The Black Room

The door to the Black Room opens, allowing all four Cubes inside.

What awaits on the other side is a black abyss, devoid of life... except for one.

“I hate all of you.”

A voice that sounds like two voices speaking at once sounds out. It doesn’t sound happy.

Suddenly, four mechanical claws suddenly come out and drag the four Cubes to a table. They’re all seated, and their eyes meet the host.

It’s Pulse, but he looks different.

“I can’t believe none of you solved it. Probably should have seen this coming as basically none of you guys solved the gates.”

He pours out tea for the four, but immediately dumps it away.

“No more tea for you four, I suppose.”

An awkward silence fills the room.

“Oh. You’re probably wondering what’s happening with me. It’s just me, your hosts Step and Pulse.”

“I’ll simplify it for you four; I can’t get corrupted, so Step and I merged to give the illusion of being corrupted.”

“Just call me Pulstep in this form. Now wait here while I get the challenge ready, okay?”

Pulstep hands you back the teacups, but doesn’t refill. He then walks away.

“Oh. By the way, because you four have gained the utmost achievement of doing nothing, you all will be deducted a hundred Cards for the finale.”

“Well, seeya~”

Clash of the Cubes - Challenge TWO

“Welcome back to the Clash of the Cubes! Hopefully everyone’s over the shock. But now, I’m gonna give the next challenge!”

“…”

“…..”

Someone asks where the challenge is.

“…Aaaaany second now…. and bam.”

Everyone who shook Pulse’s hand, shocked or not, suddenly loses consciousness. As for Cube Leangel….

Everyone wakes up in separate cave-like rooms, suspended in a cage.

A TV inside the cage turns on.

“Surprise!!! My hand was also laced in a substance that makes anyone who touches it faint in 3 days.”

“Anyways, you’re currently in a cage in a cave suspended above spikes. The cage’s bottom will detach in approximately 1 minute when this recording’s gone.”

“Your challenge is to either get out the cage in time, or call for help loud enough so that that guy over there will come over to help. Dunno how, but that thing will.”

Your gaze pans to a spiky-headed blue flower dressed in military clothing. It seems to be asleep.

“Okay, so…. Your challenge starts… now.”

The tape recording ends.
