Happy friday friends! Sharing a little snippet with you from a little (not-so-little) project that will be coming to you soon!

The problem with being Potions partners with James Potter is that he speaks endlessly — about Quidditch, about the weather, about his childhood, about Remus, Black, and Pettigrew — and he is impossibly hard to shut up. Nearly four months into their 6th year, Lily feels like she’s already heard his entire life story and she ought to be sick of it. Anyone else would be, wouldn’t they?

Frankly, Lily had been determined to keep maintaining her silence towards Potter even through their classwork. She had been ready to steel herself against constant nagging to ‘please Evans hear me out’ or ‘I didn’t mean it’ or — her least favorite ‘I don’t understand why you won’t just talk to me’. (All of which she had received from Snape, and was finally starting to end whatever lasting connection he thought they still had.) They had each made their stance against the other perfectly clear and Lily failed see how one class was going to change that.

Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1

The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.

So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.

So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.

Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.

And the probe is working again.

From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.

"Remus, we all know you're as anti-social as they come," Lily panted, slowly ascending the stairs to Remus's floor with the laundry basket in her arms. "You would never go to a 'Roommate Social."

Remus laughed and exited the stairwell. "Fair. Here it is- 1103! Looks like he's already-"

But he broke off, and both he and Lily stared into the small room, mouths agape.

Inside, half the room was covered in posters and stuff, with a giant pride flag stretched across the far wall. The man who could only be Remus's roommate was stretched across the bed, leather jacket hugging his lithe body and ripped jeans low on his hips, headphones messing up his stunning wavy black hair, eyes closed and foot tapping.

"I...don't think he'll be unaccepting..." Lily muttered, smirking.

But Remus realized quickly that the problem wouldn't be his roommate not accepting him.

james potter is a certified munch. that man eats pussy like he’s getting paid to do it and rent is DUE. i think he always liked doing it, even with partners before lily because he likes the validation of knowing he’s making someone feel good, and that he’s doing a damn good job at it. and when he starts dating lily and they start getting intimate,,, if he liked it before he’s downright obsessed now. everything about it with lily specifically: the way she feels, tastes, etc. even though he’s not the one receiving pleasure at that moment, just seeing her fall apart because of him is something he takes great pride (and pleasure) in.

i think they’d both have pretty high sex drives, but i think lily’s is just a bit higher than his. in general, i imagine they were that one couple that could Not keep their hands off of each other and were constantly sneaking away to blow off some steam. regarding the fact that lily got pregnant during the war, we can probably assume that it was an accident because i doubt getting pregnant was on their minds. i know accidents can happen even from a single chance, but i like to think that they were just fucking so frequently, that it ended up happening. like, imagine the rough sex after one or both of them comes back from a super dangerous order mission, and it’s just really passionate and intense, but also so full of love.

james is a certified yapper outside the bedroom, and i think he’d be one inside the bedroom as well. i think they’d both be frequent “dirty talkers”, but different kinds: james would be the inquisitive/narrative/observational dirty talker (i.e., “yeah? do you like that?”,  “i want you so much,” and “you’re so wet for me.”/“so responsive.”) whereas i can see lily being the instructional dirty talker, meaning she likes telling james what she wants him to to do her (“harder,” and “yes, just like that, james.”)

on the topic of dirty talk, while i think james would love telling lily what he wants to do to her, i can see him getting a bit shy when lily is asking him what he wants her to do to him. she has to coax him a bit and let him know that she genuinely loves getting him off too, and she wants him to tell her what feels good; i think he’d get more comfortable being vocal about what he wants after awhile.

their favorite positions are any positions that makes it easy to maintain eye contact. they fuck nasty, but they’re also crazy romantic about it (they make it work, somehow), so deep and intense eye contact while he’s inside her is a major turn on for both of them, especially when they maintain it while they finish.
