why wouldn’t Yennefer stay with Geralt overnight in season 1? Fear of intimacy? Commitment issues? Worried she might drool on him? WRONG!

the real answer Yennefer couldn’t stay the night with Geralt is because she couldn’t let him see her favorite pajamas

Huevember - Day 16 Witcher - Lambert

style notes geralt/yen: the background sets the tone for this couple dynamic, being a screenshot from the scene in evangelion where kaji and misato share that angsty moment and kiss. i’m weak for couples with complicated pasts reuniting again. 

his fit borrows the silhouette of kaji’s everyday attire with the addition of a longer, more formal coat and colour palette. his witcher pendant is vaguely represented as a tie broach, and of course he can’t go anywhere without at least one sword. yen’s fit is more directly inspired - she’s giving esmeraude (sailor moon) with a feather boa because my girl must always be represented in an iridescent feather  

mildly obsessed with this art series and still having such a good time with it x
