"When you're right, you're right, my friend," Diana surmised with a tired smile, letting her weight crumple into a haphazard pile of limbs at one corner of the couch, letting the pizza box flop open in between them. It held the remains of two different pizzas from one ... two days before; a meat lovers and a supreme. She grabbed the first slice that was within reach, chomping on a bite and downing it with a long gulp from her water bottle. "Please, help me out or I will regret all my life choices tomorrow when I realize I've eaten all of this."

“Humility is all well and good,” he said, snapping off one glove and then the other to toss into the hazardous material bin before stepping closer to her, dropping a squirt of the sanitizer from the dispenser on the wall into his palm to spread around generously on hands, fingers, wrists.  Some things were just habit.    “But it’s a quick slide from humble to self deprecation, and I learned a long time ago that valuing one self is a rather important skill set.”    He let an elbow nudge lightly against her side.    “If you really don’t want my help, I won’t push -- but I promise, most things in life are easier with a friend.”

i am back in uni so certain days are generally blocked off for that (main days being thursday and sunday though depending on the weeks might bleed over to other days) and that's my priority, but i'm trying to balance that with my swtor + my writing on my active blogs + my sewing? so like ? work life play balance? who's she? idk. i'm going to try and get out a few draft here tonight but i'll be back over the next few days as well.
