Where am I?

Where am I right now? It's not that I'm lost and trying to find myself. It's more of, I don't move cause I don't even know how to take another step.

Been wandering off from where I should be, trying to cope on my own, and closing doors from what I need to see. Asking myself questions, stupid questions i guess, again and again, even though I know that there's no answer to them.

On the edge of a cliff, in the middle of a dark tunnel, or locked in a tight space. It doesn't matter, no one is interested. Its a place where I hear voices that only I, could hear, and where I remember everything I wanted to forget.

We wander off while wondering why, asking and finding answers when circumstances don’t feel good at all. As much as we want answers for the things that break our heart, what should we finding to desire and need more is spiritual sight. And we should ask God for it, unceasingly. That means surrendering our “whys” and choosing to ask, “Will You help me see You, Lord?”, because His presence alone has the power to bring us peace in the midst of our unanswered questions. Let’s be careful not to get stuck in our whys. Let’s not allow them to leave us blind to His presence, blind to His goodness, blind to His power, blind to the hope we have in Him. This isn’t easy. ‘Cause I have situations where I’ve begged God to give me answers. But I realized instead of answers, He’s given me Himself. A way to come straight to Him, encounter Him intimately, learned from Him, and trust Him; the One who already has it all figured out, the One who knows what lies ahead of us, the One who’s in control. The One who reminds me that it shouldn’t be “why” but whom I really need. God, Himself is more than enough for us to have comfort and perfect peace in our circumstances. Knowing that He’s in control and sovereign over everything. We may have a lot of questions and may have answers to all of it, but only in God’s presence that we can rest and find perfect peace. As He said in His word “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exo. 33:14 NIV)

We can't choose what we will obey. We can't pick words only for our comfort and encouragement. And choose what areas we will allow God to control and change us. Partial obedience is still disobedience.
