZING.

I bought a new dress, stockings, a pair of sandals and borrowed a jacket from my classmate. LOL, I WASN’T THAT EXCITED.

D-day.

Anyway, I sprained my ankle the night before. I asked my sister if she can go with me and she said no.

Morning anxiety. I woke up at 5:00AM, took a bath, dressed up, ate breakfast and brushed my teeth. I borrowed the digicam from Ate Min, the oldest sister of mine.  Ate Jam, my sister who is 5 years older than me decided to drop me off at Ortigas and let me ride a bus that will lead me to SM North Edsa.

I was so freakin’ nervous. Then, there. I texted the friends I’m going to meet that I am on my way and we left the province already. The bus passed by Ayala, Makati, LRT, blablablablabla and we were in Ortigas.

Ate Jam let me ride the bus to SM North Edsa. Yes, I was only with myself. What’s going on my mind is, “where the fuck is North Edsa? where the fuck is the bus bay? where? where should I go? where do broken hearts go?”

I already reached the destination. I don’t know what part of the mall The Block and The Annex is located. Asked the guards and they FUCKING pointed me to the wrong direction. Anyway, I got there by 9AM and I was able to line up by 9:30AM. >_<

Guess I was the first one in the group to arrive. Minutes after, two familiar people lined up behind me. I looked at their faces. I heard one of them say, “Siya ba ‘yung Jewel? From Batangas?” I quickly turned my head and said, “Opo.” Had chitchat until we were already complete 15.

We got our shirts next from the ASTROPLUS store because we need the official receipt to have at least 3 stamps. 1 for the t-shirt, 2 for lining up and 3 for entering the Cinema.

We ate Chicken Fillet Ala King as our lunch and that was my first time to try it. I don’t usually taste stuffs that are new to me plus it doesn’t look tasty but I had no choice. If I will change my order, it will take a lot of time since all the rest wants it. I tried wiping the sauce. Just EW. I ate it. I was so hungry.

We were watching Kalyeserye and I heard how everyone reacted. It feels so new. The last time I had this feeling was way back 2013 during Dream K-pop Fantasy Concert. But this one is much more exciting.

Knew it that they will announce something. Since it’s a Saturday, a revelation will be unfold again. Lola Nidora opened the envelope showing the photo of the Philippine Arena. They’ll do a live show on October 24 and the ticket selling had started already. For the second time. I lose hope. I already know that I won’t be able to attend such event because 1st, the venue is too far; 2nd, where will I buy the ticket?; 3rd, it’s so expensive; 4th, my parents would not allow me.

6:00pm.

We were already inside the Cinema. I felt like I was freezing. The program started with the games, few front acts and lastly, the most-awaited part of it, Alden.

He was singing behind the entrance door. We didn’t see him yet but the crowd was already wild as expected. Alden ran to the stage. He was so overwhelmed. He cried. He thanked us for going. As he was singing Thinking Out Loud and God Gave Me You, he looked at our side, my side rather. I waved at him like I was so desperate and HE WAVED BACK AT ME. That’s the cutest fan service ever!

He sang How Great Is Our God which was popularized by Chris Tomlinson and he has his own version on the album. For the last song, he sang Wish I May. Photo Opportunity.

Supposedly, there were gonna be two tables and 5 chairs. 4 chairs in front of the two tables and 1 chair behind. The fans will have to sit of course on the 4 chairs provided. We kept on shouting, “no table!” for how many times. Alden heard us and granted our requests. He is a real sweetheart.

Good thing, I was second in the line of four people. That means, I will be sitting just beside Alden. OH MI GOSH. The thought melts me.

There, we already went up to the stage, sat down to the chairs and waited for the other two to occupy the two seats. I smelled him. I stared at him and he is so white. He smells like a sampaguita that haunts me and gives me nostalgic feeling. *click* *click*  Photos were already taken. I had to say good bye to this cute and handsome guy beside me. I was speechless. The only thing I said to him was, “I love you.” He looked at me and replied, “Thank you” with his adorable dimples.

We exited the Cinema and I still feel like I was going to die during that very moment.

AlDub Kalyeserye - RECAP October 3

Actually, I made and I’m still making and I would still make these summaries for the reason that I will include it on our magazine in school. But, I’ve decided to share it with you, guys. Since, I know that I am not the only fan of AlDub/Maiden/TiMeng in the whole wide world! So, here. Enjoy!

SaturDATE.

Every Saturday is a big event for all the fans of AlDub. This week, they were supposed to meet again in the studio of Eat Bulaga at Broadway Centrum. The Dabarkads and staffs of the show prepared a very luxurious party. There were flags and group of musicians invited as well. Lola Tinidora was the one who first arrived in the studio dancing to Mambo No. 5. She brought the Quandos with her and the food they’re supposed to give to the people in the studio. Lola Nidora and Yaya Dub then reached the destination. The public welcomed them with all their hearts and soul. Yaya Dub blessed to Tito Sen., Joey, Vic and Allan who are the main hosts of the show. Lola Nidora presented Yaya Dub to the audience and it earned a very loud yell as the fans go wild upon seeing Maine Mendoza. Lola Nidora was hesitant if she would allow Yaya Dub and Alden to sit on the table provided for them. But, TVJ serenade her which made Lola calmed. After that, Lola Nidora said, “...hindi sa kalye nagliligawan. Tinginan lang MU na agad. ‘Di pa magkakilala in a relationship na,  tapos it’s complicated. Ang lovelife ngayon daig pa ang balitang live via satellite. Maganda sa pakiramdam ang hinaharana.” It just shows how we should give importance to the word “love”. Alden showed up and came up to the stage holding roses which she later gave to Lola Tinidora, Lola Nidora and Yaya Dub. He also lent her the Mango Chocolate he bought in Cebu. When their eyes met, it looks like their hearts also touched each other. You can see it in Alden’s eyes that he is overwhelmed and very much happy as she saw Maine. They even talked with just the use of their eyebrows – sweet little moments as what they call it. They were having dubsmash face-to-face until someone shouted, “I love you, Alden!” Yaya Dub got shocked and looked for the person who shouted the phrase. She saw the girl and she was about to dash her. It’s her way of saying that Alden is just really hers – even in real life, I think. But before they sit on the chairs, Lola Nidora had a challenge for him – a challenge which is hard for him to win – Bato Bato Pik. If Alden wins, they will be allowed to shake hands and take selfie together. As expected, Alden won. They shook hands for a minute. Yes, a minute. I counted it myself. All the audience inside and outside the studio cheered for the both of them. Yaya Dub then said a famous line delivered by Nora Aunor decades before. They also had a duet TOGETHER. Sorry, I just really need to emphasize that word. Allan asked Lola Nidora to go upstairs near the audience and leave Alden and Yaya Dub together on the table. Unexpectedly, Lola Nidora agreed. Alden and Yaya Dub were talking, drinking at the same buko juice prepared for them with just two straws. My two clear eyes saw how Yaya Dub used the blue straw; and Alden, the red straw at first. But, when they exchanged seats, their straws also exchanged. It was an indirect kiss. YES. KISS. K-I-S-S. With the help of Joey and Jose, Alden’s arms were placed on Yaya Dub’s shoulders. I like to scream. I like to pour my heart out for them. It was just extremely beautiful to watch them together in one place and talking. Yaya Dub fed Alden with the Mango Chocolate. The Eat Bulaga family was taking selfies when Lola Nidora and Allan went down already. Lola Nidora said, “Baba na tayo. Tinototoo na nung dalawa.” Lola Nidora had a group talk with the hosts leaving Alden and Yaya Dub together behind them. Alden and Yaya Dub were talking and simply taking selfies together while drinking buko juice. Their faces were so near to each other. They only need a little push. Lola Nidora asked if Alden and Yaya Dub could exchange places – Yaya Dub in the studio and Alden in the Barangay. They all agreed to it until Rihanna called. “Ha?! Ano’ng nangyayari sa mansion?!?!?!?!?!”, Lola Nidora shouted. Lola Tinidora and Lola Nidora together with the Rogelios and Alden hurried up to go. What happened to the mansion? Why were they exchanged? What would Yaya do in the studio – sing? Dance? Be one of the hosts? We would find out on Monday!

Yesterday, the KalyeSerye ended when Yaya Dub opened the letter that was given to her by Alden. Ehem. I wonder what’s inside it. As usual, Lola Tinidora was dancing Zumba again and even climbed up the ladder like what she used to do when the song Mambo No. 5 comes on. She was wearing pink in support for the Breast Cancer Prevention Month this October. Lola Nidora entered the show while dancing to Dessert. She looks so cool. Her steps are synchronized as well as her facial expressions. Everyone noticed how Yaya Dub looked today. She was very blooming and it can be seen on her face that it was brought by the handwritten letter of Alden. Tito Sen. asked if how many times have she read it already. Yaya Dub said, “five times. No, 10 times. Multiply by 2.” Lola Nidora reacted that we should respect other’s privacy. I love you, Lola. But we like to read the letter of Alden. Please. Just once. “Privacy is the best policy.”, she added. Hahahahahaha. I didn’t know that quotation had already changed. Alden came up while saying thanks to Yaya Dub for the gifts. He then asked her, “Pwede ka bang maka-duet?” My heart just melted. Yaya Dub responded, “Duet? Sa tamang panahon.” Seriously, I don’t know when the tamang panahon is. I want it to happen today or tomorrow. I don’t like to wait for something that will never happen. Hugot. It was seen on Alden’s face that he was a little bit disappointed. He closely went to the monitor and stole a kiss to Yaya Dub. Oh sh*t. Alden’s Hokage moves. They even had nose-to-nose. Can it also be in person? Please. /puppy eyes/ Alden blessed on Lola Nidora through the screen. For us Filipinos, it’s a big deal to pay respect to the ones older than us. Since tomorrow is another big day for the whole AlDub Nation, Alden will be the one to welcome the family of Yaya Dub. The whole family of Eat Bulaga started to party by dancing, singing and such – even the audience inside and outside the studio, the staffs, and other Dabarkads. Lola Tinidora answered that she likes to have Crispy Pata and Lechon for tomorrow’s event. Lola Nidora had seen her partner Jimmy on the screen. They had a conversation through writing, like what Yaya Dub and Alden was doing. “It feels young when you’re inspired”, Lola Nidora said. She also asked to have a glass of water on the table for each of them tomorrow so that when Yaya Dub will be choked again, she doesn’t have to ask Alden for it. She already knew that it’s just one of Yaya Dub’s moves to get advantage. Alden asked Lola Nidora if he can beso to them. Well, it’s like a kiss but kind of far from it. What? Lola Nidora didn’t agree and said that he should be contented of what she will allow or not. And they’re still on the level of getting-to-know-each-other not beso-to-know. Yaya Dub spoke again for the nth time. “Super excited na rin akong makita kayong lahat. Lalo na ikaw!” She was obviously pertaining to Alden. Her voice sounds so sweet and very angelic. Alden will be going to Cebu after KalyeSerye but he promised that he will be present tomorrow. Yaya Dub told him not to forget her pasalubong. Alden said, “Pwede bang ako nalang?” I’m going crazy! I don’t know how to react! Of course, Yaya Dub responded, “Oo.” Please, can you just marry each other like, right now, at this very moment? “ May ipagbibilin ka pa ba?” Stop it, both of you. I am lacking oxygen. I want to cry. Maine, I mean, Yaya Dub told him, “Ingat ka!” and “Mami-miss kita” both with her real voice. I literally screamed. Is it totoohanan already?  On the other hand, Lola Nidora requested for TVJ to harana them once they arrive at the studio. TVJ was okay with it. Yaya Dub sang Cry by Mandy Moore which made Alden blushed. Another horn was heard. The segment has already ended again today. But Alden and Yaya Dub still had a chance to sing God Gave Me You together, again. Ayt.

I’m so mad rn. I’ve been using this phone - BlackBerry Z10 for 1 year and 7 months today. I got it last February 2014

Things I’ve noticed:

1. ITS BATTERY LIFE REALLY SUCKS

I don’t use much of my apps. When I first had it, it was good. I use it for texting, calling & surfing. But as time goes by, it started to fucked up. Especially when I updated it 10.2. Yes, the features really look good but what the hell. THE BATTERY LIFE JUST BECOME SO IDK. As what I observe on my BBZ10, it loses its battery life itself. I charge it in the morning with 100% and by 6pm onward it’s down to 20% even when I don’t use it. Well, you’re still lucky if it will still have a charge at that time bcs most of the time, I just notice my phone is turned off and needs to be charged.

2. ACCESSORIES ARE EASILY DAMAGED/BROKEN

5 months of using, the charger won’t work. I did not do anything but when I plugged it in it has red exclamation mark on the battery percentage. Sometimes there’s a notice about the cable blabla. But I’m using the original charger that came with the device. In addition to that, my earphones won’t work as well. I just plug it in my BBZ10 but one day I noticed that it’s only the left one which is working.

3. SLOW APPS

Yes. Very slow. I downloaded Viber and sh*t. It takes a lot of time before it opens. The contacts won’t load, the messages can’t be seen easily. Same with Twitter. Especially when viewing tweets. Twitter now has the “quote tweet” thing, right? When I view it on my BBZ10 it just shows the link. On Facebook, what I noticed was the features in other android/iOS phones are not supported. Like the feeling thing and the likes. Another thing is Skype. I remember when I used it to talk to someone before and guess what? It doesn’t show videos. LOL What is the fucking purpose of this shit?

4. TERRIBLE APP STORE

I only found Twitter, Facebook, Viber, Spotify & Musixmatch (WELL, THESE ARE SOME OF THE APPS I USE) It takes a lot of time to load. However, when downloading, it’s awesome. There are no GREAT apps for painting/editing photos. Unlike on android/iOS, you can download PhotoGrid, PhotoCollage, etc.

5. SUPER SENSITIVE AND IT’S ANNOYING

I bring my phone at school and the only thing that I do is I put it inside my bag, ofc. One time, the screen has already scratches. Good thing I had screen protector. But, as I observe my phone, there’s something white sparkling inside the phone itself. I tried to remove it because I thought it was just a dirt, but nope. It was a permanent mark.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING/USING BLACKBERRY Z10 IF YOU’RE A TECHIE AND YOU LIKE EXPLORING PHONES A LOT. BLACKBERRY IS (I THINK) FOR PEOPLE WHO HAS NO SOCIAL LIFE AND JUST USE PHONE TO CALL.

I’ll try to post about the good points soon. If I can site one. (kidding)

ThursDEI. WEEKSAAAAAAARYYYYYYY

Today is the weeksary of Alden and Yaya Dub. YEHEY! It’s their 11th weeksary today! I’m already looking forward to the things that they’ll do. The KalyeSerye had started when Lola Tinidora was doing Zumba with her peers. Lola Tidora joined them. As they talk about the last episode, they suddenly remember Bill – who came to see Lola Tinidora yesterday. This is for real. “Meng” is Maine’s nickname in real life and considering that it’s still KalyeSerye, they should of course, use their stage names but, nope. My hopes are getting high again! Alden and Maine, what are you two doing?! Alden ran and chased the riding-in-tandem to give the flowers and the letter to Maine back in the barangay. God Gave Me You, which has been their theme song, started playing. Yaya Dub, sang it again and Alden joined her. It’s their first duet together. Aw, my poor lovely heart. /inserts heart-eyed-emoji/ they also had a duet while singing Wish I May which lead to the kilig of lots of fans in the whole wide world! On the other hand, Lola Nidora, showed something. She wanted their family to go to Broadway Centrum to finally meet the part of Alden. Then, it must be another date? When? on Saturday? Well, most likely! What would they do? Will they sing together again? Will they finally have a public conversation with their real voices? I just can’t wait!
